1Chron. 16-18. decisions

As the holiness of God was revealed to you , and the righteousness you knew.

My heart greatly rejoices, when I hear all Gods promises.

We then worship him when we see , How he has given us victory.

Though just a servant in what l do, amazing things come into view.

Victory I see at this time, through him alone the saviour of mine.

So wanting heaven to be right here, so our God can be always near.

But he says no now is not the time, you have more battles to win that are mine.

I will give you victory over every enemy, the whole world will come to see.

Heaven will be here on earth, when righteousness gives birth.

Through my Son Jesus Christ, who brings blessing to new heights.

But for now you have those, who support when facing the enemy who oppose.

Mark. 3:20-35

When Jesus becomes too famous , it worries even family close to us.

And those who sneer, a lunatic fool is here.

But some will come to see, it is the Lord that is with me.

For one thing cannot be forgiven, is deny Christ to live within.

Refusing to obey, what you have heard him say.

Ps. 119:1-8

Joyful are people of integrity , for they will come to see.

Those who obey Gods law, and the ways of the world ignore.

Would never have to be ashamed , that they amongst believers are named.

Makes me determine to, Lord faithfully follow you.

Prov. 20:15-18

What is most valuable to you, governs all you do.

August 4

1Chron. 12-15 a battle

When my King comes into his own, His authority to rule well known

Victory has been proclaimed, and his brave warriors are named.

Who fight and fulfil, the Fathers will.

To defeat and overcome, the enemy one.

To defend with God given strength, to go to any length ,

For to the King we are to listen, when you are on a mission.

For you have agreed, to follow his lead.

Always you will be victorious , as he constantly restores us.

To our rightful place, a God given special space.

Then we all could not ignore, how we had worshiped God once before.

How when stumbled and hopes died, we then had decided to divide.

That we would try again, recognising what caused the pain.

We then made sure Gods space, would be treated as a holy place.

As we celebrated with unabashed joy, but for some that seemed to annoy.

Mark 3:1-19

When Jesus sees unbelief , he still brings relief,

Though the religious make their claim, their righteousness is not the same.

Determine to destroy and to kill, Gods declared sacred will.

Thousands still came to believe, healing and deliverance to receive.

Jesus then chose apostles who would lead . For they were to meet all future need.

Ps. 78:65-72

Suddenly the Lord arrived, when hopes seemed not to have survived .

He routed the enemy, and chose from his family, unexpectedly.

A humble King , who became Lord of everything.

Who cared with a true heart, for his followers right from the start.

Prov. 20:11-14

It is the righteousness you display, that in the end wins the day.

August 3

1 Chron. 10-12

Saul and his sons die in the battle. The whole nation of Israel it did rattle.

But there were many who chose, individually King Saul to oppose.

Who fought the good fight , in their new king David’s sight.

Brave and with David stood, for they believed it was all for the good.

For David to lead and deploy. Brave men who would destroy.

The enemies defence, that seemed so immense.

To take the city of David, for he was now Gods favourite.

Brave men of fame, David listed them all by name.

As great warriors of might, in all of the people’s sight.

A great army who then, Showed the bravery of godly men.

All needed to bring about, so there was no longer any doubt.

Who was leader and king. in everything.

Mark. 2-23-38

When accused of doing wrong. Broken the law that shows where you belong.

Said those that accuse , who were looking for false news.

But remember the way, in King David’s day.

When he was hungry too. , and did something he knew.

Was strictly against the law. That God had forbiden before.

For the main thing for you, is to do what Jesus would do.

For he has authority to say, what is truth today.

To live in accord, to obedience of our Lord

Ps. 78 :56-64

Then came the day, how sad it was to say.

When all men turned away. From what God said was okay.

To anger him, who our only hope was in.

Everything given destroyed, for our God this world had annoyed.

Prov. 20:7-10

The godly walk with integrity, from this world’s standards set free.

August 2 Sunday

Prov. 24:17 Mth 5:43-48 Lk 6:27-36

Don’t rejoice when those you don’t like. Get into strife and fall off their bike.

Don’t just think good of your neighbourhood , compared to those strangers, you have never understood

Though they do things in a different way. Doesn’t mean God isn’t with them today.

For just as Gods loves each one of them. You are to be seen as compassionate to all men.

Even though they might curse you. Be loving in return in all you do.

Going that second mile, peacefully with a humble smile.

For you should be different in every way , to those who are arrogant in what they say.

August 1

1Chron. 7-9

The ups and downs of Gods chosen people, listed by name some strong some feeble.

The highs and the lows. On the journey each christian goes.

But all part of Gods greater plan, for the salvation and redemption of man.

Irelevant to the purpose of the Lord, his longterm vision is always restored.

As we see his will done, we will see victory won.

All men and women taking a part, Of building Gods kingdom, right from the the start.

Mark. 2:13-22

Then Jesus came to make a new start, inviting each one to take part.

Even from among those , who had seemed to oppose.

That we all called a sinner, Jesus invited himself for dinner.

For it is those that recognise their need. Jesus sits down with for a feed.

So you must eat while you can, for God could have another plan.

So put on the new wine skin, so that new wine of yours will stay in.

For it all has been at a cost, so important nothing will be lost.

Ps. 78:44-55

Don’t you remember when , though in slavery God came and saved them.

The he rescued you, for the new thing you had to do.

Provide everything you did need ,as faith he built so you could lead.

To the promised land, where finally you could make a stand.

A inherited land to be in, that Christ the Lord did win.

Prov. 20:4-6

The strong and reliable , believe and are pliable.

July 31

1Chron 6-17

It is in the written record, those who lived for the Lord.

The famous and all those, who were of the people God chose.

Each important in their own way , in leading people of their day.

Until the time did come, Christ was revealed to everyone.

Mark. 2:1-12

In the crowd that came to view. There was sinful lonely you.

Not able to go in and see, felt God had crippled me.

Then some friends, lowered me in. The Lord smiled on me and said , you are forgiven.

Shocked those all around, who felt I deserved to be bound.

Then he said something that startled me. Just believe and I can set you free.

I lept up in delight, all were amazed at that sight.

Their faith grew so much more. They had never seen such thing before.

Ps 78:32-39

In spite of all this. Gods people did miss.

So often on their day. Gods perfect narrow way.

Just ordinary mere mortals. Compared to almighty God looked fools .

That is why, their faith did die.

They were all just talk, not walking the walk.

But even then God did save, despite the way we did behave.

Many times this was true, showing just us weak but God was true.

Prov. 20:1-3

Ungodly things distract , from Gods full impact.

July 30

1Chron. 4-5

This story from ancient time , mirrors present life of mine.

Where our beliefs are dependent, from whom we descended.

Then we grew and matured, we then could be assured.

That we were all one, living in the promised land Christ had won.

Each winning the territory, that would set the world free.

Then living in victory, with each other peacefully.

But then the enemy did attack. And took our freedom right back.

Mark 1:35-45

Our need to get up early and go, to a quiet place that we might know.

What our mission is today, where Gods healing power we can display.

So when someone comes to ask, we will fulfil our God given task.

To heal and restore, hoping people will ignore.

And not make a fuss , that is centred on us.

But proving and knowing totally, that it was Christ that made them free.

Ps 78:17-31

We see it again and again, from victory of God to sins stain.

Where we refused to believe, that we could ever receive.

The gifts of God’s, that seem totally at odds.

At first glance, with our circumstance.

Yet Gods victories I know all about. , but my heart is still full of doubt.

How offensive this is, for I have seen the blessings Christ gives.

Prov. 19:27-29

When stop listening to instruction, you will see only destruction.

July 29

1Chron. 3-4

Men famous in their day, who have long since passed away.

Were influential men, but their days have gone and been.

Gods kingdom is still here, men and woman under his care.

Some are so famous, some ordinary like us.

Others we now deride, for they fell by the side.

Some had a name, that only brought shame. cried to the Lord, from whom help came.

Some notable women who, for some reason were mentioned too.

All together part of the history, affecting today you and me.

Then the day will come, to open a book, there see the lives, of everyone.

Mark 1:21-34

While Jesus spoke with authority, the world around him is his priority.

To heal the mentally ill, cure fevers and the diseased at will.

Amazed all people then came. Because of his compassion and his fame.

Ps. 78:9-16

Some follows of God now choose to ignore, all the amazing things that have happened before.

Documented down through history, for everyone now to see.

Refusing to live and obey, what Gods word plainly does say.

Prov. 19:24-26

Becomes obvious to all, those who are about to fall, and those God did call.

July 28

1Chron 1-2 Heritage

What an amazing heritage we can trace, that has brought us to this place.

We should recognise as we see, how they influenced me.

As forbears of ours. So from our seed the flowers.

Come fruit that renew, because of the ongoing effect of you.

Mark 1-9-20

Jesus baptised in Jordon there, God said this is my beloved Son right here.

Jesus went out in the desert place, where the challenges of this world he had to face.

Jesus went then to Galilee, where the kingdom of God we began to see.

Jesus taught we need to repent, to discover what this kingdom living meant.

Jesus called his disciple by name, they saw who he was so they came.

Ps. 78:1-8

We should alway be prepared to discern, the good and the bad from our ancestor we can learn.

Remembering our descendants will say, look at what he did in his day.

Though each generation need, the Holy Spirit to them lead.

Aware of those who did before refuse, to hear Gods good news’s

Prov. 19:21-23

We all see if we can, follow the Lords plan.

July 27

Ezra. 9-10 repentance

When I realised, we Gods people, had done what he despised.

That we had done all over again, things that caused us so much pain.

l wept at what I saw, that others tried to ignore.

But everybody knew, it was the wrong thing to do.

God had rescued us few, so what were we to do?

We all come together, despite the rainy weather.

And agreed that we would leave, those things that made the Spirit grieve.

Though some said no way, we are not doing this today.

Most now agreed, this was our greatest need.

Mark 2:1-8

This is the Good news about Jesus, though confronting to all of us.

Be prepared on this day, for what the Holy Spirit does say.

We have to now face, as we cry out in this desert place.

Repent and turn around, if your God is to be found.

Then he will baptise with much more , than you have ever seen before.

Ps 46

God is our refuge and strength , he has gone to great length.

To rescue us from sin, and all this trouble we are in.

A river of joy has come, it flows out to everyone.

Though we God have annoyed, because of his great love we avoid.

The chaos all around, for our hope in him can be found.

As we do the Fathers will, with our spirit calm and still.

Honour will come our way, as the goodness of God we display.

Prov. 19:18-20

All must find on this day, the Lords true and faithful way.
