Dan. 3-4

(King demands worship of him. Refusal so guys thrown in furnace. Saved. King then has dream. Dan tells will be humbled then restored)

The world may come and ask.

To do a dishonourable task.

Against my christian belief.

When l say no! He sends relief.

This will show the whole world

When into the fire I’m hurled.

He rescues and everybody will see

That those flames did not harm me.

Then the powerful proclaim.

How great is my name.

God knows what this all about.

He then reveals there is no doubt.

Who really rules worlds people.

He can make strong or feeble.

That the world will finally learn

It’s by grace not by what we earn.

Amazing though seems a dream

God loves me I have seen.

For I have descended from him.

Now the Holy Spirit dwells within

Can now be in his ministry.

My past restrictions now set free.

Ps. 84. (great desire for more of God)

How wonderful Lord it is.

To be in your present is bliss.

Amazing that you favour me.

And l can now come to see.

What joy it is to know.

The light of your loves glow.

Again l do come and ask.

For I know I cannot mask.

My total dependants on you .

In the present struggles l view.

Daniel 1-2

Though captive in a strange land.

I’m in the God of heavens hand.

Who reveals in a way discrete.

How the world’s kings he will delete

It is just I who have been shown.

That the Lords ways might be known.

To bring honour only to him.

Who all knowledge is in.

Amazing it is to see.

Me treated honourably.

Because l proclaimed Gods word.

And his eternal purpose was heard.

Lk. 3:11-20

To to tell and show other men.

To be a good citizen before them.

For God to show the way.

Come and enlighten their day.

For though l am nothing.

I go before heavens King.

Even as l proclaim.

Judgment in his name.

Yet leaders refuse to listen.

And I seem stuck in prison.

Ps. 81.

I have been ordained to praise.

Is what the Lord says.

Though it might cause shocks.

It will be the word that unlocks.

That gives such total freedom

To all those who choose to come.

.And cry out to the Lord.

Then listen and live in accord

With what the Lord says.

For him to bless their ways.

Wise words make you brave.

Delusions only deprave.

Philemon. 1-4 ( a request for a enslaved believer to be accepted)

There will come a time.

In this world of mine.

When l am asked to give.

Freedom for a slave to live

Right back here with me

Where l can set him free.

For though once he was bound.

Now he has forgiveness found.

And l should be kind

For as brothers I will find.

He will bless even me.

Gods sending him so he can see.

What a disaster l see.

All around about me.

You people that are bound.

By sin that is found.

In church and the world.

Deserve to be hurled.

Into rubbish as just trash.

You bow before God so brash

Must turn from deceitful ways.

Do what the word of God says.

Your faith shall be your shield.

Salvation is only in him.

Who your only hope is in.

Lord l feel completely lost.

Can you come and pay the cost.

What a disaster I am in.

With trouble l see within.

I have dug a great hole.

That is troubling my soul.

Please come rescue me.

Of oppression of the enemy.

That we your sheep may come.

Be protected by Gods Son.

Lev. 26-27

In every way we should always listen.

For this is a life or death mission

The Lord makes ever so clear.

On earth we can always hear.

The master say come follow me

Amazing how makes you free.

Unbinds what shackles you.

As God your heart does renew.

To always put him not last but first.

He then comes to quench our thirst.

From living water now he brings.

A love of all sorts of things.

Satisfied with all in life.

Have hope and victory over strife.

So now when I give a vow.

I am determined not to allow

Anything to cause dismay

Because l have lost my way.

These are the commands.

What he expects even demands.

Lk. 2:41-52

While others wander on.

My thoughts are upon.

Being close to my heavenly Father.

For l would always much rather

Be there than where I’m now.

I also realise if l now bow

To those who support me.

By my influence they will see.

Gods goodness on earth

The start of a new birth.

Ps. 74:12-23

You are my king from long past.

This gives me hope l can outlast.

This world l live in.

Full of disaster and sin.

I totally depend on you.

God taught so we can become wise.

Every season we should recognise

To acknowledge and remember.

From January to December.

The blessings given to you.

So in everything you do

Leads to worship and praise

On these special days.

Especially in memory.

Of how we were made free.

That we also forgive.

Those who with us live.

The debt to the poor.

To open heavens door.

Lk. 2:34-40. ( Prophecies over baby Jesus)

Even as l obey.

The Lord reveals his way.

All that l had hoped.

When barely l had coped.

Is revealed to me now.

As worship and bow

Amazed what l now see.

Revelations especially to me.

Ps. 74:1-11. (Lord please restore)

Why have l struggled for so long.

Felt l have done everything wrong.

You redeemed me long ago.

Yet all that l seem to know.

Is troubles and weariness.

In everything there is distress.

No longer do we seem to see.

Your glory that set us so free.

Everything just seems so black.

Oh Lord why do you hold back.

Prov. 2:6

Yet the Lord will make wise.

Listen to what he does advise.

Lev. 15-17

The need to purify.

Means something must die.

To put out of sight.

Or it will cause a blight.

To completely apprise

In our holy Gods eyes.

To understand all you do.

So wellbeing can renew

To obey what the law says

Will be cleansed in many ways

Luke 2:1-7

God is in control.

Always on patrol.

To make sure that.

The place you are now at.

Even though you now sigh.

Wondering exactly why.

His purpose is to fulfil

Carrying out his perfect will

A baby now is born.

In a manger so forlorn.

Yet all God asks me to do.

Is wrap up and to view.

Ps. 46.

God our refuge and strength.

Goes to any length

To guide us our way.

On each and everyday.

Though our world crumble.

Our lives seem to stumble.

Be still he says never fear.

You’re always in my care

This will be a sign.

Lev. 21-23. ( To be a priest of the Lord)

To be Priest of the Lord.

Is to live faithfully in accord.

With all that he is.

In absolute holiness.

In every area of life.

Including family and or wife.

When seems too hard to do.

The Lord says I am with you.

But holy you must always be.

To declare your dedication to me.

In every area you live.

To me you must give.

Honour and sacrifice.

Mediocrity won’t suffice.

Lk 2:21-33. ( Jesus’s dedication to God)

As each come to dedicate.

In our vulnerable baby state

We hear the promise given.

Amazed at the body we live in.

Can have a glorious future.

That God came down to nurture.

Ps. 71:17-24. (A dedicated life’s reward)

Oh God you have taught me.

So I can now still confidently.

Old and grey feel I can still.

Serve you Lord and do your will.

Knowing my Lord on high.

Even in struggles when l sigh.

You come and restore.

Just like it was before.

I then feel joyful all over again.

As worship and praise your name.

For you have ransomed me.

Come set me completely free.

Prov. 2:3-5

As l cry out for more.

The Lord will bless and restore.

Jan 11 Sunday

Galatian’s 5:22-23 ( to be christian)

The Holy Spirit will produce

A heart that will induce

You to do good to all.

That is your call

Nehemiah 8:10

Go now and celebrate.

For your present state.

Strength cannot be ignored.

By having the joy of the Lord.

Hebrews. 12:1-2

Now because we have heard.

The truth in Gods word.

Let’s strip off all weight.

That has hindered us to date.

That we might endure.

Answer the call to be pure.

disregarding the shame.

Of believing in Christs name.

For we need not cower

He is seated in all power

James. 1:2-3

So when troubles come your way.

Remember it’s always the Lords day

For when God seems to test.

You will learn what is best.

Lev. 18-20 (sexual purity and holiness)

You must be holy as God is holy.

To do any other is complete folly

You know what his word says.

How you are to live your days.

I must be in complete harmony.

With the God who loves me.

Who knows what is best.

Disappointment be does detest.

I should always try to do.

What’s good in Gods view.

Luke 2:8:20 ( The shepherds revelation at night)

It is amazing what God has done.

Glory for him has been won.

For men on earth shall be peace.

For those who their God do please.

I must hurry now to see.

What God has shown me.

Amazing was the sight.

A baby revealing his might.

I just had to tell.

For I knew all was well.

While Mary listened too.

What was God going to do?

Lord you know the trouble I’m in.

Yet l know you can help me win.

Are my safety where I can hide.

My hope in Christ who in l abide.

For you have been with me always.
