Deaut. 8-10

As you journey on your way, listen to what your Lord does say.

Even though you haven’t in the past. though humbled you are here at last.

Despite the life you did lead. God supplied all you need.

He did it that it may be known, that you live on God’s word alone.

Now you have learnt to obey, everything Gods word does say.

Then in all you ever do, praise the Lord who so has blessed you.

Remembering your past failure, that Christ alone was your saviour.

You must never forget this, or Gods purpose you will miss.

Right from the very start, you have had a proud and stubborn heart.

So that you chose to ignore, Gods way that you knew were sure.

But even then Jesus did protect, because you were Gods elect.

Though Gods word you did profane, he gave you another chance again.

Designating those who would lead, and supply your every spiritual need.

Once you were so few. Now God has multiplied those with you.

Mth. 7:1-14

To be shown as truly wise, you Should never criticise .

Why worry about their problem. When you can’t see, to solve them.

Jesus says don’t waste your time, on people who don’t have aspirations of mine.

All you need to do is ask, and God will fulfil any task.

Just remember always to others do, what you would like them to do to you.

For narrow is the way, but the Lord will lead you there today.

Ps. 37:16-24

Better to be Godly and poor. Than evil with riches galore.

For you are under Gods care. For the wicket always live in fear.

That just like flowers who die, depending on riches proves a lie.

But the Lord he will bless all, who are obedient to his call.

Prov. 11:30-31

God rewards all he chose. So don’t worry about those who oppose.

May 3

Gen. 1-2:3 John. 1:1-18

God creator of all. From the large to the small

From beginning to end. Then sent Christ to defend.

Rescued us who were sinning, he was there from the beginning.

Knew Gods purpose as a whole. Jesus defeated what the devil stole.

Gods children now that we believe. As the Holy Spirit we receive.

To show Gods goodness and love. Has come down from heaven above.

May 2

Deut. 5-7

The faith of our ancestors. Is quite different because.

We have seen God face to face, in a special mountain place.

Holy is the Lord. We must live in accord.

To all he commands us to do, if we are to come into something new.

To honour and to love, our God above.

To treat others every day, in a Godly way

Do what is best, then you will be blessed.

Destroy anything in your life that God does oppose. For a life of righteousness you chose.

Though you now say, the Lord we fear today.

His holiness and might, is just too great in our sight

God has appointed a priest to lead, To teach and fulfil our spiritual need.

That you might have one day. So much more than you expect or pray.

Tell your grand children how God did provide, how he when he in you , does abide.

How you came to finally , came out of sin and slavery.

To the word that had enslaved you. How he brought you into something totally new.

As long as we honour him, who our faith and hopes are in.

It is God who chose you. Though seem weak and so few.

He will restore and give you so much more.

You are to have a new start, from the evil of this world protect your heart.

Mth6:19-34

What is most important to you. Controls all you think and do.

Look to God alone, and he will let his will be known.

Then you need not worry or borrow, for he looks after tomorrow.

When Gods light is in me, it’s amazing what I can see.

But if distracted by another choice, l won’t hear Gods voice.

For he is so near. we always can be under his care.

Ps. 37:8-15

Don’t be angry with what you see. Know that the Lord is always for me.

When the wicket seem to have the upper hand. On Gods word of promise stand.

Then there failures will be shown as the purpose of God is known.

Prov. 11:27-29

The choice is yours, who you choose opens those doors.

May 1

Deaut. 3-4 A successful life.

Victory has been given, over the land you now live in.

By Gods power alone, that it should always be known.

That you destroyed all that went before, as you Gods provision saw.

Teach those who follow after you, To defeat their future enemy too.

As they cross their river, into the lands God does deliver.

Listen to what l say, for there will also come a day.

When God will test you too. So be obedient in all you do.

For I cannot be there, but you must never fear.

As you remember all we did. Gods provision I have never hid.

Don’t ever be a fool, worshipping some false idol.

Always must remember this, it’s Christ who brought you into the land of his.

Though today you and I have it in part, It’s time for each to cross our Jordan for a brand new start.

Mth. 6:1-18

It is the way you privately live, that you discreetly should always give.

And when you come to pray, don’t babble but quietly ask God, for he knows the way.

Lord may your name be kept holy, May heaven keep us from this worlds foley.

Give me today all I need. Forgive as I a life of forgiveness lead.

Not tempted to do or see, anything that would stop me being free.

That all l fast and do, would only be known, God by you.

Ps. 37:1-7

Don’t worry about others success. Delight in the Lord, who you confess.

Commit your whole life to him. You will feel amazing success within.

Patiently wait and be still, for the Lord his purpose to fulfil.

Prov. 11:24-26

Freely give, that you and others, might live.

April 30

Deut. 1-2

We are at journeys end. Remembering how God did defend.

Through life’s struggles and tears. Overcoming all of my fears.

God took me on this long journey. For me to learn just how completely.

My God saves, that we are no longer slaves.

To the world that seemed so strong. For to Gods promise we did belong.

But when you went and spied, all you hoped for, then died.

But the spirit grew in you, is now alive in all you do.

Victory is yours, God says I will open doors.

That once seemed so heavenly. Because you now have faith in me.

Mth. 5:38-48

To those who are full of hate, treat them as a good mate.

It is not easy to be, so forgiving and friendly.

To those who despise you, because of what you do.

Always make it your task, to give whatever they do ask.

Show the love, of the Father above

Then your actions will have the effect. Of revealing Gods way is perfect.

Ps. 2

The world scoffs at him, who l have put my faith in.

And I have to confess, my life is in a bit of a mess

Yet the Lord said to me, you are my child don’t you see

You need only ask, and l come to complete any task.

Serve the Lord with reverent fear, and you will tremble when he comes near.

For so holy is he, it sometimes scares me.

Provs. 11:22-23

Those who lack discretion. Lack Godly perfection.

April 29

Acts. 27-28

A prisoner now taken away. No longer in control of the day.

Refuse to listen to what I say. When said wind would be against us today.

Then caught in this great storm. Hopeless and completely forlorn

Shipwrecked yet still survive. Everybody with me still alive

To then come to see. Christ was surely with me.

Nobody could any longer ignore. Christ could heal and restore.

As we finally arrived in Rome. To make the truth in him be known.

Mth. 5:27-37

Jesus seems to say. Must cast off anything that gets in the way.

That if you do divorce. Infidelity must be the cause.

No reason to promise and make a vow. Let your yes be yes and no be no, now.

Ps. 35

Lord help me in this fight. Give me victory in your sight.

For to you I belong. I have done them no wrong.

While trouble l will avoid. They will be destroyed.

But l just love to praise. As l hear what the Lord says.

You never seem to ignore. The hurting and the poor.

Even when I for you stood. They repay me evil for good.

Though prayed and fasted for them. They still remained a problem.

Always were against me. But you Lord have set me free.

May they one day say. The Lord delights in him today.

Prov. 11:19-21

Godly people find life. Evil people land in strife.

April 28

Acts 24-26

The unbelievers put Paul on trial, demanded his absolute denial.

Of the Jesus in who he believed. From the enlightenment he had received.

Though knew his history and background. Where the faithful in Jesus he had bound.

The whole world has heard of this. Yet still refuse to believe in Jesus.

Refusing to even listen, casting Paul into prison.

Yet today others cannot deny, that l do not lie.

For they all have been. Where truth has been heard and seen.

Though some shout out. You”re. a fool and don’t know what you are talking about

If only they would Christ receive. For l know that some of them do believe.

But instead they say. Maybe will someday.

Just leave him in prison. Im happy to just listen.

But then comes the day. When I will have to say.

If you will not budge. I appeal to God my judge.

Mth. 25:21-26

If because of anger you are mean. Like murder that has really been

Before you go to prayer. Let them know you care.

Do not prosecute. Your anger dilute.

Learn to be wise. Or faith in your God dies.

Ps. 94:12-23

Joyful are those. Who the world does oppose.

Though rejected by men. The Lord is with them.

Though sometimes in despair. I am under the Lords care.

Though powerful the enemy. Who gang up against me.

I trust in the Lord. Who they just have ignored.

Prov. 11:16-18

The gracious and kind gain. While wealth and selfishness bring pain.

April 27

Acts. 22-23

When we cause the world offence. Our testimony is the best defence.

To prove who we now are. Why we have come so far.

From when we like you. Fought against Gods purpose thinking to do.

What was right, in Gods sight

But then I saw the light, though blinded now given insight.

That Jesus was Lord of all. That l had to answer his call.

A special destiny. To reach out and preach to many.

Especially now to those. Who l had thought to previously oppose.

The religious cried enough. This is ridiculous stuff.

The police saw how they did behave. Came to rescue and to save.

But then to treat with derision. To throw into prison.

Now priests their own law flout. It was then I cried out.

What about you two. One believe the other a worldly view.

This led to a fight, to prove who was right.

Then those in power could see. I’m innocent and should be free

When it was shown, those who would kill were not alone

They protected me, from the enemy.

By sending me far away, for trial on another day.

Mth. 5:13-20

Am I like salt and light, in the worlds sight.

Salt that gives flavour, light that shines on my Saviour.

Don’t think of the law, Jesus came so you can know more.

It is there still, for he does fulfil.

For the Old Testament too , is fulfilled in the New.

So you can never say, this is a different day.

We must all stand before, the righteousness of the law.

If we are to enter in, Gods holy kingdom.

Ps. 94:1-11

Lord come and judge, when those evil people refuse to budge.

Let your glorious justice shine , in this world of mine.

Let the arrogant we observe. Get exactly what they deserve.

For goodness sake. How long Lord will it take,

The weak live in fear. It seems God you don’t care.

Yet what they honour as cool. Will show them to be a fool.

Just how worthless they are. when seen from afar.

Prov. 11:14-15

A leader is never to forget, don’t mortgage yourselves into debt.

April 26 Sunday

Mth. 1:18-21. Lk. 2:11 Acts 4:8-12

Today the Saviour is here.. In dreams and visiions God made clear.

The Holy Spirit is within, The church he chose to reveal himself in.

So go now you can join too. For that’s Gods will for you.

Christ is right there today. Where he will show the way.

Listen, despite how surprised you feel, Christ came there now to heal.

For today let’s make it clear. Christ is right amongst us there.

Though crucified it seemed, instead. God has raised, from the dead.

Though rejected him before. Today he has come back to restore.

To heal the church for God will build. A church that is, Spirit filled.

April. 25

Acts. 20-21

Paul on his way home, met up with all those he had known.

Encouraging those who believe, But when saw danger had to leave.

We all supported Paul , in his missionary call.

Sailing across the sea. Determinedly.

Teaching and preaching all night, Boy fell to death then came right.

Many came said you should know We see trouble, Paul’s determined to go

Encouraging them in his talk, to be strong in their own christian walk.

Yet many still came to say. There is great danger coming your way.

To home never the less we came, discovered it was just the same.

Many who joyously believed, still others accusing many have deceived.

You’ve led many astray. To ignore what our religion does say.

Kill him they all began to shout out. The police came to see what it was about

As they led Paul away, he said can l have something to say.

Then when Paul was allowed. Silence came over that great crowd,

Mth. 5:6-12

God blesses those who thirst, to put him always first.

Those who look for a cure, with hearts that are pure

Peace for all to be won. Gods work on earth seen to be done

Even when unbelievers attack, be happy don’t ever fight back.

For your reward will come. God has told everyone

Ps. 144:9-15

May Lord I sing a new song, as joyfully I know to you I belong.

For everyday l do see, you rescue me from the enemy.

Though they lie, your salvation deny.

May my children see, Gods goodness through me.

That they also come to say. God so blessed us today

Prov. 11:12-13

Don’t rubbish the fool, keep quite keep your cool.
