Jere. 1-3

The words of Jeremiah.

Speak of Gods people’s desire.

To constantly seek gods.

That are totally at odds.

With worshiping only him.

Who our salvation is in.

How desperate are we.

As we look around and see.

Those all around

In sin are bound.

Yet even when.

We are like them

The Lord will deploy.

An enemy to destroy.

All that we hold dear

For it is God we should fear.

God says won’t you listen to me.

Again l can set you free.

Yet even though you hear this.

You don’t seek righteousness.

Doing what you have always done.

Mixing with the ungodly one.

Not able to ever return.

And from your failings learn.

Yet my Lord is still

Faithful and merciful.

If you come and confess.

The Lord will still bless.

You can have a new start.

With leaders with his heart.

A place where Gods throne

Is recognised and known.

But we should always recognise.

How once we did despise.

The word of the Lord.

That we continually ignored.

Lk 20:20-26

Religious self-righteous men.

Will once again then.

Try to trick you.

Landing you in a stew.

For really they you despise.

But in the Lord you can be wise.

For there is power in his name.

They go away in total shame.

Ps. 55:12-23

It is friends not the enemy.

Who I have come against me.

Would snuff out my candle.

Lord it is so hard to handle.

But as l confess

The Lord answers my distress.

Despite what they say.

His love is on display.

Prov. 8;19-21

Better than gold God does bless us.

He has overflowing treasures.

March 23

Hosea. 11-14

The Lord has always loved me.

As anyone can see.

But l stumble and fall.

Refuse to be obedient to my call.

Worshiping false gods.

That put me totally at odds.

For his purpose for my life.

And led to such constant strife.

Yet he kept on rescuing me.

Just as in history.

I know how my forbears.

Had their own fears.

Lord you have always been there

And we have been under your care

Now if we again repent.

Trust in the Lord who you sent.

Gods love will know no bounds.

Impossible as that sounds.

His paths are true and right.

l am righteous in his sight.

Lk. 20:1-19

People come questioning

That you might be suggesting.

That you have Gods authority.

But they will never really see.

For if I ask of them

Have you ever really been

Into Catholic worship

They curl up their lip.

Just as Gods servants came.

They had excuses that were lame.

When all was said and done.

Not really honouring the Son

Ps. 55:1-11

Oh God how I need you.

In everything l do.

Everything seems against me.

No future can l now see.

Everything is falling apart.

I am starting to lose heart.

Prov. 8:17-18

I Love those who love me.

It is just so good to see.

A walk in the garden

March 22. Sunday. Thirsty

Ex 17:1-7

We come and complain

Why won’t God explain.

Why we have to face

Living in a desert place.

To the Lord I called.

I just felt so ignored.

When l was so dry and thirsty.

He struck the rock just for me

Is. 44/3

Spring of water God did give.

Everything l needed to live.

And poured his Spirit upon.

My family and my children.

Jon. 7:37:41

The Lord cries with a shout.

So there should be no doubt.

Living water he does supply.

So we will never die.

He will supply all I need.

Come Holy Spirit come and lead.

A walk in the garden

March 21

When will we learn

To the Lord we must return.

As to sin we are bound.

There is disaster all around.

Lk. 19:41-48

How sad Jesus does feel.

For sin our fate does seal

For he leaves no doubt.

Evil must be cast out.

The self- righteous refuse to.

But Jesus I listen to you.

Ps. 13

How long Lord will you forget me.

I wish to serve you impeccable

Wherever I choose to stand.

The enemy has the upper hand

I can only trust in God above.

His compassion and his love.

Prov. 8:14-16

Commonsense in the Lord

Then wisdom cannot be ignored

A walk in the garden

march 19

God uses a disaster.

How we love as master.

To illustrated our downfall.

From where he did call.

Yet even then.

Seem overtaken when.

In desperation we call.

Help us as we fall.

Forgive though all see.

How just so obviously.

We have have left you

Our God comes to renew.

His covenant to again bless.

Take us out of this mess

Lk19:22-40

The very thing that you fear.

As come upon you right here.

As the faithful and true.

Take what was for you.

Then as I journeyed on.

Humbly a donkey sat on.

All those who were near.

Let out a loud cheer.

Ps. 116:12-19

What can l offer to the Lord.

When weak and cannot afford

Except to promise him.

Who l have faith in.

As l come to him meekly.

For he cares so deeply.

Prov. 8:10-13

Lord says now choose me.

And l will set you free.

march 19

Rev. 19-22

We all came together

To praise the Lord forever.

Victory in his name.

Victorious we became.

As saw who he really is.

We sung out his praises.

To witness in white.

In all the people’s sight.

Amazed how he came.

Held those who were to blame.

For killing with the sword.

Those who testified Jesus is Lord.

Then satan cast into prison

For a thousand years now listen

As our Lord reigns.

Takes away sins stains.

Then the enemy was released.

Man again did what they pleased.

Until that final day.

When the Lord had his way.

And he made a glorious place.

All ugliness he did displace

An an amazing river did appear.

For we were now under Gods care.

How blessed are we.

All evil has to flee.

No longer satan can stalk.

As with God we now walk.

In the glory of the Lord.

Who everybody adored.

Come Lord Jesus come

May your eternal purpose be done.

Lk. 19:1-21

From a bush I watch for him.

He calls I want. to come in.

Others thought a disgrace.

That he would enter my place.

Jesus said salvation has now come.

To the astonishment of everyone.

So I will now give.

In everyway I do live.

For though Jesus may leave.

I will always believe.

For he will now give.

Talents with which to live.

So when he comes back as King.

He sees if you have done anything

To to ask each of you.

Did you give what is due.

Then to banish in disgrace.

Those protecting their own space.

Ps. 116:1-11

The Lord l know hears my voice.

I love him it is my only choice.

For I everyday do see

All that he does for me.

Yet I see trouble and terror.

Seem to have problems forever.

Lord I cried out to you.

Help me in all that I do.

Prov. 8:8-8

The good news is always the same.

Its wisdom is just so plain.

A walk in the garden

march 18

Rev. 15-18

Angels from heaven came.

To judge earth in Gods name.

Yet even then under Gods care.

Children of God were there.

Praising and singing a song.

To the God that they did belong.

While the world now suffered

From plagues never recovered

For Kings had no longer obeyed.

Gods wrath no longer delayed.

For just and holy is he.

From Gods presence the rich flee

While we must always watch out.

Jesus is coming there’s no doubt.

The mighty battle is won.

As Gods kingdom does come.

Destruction comes on the world.

As demons and all evil are hurled.

Into the lake of fire.

With those the world did admire.

But those God chose will know.

Though world seems full of woe.

Gods purpose will still be clear.

As the word of God they do hear.

While those that seem so strong

Continued to do what is wrong.

Lk. 18:19-43

The rich man did ask.

How can in Gods presence I bask.

But when heard what Jesus said.

His faith in Jesus proved dead.

Jesus told where he would go.

To Jerusalem why we yet to know

But the blind cried out help me.

Jesus said faith made you see.

Ps. 19.

We all have no excuse.

For the earth helps us to deduce.

How good our heavenly father is.

It really is impossible to miss.

So must totally follow him.

Put my every effort in

So that I can be a part.

In the meditation of my heart.

Prov. 8;6-7

Listen to God without exception.

Everything else is deception

A walk in the garden

march 17

Rev. 10-14

John saw an angel with a scroll.

That would forever tell it all.

Yet still l had to keep secret.

Who in the end would be defeated.

For there would be no more delay.

For the Lord to have his way.

Though sweet as honey.

Gave me a really sick tummy

Yet as even as I go and measure.

What I see gives God pleasure.

His two servants now proclaim.

There is power in his name

Then they seem to die.

The world watches where they lie.

Then to their horror and shame.

Those men are raised again.

As the whole earth was shaken.

Because the Lord they had forsaken

For Gods eternal kingdom

Was finally seen to have won.

They worshiped Gods great power.

In that final hour.

For they saw inside.

Where their God did abide.

Now the church gave birth.

Right here on planet earth.

Though even then had to face.

The enemy invade her space.

But finally it would come at last.

The disasters were in the past.

There would be still be a fight

Though seemingly out of sight.

For then we would not see.

The devil try to deceive me.

As he would treat with disdain

Any power not in his name.

For all that wore his sign.

He said would now be fine.

Those the beast believed.

Showed they were deceived.

With wisdom you tell what’s lies.

You must be especially wise.

For there will be those.

Who stand up and oppose

But you proclaim good news

Giving our God his dues.

Now that Babylon is fallen.

God is once again calling

For it is now harvest time

To receive that reward of mine.

Lk. 18:1-17

We must persevere and always ask.

God to help with every task.

Knowing despite the way we live.

We ask our God to forgive.

Just like the little child we see.

Just come to Jesus humbly.

Ps. 11

Trust in the Lord and his promise.

For all the world is really his.

Despite what I might now see.

He is right there with me.

Prov. 8:4-5

God calls to us all.

That nobody should ever fall.

A walk in the garden

march 16

Rev. 5-9

There will come. a day.

When the Lord will have his say.

For he only will have the right.

In all of his followers sight.

To break open the seal.

That will our future reveal.

Each disaster that is to come. .

The fate of everyone.

For worthy is the Lamb.

That was slain for every man.

Blessing and honour glory and power.

To him who was raised up for this hour.

For many battles of war

No peace like there was before.

Then came a terrible famine.

Followed by disease many die in.

Satisfying all who were martyred

From this world’s life had parted.

White robes were now given.

While waiting for those still living.

The world we knew destroyed.

By Gods angels that were deployed.

To save and to protect.

The people God did elect.

For we all will see Gods salvation.

From every tribe and nation.

For blessing honour and wisdom.

And power and strength is in him.

For those that once were sad

Forever they will be glad.

For in that moment of silence

Prayers rose up like incense.

As the world to we did belong

God destroyed all the wrong.

The people filled with dispair.

They’re now filled with fear

For the army of the Lord.

Could no longer be ignored.

Lk. 17:20-27

When will this happen you ask.

Relax just go about your task.

For nobody knows just when.

He’ll suddenly appear before men

Those selected will know.

While the others left below.

Yet Gods kingdom is right here.

Christ has always quite near.

You never need to mind.

Your future sealed and signed

Ps. 115

Not to us Lord, you have the glory

The worlds tells a foolish story.

Your unfailing faithfulness

Is always there with us.

May all my children.

Praise you also when.

They learn to follow you.

May their faith then renew.

Prov. 8:1-3

Listen as wisdom cries out.

Listen and it will quell all doubt.

Match 15 Sunday. Faith

Mth. 6:11. John. 6:31-40. 1Cor:11:23-24.

We have everything we need.

For on Jesus we feed.

The true bread of life.

Saves us from strife.

The ones the Father will choose.

Jesus will in no way lose.

Now seen to have won.

For we have believed in the Son

For as shown in communion.

In Jesus forever we are in union.
