Colossians. 3-4

Since Christ is your focus, no need to worry about the worlds hocus pocus.

Thinking about the things of heaven, not about world’s worries that disturb like leaven.

For you have died to this life, Christ alone will suffice.

For the day will one day come , when that is the focus of everyone.

So put to death those things that at present , they need to be so obviously absent.

Get rid of this in your behaviour , be renewed by Christ your Saviour.

Since Christ chose you , to be an example in all you do.

The peace of your heart, reveals just how smart.

For the riches that Christ gives, shown by the way a christian lives

Reveals so much more, than God is a God of law.

When we are totally satisfied, Christ’s sovereignty not denied.

That you can always pray, reveal the mysteries of God in this day.

Be proactive, let your conversations be attractive.

Surrounded by good friends, each one also sends.

Goodwill and greetings to you all, for to me their blessings are so reliable.

Mark. 11:12-26

When Jesus sees the fig tree, that its fruit is not satisfactory.

Like the temple of the Lord, whither then dies because fruitfulness has been ignored.

But even then, when as faithful men.

You pray that mountain be gone, trusting the God to whom you belong.

It will flee before me , be cast into the sea.

Ps. 112

Blessed are those who Gods will is their delight, they will see his power and might.

Everyone shall come to see, Gods Spirit abides in me.

Never to feel forsaken, my faith continually making.

Others whose lives feel so vexed , no longer feeling so perplexed.

Christ who abides in me, for them no longer a mystery.

Prov. 23:14-15

The rod of discipline, needed to defeat wilful sin.

September 4

Colossians 1-2

Our faith in Christ Jesus , totally now frees us.

By Gods wonderfull grace , he changed all future days.

Producing the good fruit, patience and endurance. To go the distance that suit.

For to Christ we call, who existed long before all.

He the original creator, Now opens a new door.

Through his blood on the cross , we are no longer at a loss.

Holy and blameless. Now Jesus the Christ can bless.

Through my suffering too, may he my faith renew.

As Christ helps in my walk, and inspires when I talk.

That many might see the plan, God has for every man.

Let no one be able to deceive, all that you have come to believe.

For it is Christ you belong, faith in him makes you strong.

There will always be a few , who will try to argue.

Obeying the law , means so much more.

When it is through Christ alone . God is truly known.

You were absolutely dead before , now you have so much more.

So don’t let them condemn , they are just self- righteous men.

For it is Christ that holds all together. Don’t go down that track, never.

For you too have died, as the thinking of the world you laid aside.

For Christ is so much more, it is though him you win the war.

Mk. 11:1-11

Before he went on to Jerusalem, Jesus sent us to solve a problem.

A donkey to ride on was needed, Amazing how easily succeeded.

Then we were on a roll, as dressed that donkey for its role.

Jesus then climbed aboard , we all shouted hosanna hosanna to the Lord.

Blessing on he who does come, for he is destined to bless everyone.

When Jesus arrived the temple he found, he had a good look all around.?

Ps. 20.

In times of trouble may the Lord hear your cry. When all your hopes seem about to die.

May Jesus save you from all harm ,when you raise the alarm.

May he look favourably on your desire. , and pull you out of the mire.

Remembering all you have done, in supporting most everyone.

May I shout for joy at the victory , Jesus has achieved through me.

For it is through him alone, that my victory becomes known.

While others will fall, as their own resources stall.

Prov. 23:10-12

Don’t cheat your neighbour , and bring dishonour to you Saviour.

Josh. 22-24

Finally the world has seen , what following Jesus does mean.

Each in our own way, serving the Lord on this day.

Having an altar that will remind me and you. That we will always have the same world view.

Our desire to put Jesus first , to recognise what is cursed.

That we might continue to fight. In the power of the Holy Spirits might.

So we can be completely free, of Satan the enemy.

As we each go to our place of rest , knowing we have passed the test.

Mark 10:35-52

Each of us come to Jesus , wanting him to make us leaders.

But then the Lord does say, this is not my followers way.

For as you see what the rulers of the world do, this cannot be like you too.

For those leaders I call , must be the servant of all.

And don’t ever ignore, the desperate cry of the poor.

Jesus says bring them here to me, I will show you how the blind can see.

For then their joy in the Lord, just cannot be ignored.

Ps 142

To the Lord I cry out, my heart is still full of doubt.

I feel so lonely , Nobody cares really.

About the prison I’m in, I can’t escape this old body I live in.

Prov. 23:7-9

What the false teach, has no impact on outreach.

September 2

Joshua. 19-21

As the land was made free, each was given their own territory.

To call their very own , forever to be known.

Theirs to live on, where they do belong

Some to serve in a special way, some inherited from a former day.

All joined together as one, worshiping Father , Spirit and Son.

Mark. 10:23-34

Yet how hard it is for the rich , desire for more money that never ending itch.

But the Lord opens a door, that even the rich cannot ignore.

God invites them in, As they realise their sin.

To give up old aspirations, and fleshly inspirations.

As they follow him, who now seems so awesome.

While those who live in fear, don’t come too near.

Especially when they hear, the cost spelt out so clear.

Ps. 111

I thank the Lord with all my heart , that I can gather and be a part.

Of those who have been set free, to worship his glory and majesty.

To remember and rejoice, as we listen to the Lords voice.

Forever it is true when obey with integrity. Amazing what the Lord does for me.

For to really know him, is the beginning of all wisdom.

Prov. 23:4-6

Riches that seem endearing, end up just so wearing.

September 1

Josh. 16-19

Each are given, a land to live in.

To possess and conquer, to defend as a believer.

Jesus gave , we must be brave.

To know true delight , must defeat the last Canaanite.

Now it is your land , both man and women to command.

Mk 10:13-22

Children can come to Jesus , so often to show us.

How dependent we can be , confident he can give victory.

When we think we are as good, as any in the neighbourhood.

One thing you have not done , sold your possessions you depend on

No longer so glad, many possessions always had.

Ps 103:13-22

The Lord is like a dad to me, I’m so weak undeniably

Though one day all is gone, I know to whom I belong.

A new heaven and earth, where there will be new birth.

Prov. 23-1-3

When world likes us , don’t forget Jesus.

August 31

Josh 14-15

The promised land was divided , into seperate areas the Lord decided.

Each tribe to conquer their own, by their own ancestry were known.

Caleb who had never been afraid, asked for the promise Moses had made.

Though knew giants did belong, God had been with him all along.

Caleb then his daughter gave, what she asked for she too was brave.

So at last the land of peace was mine, everything had turned out fine.

As we lived in accord ,to the will of the Lord.

Mark 10:1-12

Jesus was not controlled, by what his world told.

But by the word of Gods law, that nobody could ignore.

For when two become one, it is not for anyone.

To now debate , for they now relate .

As husband and wife , for the rest of their life.

For our troubles can be all blamed. When broken what God has ordained.

Ps. 103:1-12

Let all that l am praise the Lord, for have taken his lessons aboard.

Though broken his laws, he comes and restores.

His love and goodness brings, so many good things

He has so blessed me, I feel now totally free

From oppression and strife, that I had made in my life.

So often feel I failed . But the Lords love prevailed.

Prov. 22:27-29

Diligence and honesty, in the end set you free.

August 30 Sunday

Judges 6:24. John 4:27. 1 Peter 3:8

Build A place of remembrance, forever keep in mind the instance.

Jesus gave a gift right from the start. Sent the Holy Spirit to give peace to mind and heart.

The world can never know this, when life to them seems disastrous.

But you should be of one mind, Sympathetic and kind.

In love tender hearted and humble, when see your brother stumble.

Aug 29

Josh. 11-13

When we seem to be victorious, it is then the enemy comes determined to defeat us.

But the Lord will go on ahead , so we kill each of those enemies dead.

Finally to win the war, that we had so longed for.

Now we could live in peace , our conscience finally at ease.

When all was said and done, when look back on every battle won.

Now separated in a decision , to divide promised land we live in.

Though knowing all along, among us some don’t belong.

Mk. 9:38-50

Sometimes we look to criticise and blame, when see others that also claim.

The healing power of Jesus, thinking he is special just to us.

But God says this is not true, my blessings are not exclusive to you.

What really does matter, sin that causes a believer to fall off the ladder.

No longer the salt of the earth, instead evilness in his life gives birth.

That is what needs cutting away, if the Lord is to have his perfect way.

Ps 84

How lovely Lord your dwelling place, when I have overcome each enemy l face.

I come joyfully before the Lord, though small , nothing is ignored.

Strength given to those, who come to you, for they chose.

After walking through a valley of weeping, decided to keep on keeping.

Their faith Lord in you. and see a new blessing come into view.

For every day, along the way, your goodness is on display.

I see so much grace and glory, in the Lords amazing story.

Prov. 22-24-26

Keep well away, from the doubters of today.

August 28

Josh 8-10

After victory worship the Lord, remember his word cannot be ignored.

Then those that are near , plead for your care.

While those who are far way, seek to destroy you the next day.

Be strong and courages. Though their strength may seem outrages.

For who ever comes to fight, is small in the Lords sight.

Wherever you go, you overcome your foe.

Mark. 9:30-37

I did lay down my life said Jesus, while we create a great fuss.

Over who would be the latest, to be honoured as the greatest.

But Jesus then says, it’s a child that best portrays.

For those. meek and mild, Know they are the Father’s child

Ps. 119:169-176

Lord listen to my cry, help me to discern how to get by,

As l remember all that I have heard, and again read your holy word.

Give me a helping hand, that I again be seen to stand.

Praising all that you do, as my world you renew.

Prov. 22:20-23

Defend the weak man, wherever you can.

August 27

Josh. 5-8

All people thought how strong are you. But it was the Lord to who honour was due.

Must circumcise the heart, at the very start.

To banish at last , slavery of the past.

Everything now right here, with nothing to fear.

Amazing to see, God was for me.

The walk around the wall, seeming impenetrable and tall.

Praising the Lord, who they had ignored.

Their walls came tumbling down , your victory became renown.

Seem so easy to do, for God had blessed you.

Then defeated by those who oppose , because of what some among you choose

For sin that dwelled in the heart , had defiled every part.

Because the Lord it did annoy , we knew we had to destroy.

Then victory came our way, the very next day.

Now build a monument, acknowledging the trouble God sent.

When we were misled , not obeying what Gods word said.

Mk 9:14-29

When facing what seems too hard to beat. The Lord Jesus comes to defeat.

What we knew , we could not do.

For when fast and pray , then believe all God does say.

See evil defeat, as Gods purpose we meet.

Os. 119:161-168

Powerful people oppose , but it’s your word Lord l chose.

For my own pleasure, where I find my treasure.

Where I find my peace, the trouble I face then cease.

Prov. 12:17-19

Listen to words of the wise they teach trust. For the christian it is an absolute must.
