Nehemiah. 5-7

Though vocation was to lead, l still saw people in need.

Saw those in distress , because the rich did oppress.

Demanded that they give back , or themselves would be under attack.

Then they felt bound , to turn their life around.

For they could see , that was my philosophy.

Then opposition. Made this supposition.

That l was up to no good. That what l was doing would be misunderstood.

But I just ignored . For I could not afford.

To stop the work l was doing. , despite their attempts at wooing.

Me away from what l was doing The wall and my defences renewing.

Then I remembered those who had all returned , to where their freedom had once been earned.

Then we all gathered together , to understand Gods word so much better.

Mark 12:1-12

Jesus told this story , to illustrate , that the King of glory.

Established a place of his own , where his glory would be known.

But the leaders he choose , deliberately set out to oppose.

Until the King said I am going to see , if they at last now will bow the knee.

All even respect my Son , despite all they have previously done.

But even that had no effect, as my loving Son they did reject.

But my King would show goodwill, even when his Son they did kill.

Still religious leaders did elect, Gods purpose to reject.

Ps. 78:1-8

We must all listen to the stories of the past , to explain and help our faith last.

Stories that tell of Gods might, that sometimes go out of sight.

For they are there to teach. Each new generation to reach.

That they don’t make , the same old mistake.

Prov. 23:19-21

Listen to be wise, before faith in you dies.
