Judges 16-19:15

A litany of disaster , because there was no king and master.

Samson seduced, finally reduced.

To a prisoner entertaining , though his strength remaining.

Micah with his idol. Belief became hollow.

Until overcome, with the more powerful one.

Levite on the sideline. Then with double mind.

All because they had no king. To rule them in everything.

Mth. 13-1-19

The sower with the seed, to meet our every need.

Some where men trod feet, for birds to eat.

Some where soil shallow, growth would not allow.

Some amoung thorn, desperate and forlorn .

Some on fertile land, it would meet the demand.

All should listen, if they are to fulfill their mission.

Ps. 45

I will write of my King. He is my everything.

He can overcome , troubles of everyone.

Issues I face, in these troubling days.

How beautiful the sight, of his power and his might.

Priv. 13:13-16

The wisdom of the wise, never ignore or despise.

May 24

Leviticus 23:15-22

The festival of harvest when, give to God from our garden.

A particular time, when I recognise all that is mine.

Are gifts sent from God above, his provision given in love.

Remember also it is for, the destitute and the poor.

John 14:15-18

The promise of the Lord. Enabling you to live in accord.

An Advocate that will lead you. In God’s truth in all you do.

He will never abandon. but comes to live within.

Acts 2:1-18

The day of Pentecost came, powerfully swept through like a flame.

God worked though all of us, caused a sensation quite a fuss.

For God then amazingly, spoke through the likes of me.

For right there and then, I could talk to all types of different men.

It seemed so very odd. For they too heard the promise of God.

Though some did doubt, what it was all about.

May 23

Judges. 12-15

Jealousy in believers causes death and division. All because they did not catch my own vision.

Then God continues to raise, gifted leaders in those days.

Until evil again oppressed them uh. The Lord suddenly appeared to a woman.

Her son Samson was born in a special way, acknowledging Gods power on display.

He now looked to pick a fight, because of Delilah his particular delight.

Leading to Samson going to great lengths. To destroy the enemy with God given strengths.

Mth 12:38-50

Jesus asks why need a gift or a sign, to show you are especially mine.

Only the evil at heart. Want themselves to be proved smart.

But then when no longer so cool, they will be proved an ignorant fool.

For the true family of our saviour Jesus, doesn’t claim special rights for him to please us.

For his own family will just kneel and obey. In everything they do everyday.

Ps. 47

Come everyone and clap your hands, to our God who over the whole world stands.

For in this life of ours here below, The God of heaven and earth we have come to know.

The Jesus who to heaven ascended, The kings of this world are now depended.

On Jesus who had come long before, but now they just choose to ignore.

Prov. 13:11-12

Deferred hope, Dreams all gone, a slippery slope.

May 22

Judges 9:34-11:40

With division and scorn, about how you were born.

Rebellious are destroyed, when the woke town gets annoyed.

Disaster all around, good man can’t be found.

Until many get killed, see the prophecy is fulfilled.

Then the son that was thrown out, rescued those who were full of doubt.

But he had made a foolish vow, that saddened him now.

Mth 12:22:37

When the Lord casts demons out, unbelievers cast seeds of doubt.

About how he does this. For they completely miss.

The victory that can be done, Say he must be the evil one.

But you must stand and say no way. I have found Jesus the one true way.

Ps 97

The Lord is King. , we rejoice and sing.

Because of all he does, for the likes of us.

Amazing to see , how he always provides for me.

With blessing from above, with such power and love.

Prov 20:25

Yesterday’s rash promise or vow, can be a problem for you now.

May 20

Judg 4-6

Life is a constant battle, confidence in God it does rattle.

When turn away from God again, then life becomes a pain.

God brings Deb’s along, reveals all that is wrong.

Leads then encourages to fight, the enemy that is so big in my sight.

I say if only you, go into battle with me too.

It is women God then uses to defeat, The huge enemy troop we meet,

Amazed we sing a song, to our God who has helped us all along.

Victory he gave to Deb and me, freed us from the worlds worry.

But then NZ falls away, worships the god of the day.

Feel defeated and so weak, lost the blessing of the God we seek.

But Gods word says, to me you belong , you are not weak, but you are strong.

Just seems too hard to believe, that a weak man like me can receive.

Gods power to overcome, the enemy who oppresses everyone.

But the cross is my sign, victory can be mine.

Once I decide to crush, those idols that surround us.

I will be seen to be fine, that victory can be mine.

Mth. 12:1-14

The religious accuse me of breaking the law, but their own failures they totally ignore.

Despite knowing that heroes of theirs, I had realised God never cares

About us breaking some religious law, for healing of the sick means so much.

Don’t worry about what the religious say. Even though they hate you on the day.

Ps. 93.

The Lord is mighty and strong. Nothing in the end can go wrong.

He will always protect me, despite the problems I do see.

His purpose will never, be defeated, for he reigns forever

Prov. 13:7-8

Whether rich or poor, Jesus can give us so much more.

May 18

Judges. 1-3

God gives victory over the land, when you make a stand.

Strong in the strength he will give, Defeating the enemies who there live.

If weak and you fail to do, they will end up conquering you.

Until God raises up a new man, who leads to victory as only God can.

But again you fall away, forgetting what the Lord did say.

Until finally again in despair, you cry to the Lord in fear.

The Lord says I allowed this to see, if you still had faith to defeat the enemy.

However because history proved this not the case, forever you will have to face.

The enemy one by one, so each know only with God you overcome.

Mth 11;20-30

How blessed we are yet we have been, unfaithful the Lord he has seen.

Yet you don’t seem to realise, just how much God does this despise.

Your unfaithfulness even when he did bless, that in your riches you need to confess.

For though you appear so wealthy and strong, it is the weak that so often to the Lord belong.

For Jesus has entrusted to us, what is far more glorious.

So put on the yoke he gives you, and be surprised how easy Gods work is to do.

Ps. 88:9-18

Oh Lord what a disaster life seems to be, please again come rescue me.

Prov. 13:4-6

It may seem like hard work, but godliness don’t shirk.

May 18

Ruth. 1-4

Caught in a drought, so go wandering about.

Ends in despair, feel God doesn’t care.

Yet there is one, who likes what I’ve done.

Return to my home, where my disaster is known.

Then at the harvest, we are given the best.

For my redeemer is there, I am under his care.

Then when I approach, says listen and I will coach.

And you will then see, you can become family.

That your children will too, be redeemed just like you.

For your family tree, will glorify me.

Mth. 11:1-19

I’m in prison these days, l have heard of Jesus’s ways.

But does not see right , from my prison site.

But then they come to tell, Gods kingdom is doing well.

That in my own time, l did just fine.

Even though, many did not know.

For judging Jesus and me, saw such a discrepancy.

But it is the fruit that each display, That shows Gods eternal way.

Ps. 88:1-9

What a disaster I feel, to my God I appeal.

l cannot cope, have given up all hope.

Am as good as dead, as l lie on my bed.

No friends to console, our dig me from this hole.

Lord l appeal to you, my only hope in view.

Prov. 13:1-3

Careful what you do, then God can renew you.

May 17 Sunday

Esther 4:9-5:3 Mth 11:28 Heb 4:14-16

We are with our King, who is powerful and can do anything.

Am I too scared to ask, to help for such an impossible task.

But perhaps the Lord knows me, and he now wants to see.

Do I have the faith to fast and pray. To see if he will save the day.

I then went into my King, said Lord will you help me with this thing.

Amazingly he then replied , anything you ask won’t be denied.

Mth. 11:28

Jesus said if weary with burdens all you need to do, is come to me and I will help you out of your stew.

Heb 4;14-16

We have a High Priest Jesus is his name. He is now in heaven but when on earth suffered the same.

Though we feel so weak, he understands so him we should seek.

So let us come boldly to his throne, and let our request to him be known.

Then we will come to see, his amazing love and mercy.

May 16. today

2Peter. 1-3

The faithful in faith grow, the more that they do know

That he gives us everything, when our lives are him honouring.

So Gods commands we obey, as we live out each day.

Moral, truth knowing , with self control, always enduring, and with love , Obedient to God above.

Work hard at these each and every day. Then your faith will grow, for I must go on my way.

Today you can be so bold. Not just because prophets of old.

But because of what was revealed to me, You can live confidently.

Not believing all those, who Gods word deliberately oppose.

Who he will destroy, while we will always enjoy.

Gods provision in every way, while their world collapses in disarray

Truth they use to know, but their life now full of woe.

For the rebellion from Gods ways, shows we are in the last days

This world cannot avoid, being totally destroyed.

All these things you should know. So let your faith in God grow.

Mth. 10:32-42

When we acknowledge Jesus publicly, his deliverance we will see.

But if God we deny, our faith will eventually die.

Even when it means, we lose those close to us it seems.

If you refuse to take up your cross, great will be your real loss.

Gods servants receive reward, And you too will get an award,

Ps. 18;30-50

Gods ways are perfect his promises true, I have seen it constantly in all that I do.

When the enemy came to fight, God gave me victory, to my hearts delight.

My God l will praise, all of my days.

Prov. 12:25-28

Worry weighs down, cheerfulness lifts up. Godliness your faith grows, but laziness it will stop.

May 15

1Peter 1-5

God chose you from afar, making you a star.

Through the blood of Jesus, he has now cleansed us.

So priceless his gift is, this salvation of his.

Though his face I cannot now see. One day I will be with him eternally.

He has been talked about for years, how he takes care of all my fears.

So wonderful for me to see, so now as Gods child I want to be.

Holy just like him, in the life on earth I live in.

For it was such a heavy price. not gold but Jesus’s sacrifice.

Just as love was shown to you, now show love to God and other people in what you do.

You must be seen to never, disobey Gods word that lives forever.

For Christ is the living stone, who has made the truth known.

Though the world did reject him, he is the rock I put all hope in.

Some stumble and fall, but you must answer Gods call.

So then people will begin to say. God is seen in him today.

Free yet one who behaves, knowing we are Gods slaves.

Paid for a heavy price, so we could now look nice.

As we treat our family, well, wherever they may be.

As well as a christian brother, you must love one another

Turning from evil and gossip. as Jesus you join to worship.

Though they may speak against you, Keep Christ in your mind view.

For his main mission, is to bless and save those who will listen.

Though it won’t all be rosy. or suffering free.

As you the rulers you need to obey, in this their last day

This will be your story. As the Lord comes in all his glory.

Mth 10:21-31

Their will come a day, when your closes will betray,

That they have no faith in you, because of what you do.

It is what you must expect, Jesus had the exact same effect.

What he now tells you in secret, must shout allowed you believe it.

Though a heavy price may be paid, do not be afraid.

For God will protect you, though just small in the world’s view.

Ps. 18:1-29

I love you Lord for you first loved me, Helped me overcome the enemy.

Though all seemed lost, you came an paid the cost.

What an amazing sight, the earth shook as all evil took flight.

When l did determine , to only serve him.

Prov. 12:23-24

The wise know how to behave. The fools to the world become a slave
