Lamentations. 1-3

What sadness there is , when Gods purpose we miss.

When we do our own thing, disasters it does bring.

Every thing we fear, seems right around us here.

That the Lord has left you, because of the things that you do.

I feel all forlorn, I cry as I mourn.

All that I have lost, what it has cost.

Seems hopeless to me, from all that I do see.

My enemies do mock, My beliefs in the dock.

I cry out to the Lord, seems my troubles you have ignored.

Darkness covers the light, daylight turns to night.

No longer am l free, seems as though the Lord has left me.

My hope and strength all gone. For the Lords presence l long.

Yet even now I can cope, as in the Lord I put my hope.

For l know God is good, to those who understood.

To wait quietly for him, who they have deep faith in.

Great is his faithfulness, new every morning his goodness.

His love to us reach. When his discipline does teach.

Yet we are never, are abandoned forever.

Who are we to complain, when our sins so obviously stain.

All that we do, even while we believe in you.

What our destiny will be, when he judges me.

Mth. 13:47-58

Like the fisherman’s catch. Separation from God will match.

Each should understand , what living for the Lord demands.

When Jesus comes home to me, it is hard to understand how extraordinary.

His power amongst us is, with familiarity we miss.

The power in his name, and stay just the same.

Ps. 113

I praise the Lord when I see, all that he does for me.

His glory reaches above heaven, this is the God I believe in.

He looks down never to ignore, the hurting and the poor.

Amazing what l will see , as the Lord blesses me. .

Prov. 14:1-4

It is only with determined effort. We overcome what seems defeat.
