1 Sam. 27-31

What disaster it seems, yet the Lord will bring about the means.

To restore Gods kingdom, and bring about freedom.

For those who in the Lord in essence, deserve to be in Gods presence.

Despite what did appear , that are men full of fear.

God proved beyond doubt , he knew would he was about.

Though death all around, my hope does rebound.

The Lord delivers me, while others seek desperately.

Though struggles are mine, my God who is divine.

Will rescue even me, despite what others see.

Mth 24:15-26

Disaster will come, for just about everyone.

All filled with despair. Flee in great fear.

But the Lord says, I will shorten those days.

Do not listen to. those who would deceive you.

Jesus gives warning, as you wait for a new day dawning.

Ps. 102:12-17

For you Lord sit on your throne. Your will Lord will become known.

Arise Lord have mercy, from all my afflictions set free.

That as live in accord, to the ways of the Lord.

All men will see, and tremble before thee.

Prov. 17:7-10

Eloquent words are not fitting for a fool. It’s love in action that is Gods tool.

July 2

1 Sam. 24-26

Even though, my life is full of woe.

That even those God anointed , has so badly disappointed.

I refuse to kill, the Lords man still.

I have had to flee, though power was given to me.

Finally he replies , as he did recognise.

That he could no longer oppose, the direction God now chose.

Then as I moved on, I had power to deliver death upon.

Vengeance they said now that you are strong, and felt l had been done a wrong.

But Abigail prevailed , when she detailed.

How mercy always does win. That vengeance is as a sin.

Mercy belongs to those. Who evil in their family oppose.

Mth. 24:1-14

The edifices of men you now see, Jesus says will be, destroyed completely.

Many will come and say, this is Gods and my day.

But do not receive, for they do deceive.

Though they come against you , because of what you do.

The good news will spread , the spiritually hungry fed.

Ps. 102:1-11

Lord please come help me, for the whole world can see.

The trouble I’m in,, my heart fails within.

Money is my master, and it is a disaster.

My friends who l relied apon, have long since gone.

I know I always moan , but when will your blessing be shown?.

Prov. 17:4-6

Wrongdoers love to mock. Good men Gods blessing unlock.

July 1

Those who think you are a threat, before your destiny you have met.

Are determined to kill, what God has ordained you to fulfil.

To escape you run away, for it is not yet your day.

Though you still have a mate, who refuses to be filled with hate.

Even Gods elected , are sadly effected.

While family and those, who this world do oppose.

Gather around you . To support what you do.

In this desert place, you still have to face.

The king who would kill, who is enraged with you still.

As you go and hide away. The Lord protects your every day

As you live in that stronghold, becoming more and more bold.

Mth. 23:23-39

What disaster awaits those, who Gods true purpose oppose.

So concerned with doing what’s right. They completely miss sight.

Of what God is doing now, And absolutely refuse to bow.

Just hypocrites they are, Gods purpose they mar.

Oh how sad it all is. That Gods destiny they miss.

But there will come a day, when they will see, The Lord have his way.

Ps. 98

To the Lord I will sing a new song, He blesses and now makes me feel strong.

For at last l have come to see , how he gives me each new victory.

My whole world will praise the day. When they see the Lord have his way.

Prov. 17:1-3

Purity of the heart, like horse before the cart.

June. 30

1Sam18-20

Here I see, that God is with me.

For his Son is my friend, who always will defend.

And defies, those defamatory lies.

When my world would kill, Jesus shows he is with me still.

Amazing it is, that he gave up that world of his.

So that I could escape. A rebellious one’s fate.

Mth. 23:13-22

How blind you Pharisees are, see only Gods will from afar.

Sorrow awaits you, though so proud of what you do.

What you concentrate on, is so completely wrong.

As you try too, teach others to follow you.

Ps. 95

I cling to the Rock who to date, has rescued me from from a sinners fate.

Though he is so great, he treats me like a best mate.

I just love to worship him, who my only hope is in.

Despite where I came from. He sees me as though done no wrong.

Prov. 15:31-33

God’s glory I seek. Just be patient and meek.

June 29

When our leader disappoints, my God another anoints.

One who right from the start, is shown to have a good heart.

Just humble beginnings. Yet still good at most things.

Used initially just to sing , a calming spirit to bring.

Then when he saw the power of his Lord. Was ridiculed and totally ignored.

Bravely did proclaim, there is power in the Lord’s name.

Then the giant who was defiant, faced the one who on God was reliant.

The giant he then killed, Gods word was fulfilled.

Total victory now came , Glory to our Saviours name.

Mth. 23:1-12

See those leaders, who constantly need us.

To honour them. Above all other men.

Beware, they don’t really care.

It is just all for show. You must only honour the Father you know.

For the humble God will exalt, they are seen not at fault.

Ps. 64

Lord it always seems, my enemy has the means.

To pull me down. Make me feel like a clown.

But time and again, their threat is in vain.

As you rescue me, for the whole world to see.

I will raise my voice, in the Lord I will rejoice.

Prov. 16:27-30

Scoundrels trouble cause, without a pause.

June 28 Sunday

Mth 5:7. Ps 103:8:18. 1Peter. 1:3

The merciful , God’s will fulfil.

They will be then, blessed among men.

For God is so merciful too, constantly blesses you,

Even giving you . A good mate called Sue.

Despite who we are, so weak failed by far.

Our sins he does ignore, Gives us so much more.

In this life I’m in. As I obey him.

Lord just as you have been praised in my life, my sin has been cut with a sharp knife.

I have this great expectation. Makes me go on in determination.

June 27

1Sam:14-15

One day when I did see, the enemy in front of me.

But I had come to know, if l attacked the Lord would bring them low.

So a supporter and I , climbed up high.

To defeat the enemy, that so arrogantly opposed me.

Then the leader said, you must not be fed.

While the battle is on, so all my energy was gone.

Then victorious everywhere. Brave without fear.

I kept some, of what I had won.

Thinking my sacrifice, would suffice.

When obedience was called for. Gods commands you cannot ignore.

Mth. 22:34-36

There is no doubt what is important to do. To love and fear God and do good to the neighbours to you.

But who is your king. Who is above everything.

Even your faith hero. Says for Jesus I am below.

Ps. 59:9-17

Lord you are in the end my strength, you will go to any length.

To show my enemies, how the love of God frees.

Though powerful they may seem. I know what you have always been.

My Saviour and my Lord, you are to be adored.

Prov. 16:23-26

The words of the wise, encourage true desires.

June 26

1Sam. 11-13

While we see our world in disaster, who do we look to as our master.

For Christ has been our King, he has given us everything.

But the earthly king you desire, will lead you into ugly mire.

God may give victory to him, who now you put your total faith in.

But when trouble really comes, seems you are the only ones.

Then you must be still, For God his purpose to fulfil.

For it is your heart, God will test , right from the start.

Mth. 22:23-33

So often our faith restricted by our world view, it governs what we think and what we do.

But Jesus sees all things, that a far greater faith brings.

What you think is cool, only shows you as a fool.

Ps. 59:1-8

Lord you are my only hope. Please come and help me cope.

For l am surrounded by the enemy. No fault of mine as far as I can see.

Arise Lord from heaven come. The only hope for everyone. .

Prov. 16:20-22

Prosperous are those who follow the Lords instruction. Fools go on their way to destruction.

June 25

1Sam. 8:10

Why do people of God want a king. Who will in the long term only bring.

Oppression and abuse, so turn out to be bad news.

Though God will still lead to. The man who will lead you.

Though small in his and the world’s eyes. The prophet revealed him as king much to his surprise.

Though felt totally unfit, people acclaimed said they would submit.

Mth. 22:15-22

There will always be those, who deliberately oppose.

Try to incriminate you. By what you say and do.

But the answer you must give, proves in you God’s Spirit does live.

Much to their surprise. Their argument just dies.

Ps. 21

Amazing my King, honour to him I bring. He supplies everything.

Prov. 16:16-19

The more important to you, should be Gods wisdom in all you do.

June 24

1Sam 4-7

When disaster does come. The battle not won.

The Lord still has a plan, to rescue man.

That even those , who used to oppose.

Now come to recognise, much to our surprise.

With a Samuel to lead, God fulfils all of our need.

Peace is now ours, all recognise Gods powers.

Mth 22:1-14

They turn the invite away, as too busy on that day.

Jesus tells the story, where we are invited to share Gods glory.

Then invited are those, when Jesus they chose.

For only they could stay in, Gods holy kingdom.

Ps. 17

Lord I call to you, in everything I do.

I try my very best, please come give me rest.

I have always tried to follow you. Protect me now in all I do.

Though they would destroy me. From all my troubles set me free.

Prov. 16:12-15

My King wrongdoing does detest. He wants for me the very best.
