Lam. 3-5
About our troubles we complain. But it is our failures that explain.
The situation we are now in. Where we never seem to win.
What a disaster it seems, but we know what it means.
Those who we all used to admire. Now my destruction they desire.
Oh woeful me, Jesus come set me free.
For I am to blame, Have brought disgrace to your name.
Our nation in disarray, from God have turned away.
Lord please don’t ignore, my hopes come now to restore.
Mth. 14:1-12
Just when see Jesus start to win, reminded of the trouble we are in.
For evil men who rule, will do anything to be seen cool.
Can turn against us, and throw us under the bus.
Because of what we say, in speaking evil of the day.
We can only mourn, as our hope dies we are left forlorn.
Ps. 82
Gods righteousness rules, the opposition just proven fools.
For at the very core, Gods perfect love blesses the poor.
The contrast so stark. The foolish wander in the dark.
Proud of what they do, but God the whole earth belongs to you.
Prov. 14:5-8
When you hear what others say. Be careful what you believe today.
