Deut 32-34

Lord the opposition, is full of superstion.

That leaves them in a muddle, and leads to only trouble.

Then when their faith shall die, and they come and ask why.

The salvation of God they will see, as he says you must have no other Gods but me.

So no enemy can stand, against us in the promised land.

Remember all that you have heard, and learnt, then pass on God’s holy word.

For I am about to die, I accept and I know why.

But the promised land God has me shown, The land of promise he’s always known.

Now to bless each one of you, as you go on and inherit something new.

Rueben a strong horse, a powerful mighty force.

Abigail full of love, bringing honour to the God above.

Joshua a mighty man, fulfilling Gods unseen special plan.

Chloe a lovely girl, beautiful, Gods oyster pearl.

Daniel a righteous man, will lead the others into Gods plan

Laura like a frisky mare, strong but full of Gods care.

Anita so very clever, will serve our God forever.

Toni’s only child Ben, When righteous will serve God then

Hudson will be a man, that will fulfil Gods greater plan.

Billie she is pure, in her God her faith is sure.

Isaiah a lonely man, does what no other can.

Violet a blooming flower, full of strength in Gods power.

Zac can be amazing, A new trail in God blazing

What a blessing you all are, when seen from afar.

Now my desert journey is at an end, into this new world, you I send

Mth 10:11-20

So now I send you out, for you know what life’s about.

As you travel on, see Gods blessing come upon.

Those who believe you, though some will refuse to.

In fact some are real bad news, seek to destroy and abuse.

But you must help even them believe. By the words of God you receive.

Ps. 49.

Listen all you people, you think you are so feeble.

The rich think they are strong, but they will be proved wrong.

They boasts in riches they now make, yet to the next world never can take.

But l have no such fear, l will forever remain in the Lords care.

They may boast in their pride, but it all means nothing when they have died.

Prov. 12:20-22

If deceit fills a heart, they will never know God, right from the start

Deut. 30-32

The choice will always be yours, God will open or shut doors.

According to how you behave, he will destroy or he will save.

Sooner or later you will break the law, but the Lord will restore, giving much more.

When you return to him, who you have always believed in.

He will totally change your heart, as you make a brand new start.

There will be joy in heaven, when you return to the God you believe in.

You can choose life, or you can choose strife.

Just make up your mind, if God you are to find.

The rich blessings God has for you, as your enemies he will subdue.

A new leader now to lead the way, for the old must give way.

So courageously go out, you must have no doubt.

Knowing the Lord can give victory, he will never abandon me.

As I write this poem, l want it in the future to be known.

That l already can see, what a failure you will be.

For though to the faith you belong. We have always continued to do wrong.

But then when you take stock, you will realise the Lord has been you rock.

What a fool l have been, after the goodness of God I have seen.

Thinking it was really me, my strength that made me free.

Turning away, to the idols of the day.

What a fool l am. Such a despicable man.

Mth. 10:1-10

But then Jesus called his disciples to him, told them how they could win,

With nothing of their own, He will make his power known.

To heal and restore, those who have known the power of God before

Ps. 62

I wait quietly before the Lord. He is my rock who others have ignored.

I so often feel so weak, but it is the Lord I always seek.

I want it to be always known, victory comes from him alone.

Every day it is in my mind, in him alone hope l can find.

Prov. 12:18-19

Cutting remarks hurt and steal, From truth comes wisdom to heal.

May 11

Deut 28-29

If we fully obey, blessing will come our way.

If disobedient In what I do, turning away from the Jesus I knew.

What disaster l will see, totally surrounding me.

Others will see and know why, you suffered and nearly did die.

But you should always remember , how God protected you in each dilemma.

Know he alone knows, the future and its woes

Mth. 9;27-38

When cry to Lord I cannot see, he open the eyes of the blind like me.

When I am disturbed I find, in Jesus my peace of mind.

Others might deride and scorn, but in him my hope has been reborn.

When Christ sees confusion everywhere. There are so few who really care.

Says ask and I will send you. You will be amazed at what you could do.

Ps 57

Have mercy Lord on me, as l from my troubles flee.

Send help from heaven to rescue, for l have landed in quite a stew.

As I upon you call, l pray your name be exalted, above all.

Though I feel so trapped in what I do, my confidence will be, always in you.

I will praise you all my days, for marvelous are your ways.

Prov. 12:15-27

Fools always think they are right and are quick tempered. The righteous just Gods goodness have remembered.

May 10 Sunday

Ps 91. Prov. 3:5-6. Jere. 17:7-8

For in my Lord I trust, through the boom and bust.

He makes me feel free, in him l know I have, safety.

Not what I’m prone to think, when my heart does sink.

For when l follow after him, who my total trust is in.

I’m like a fruitful tree, that through drought will confidently.

Draws from Gods river, knowing God will deliver.

In drought l have no fear, for I know the Lord is right there.

My tree leaves always green, new fruit to be seen.

For my God is not at all mean, he knows where I have been.

May 9

Deut. 25-27

Judgment of your brothers crime. Must not humiliate at the same time.

Be kind to animals in their work. Fulfil family duty and do not shirk.

Argue politely in societies view. Give to others what is due.

Remember who are your enemies. Bless the Lord who gave you release.

Then you can now celebrate. For the Lord you know controls your fate.

As long as you obey, All that you hear what Gods word does say.

You are the people of the Lord, his commands just cannot be ignored.

Then praise and honour comes because of what you do. But always remember Gods promise to you.

It will be loudly shouted out, so there will be no doubt.

What you should always do, what God does ask of you.

Mth. 9:14-26

You don’t need to feel or look so sad, for the Lord has made you glad.

For now you have new wine, the old skin is no longer fine.

So when you plead publicly, or when come to him privately.

The Lord sees faith so now he will. Raise from death or heal when ill.

Then Jesus will suddenly become, known by each and everyone.

Ps. 44:17-26

Lord you see what has happened to me, Why aren’t l from all worries free.

My heart has never deserted you. Surely you know that too.

So why do I feel l must, be mourning in the dirt and dust.

Help me to rise above, when I see your amazing love

Prov. 12:12-24

To behave like a thief, brings failure not relief.

May 21

Judges. 7-9:33

Amazing what you can do, when in faith you do what God tells you too.

But first you must learn, it is in weakness victory you earn.

It will seem completely odd, so you know it has to be God.

That gives you the victory, over your biggest enemy.

Then when you come home, let it be known,

You don’t worship any other idol, that might feel cool to follow

So when you finally die, your old town will be deceived by that lie.

For revolt will then come, that ends up destroying everyone.

Mth. 12:15-21

Jesus himself did not proclaim, his true power or fame.

But quietly went on his way, His compassion and healing on display.

Just as scripture had told, in humility he was bold.

He caused justice to overcome, Now victorious can be everyone.

Ps. 129

What disaster my life has been, from my youth it would seem.

But the Lord is good, he has rescued me from where I stood.

Lord though enemy would like to defeat, overcome him as l sit at your feet.

Prov. 13:9-10

Life of godly full of light and joy, while the wicked think proudly God can’t destroy.

May 8

Deut. 22-24

Act responsibly , now you are free.

in your life, help those in strife.

Giving back, to those who lack

Pure and true in all you do.

Worshiping every day, in a proper way.

Protecting those, that others oppose.

When men abuse, careful who you accuse.

Borrow and repay, do what you say.

Don’t be miserable, with anything at all

Mth 9:1-13

When Jesus comes in, and forgives sin.

Seems so wrong , that to him they belong.

But then you see. them acting so free.

For this is his purpose, To free men from the curse.

Ps. 44:9-16

I have been tossed aside, others deride.

In everybody’s views, I am just bad news.

Everything l fear, is all that I hear.

Prov. 12:10-11

Just do what is right, in Gods, not man’s sight.

May 7

Deut. 18-21

The Lord directs your days. In very specific ways.

The spiritual leaders he chose. You must seperate all of those,

As they are called to lead, you should supply all their need.

Don’t go anywhere near, those who our God don’t fear.

Though for those far away, your judgment you should delay.

Listen to the prophet who will come. But beware of the deceitful one.

Even if some of you kill, there is a place of safety still.

Where you can judge, if the truth they really did fudge.

In life’s battles do not be afraid. If distracted the struggle should be delayed.

Recognise the right, of the first born in Gods sight.

Cleanse those from all of you, when Gods purpose they refuse to do.

But destroying all of those, who deliberately oppose.

That they don’t defile the land, on which God gives you to stand.

Mth. 8:18-34

To follow Jesus when feel lost, realise there is a substantial cost.

You may have to face a storm, Don’t be afraid for you are new born.

So now you can see. God work so amazingly.

But it will be all just too much, for those who God’s work, are out of touch.

Ps. 44:1-8

Lord as I hear stories being told. Of the saints of old.

They too were only men. It was your power in them.

They were not strong at all, they just answered to your call.

Help me to know that power, that my faith will blossom and flower.

Prov. 12:7-9

The wicked have had there day, now the humble will have their say.

may 6

Deut. 14-17.

You are to act holy, and not for yourself solely.

As a child of your Father in heaven, you must share your wealth with him.

With all the good things he gives you. Honouring him in all you do.

Then you will see success, as your Father does even more bless.

In the land you will occupy, where you will live and will die.

You must also to God tithe, as well as help the poor to survive.

Remembering the times of Lord’s provision, showing you are in submission

To him on which your faith is founded, is always seen to be honoured.

There will be times to celebrate. Acknowledging God controlled your fate.

Always prepared for the test, to see if we’re doing our very best.

For to the Lord we belong, he will help us overcome the wrong.

He is never far. Wherever we are.

Mth 8:1-17

Lord I know you could if willing, all my hopes and dreams be filling.

In faith l can see. You heal and set all men free.

From the diseased, to my worker, In my own home,you are the healer.

Ps. 37:32-40

The wickedness of late, seems to control the world’s fate.

But I will not be in need, as I follow my Lords lead.

For while the wicked hopes prove hollow, I am blessed by the God I follow.

Prov. 12:4:6

With wicked as a companion , trouble you will land in.

May 5

Deut. 11-13

Love the Lord your God in all you do. Then he will look after you.

Remember your children have not seen, everywhere you have been.

Teach them all of my ways , everything the bible says.

So when they go into their land, they will firmly in faith stand.

Going to church to worship the Lord, where his sacrifice is not ignored.

You will see wherever you live, how much the Lord does give.

Where now you struggle and toil, Gods garden has fruitful soil

Hold fast to what you believe , don’t let the false prophets deceive.

Show love to God in all of your days. By walking only in his ways.

Curse or blessing is your choice, when you hear his voice.

Speak it to all that are near, that it is the Lord alone you fear.

Worship will be different in this place, As you live out your last days.

Your special offering bring, as your Lord you are worshiping.

From all forms of idolatry, you must always flee.

Destroying all of those, who deliberately oppose.

Mth 7:15-29

You can judge a tree, by the fruit you see.

A good tree produces fruit, that doesn’t scripture dilute.

Just the same with the people you see. Are they bowing the knee.

For some who come to the Lord. Have the truth ignored.

They have built on land, Not on rock but on sand.

When storms and rain come, it will be seen what they have done.

Only Jesus has authority, come look and you will see.

Ps. 37:25-31

Once l was young now l am old, Always seen blessing when do what I’m told.

In all things to generously give, wherever you may live.

To teach what is good, in your neighbourhood.

Prov. 12:1-3

Gods discipline produces fruit., and the godly have a deep root
