Exd. 13-15

They did dedicate their own today, the same the Lord had taken away.

From my worlds enemy, to commemorate escape from slavery.

And have a special feast, with bread without yeast.

This will always remind you , what the Lord did for you.

Then went into the wilderness, now had to cope with stress.

Fire lit what’s in store, dark cloud hid what went before.

He rescued from the enemy, making a dry path through the sea.

Destroying them when they followed , the escape route they had borrowed.

The whole world will come to know, God gives victory it goes to show.

We sang and rejoiced, but soon after voiced.

Our anger when facing strife, in this dry bitter desert life.

First lesson to learn,listen carefully, to overcome your troubles successfully.

John. 3:1-8

Secretly in darkness we come, amazed at what Jesus had done

He reveals what seems a mystery. How Gods Spirit can be born again in me.

So now know we can really start again , released from all past sin and pain. .

Just as when know it is so windy, but the actual wind you cannot see.

Ps. 23

For the Lords my shepherd he keeps me rested, in green pasture feeling so blessed.

Guiding through each dark valley. supplying all my needs unbelievably.

Surely l will always know, the everlasting love he does show.

Prov. 26:10-12

When think you have no doubt. Don’t forget God and fool about.

October 8

Exd. 10-12

Locusts strip the land, darkness on demand.

Then the worst of all, death surrounded all.

Get out the king said, my eldest son is dead.

But we the people of the Lord, the angel of death ignored.

For blood was the sign, remembered in communion wine.

The lamb that we ate, allowed us to escape this world’s fate.

Riches then were given, from the land we lived in.

Then we were told to go, for our worldly master had come to know.

They could not afford, to offend our King and Lord.

While we also must regularly come to his table, recognising the Lamb of God is no fable.

He allows us to flee, from the oppressive enemy.

John. 2:12-25

Then we need to come out, when Jesus shows his doubt.

About our priority in worship. Especially when we are full of it.

But one day we came to know, resurrection from a time of woe.

Ps. 131

Lord l am no longer proud, though others may say it out aloud.

I don’t concern myself with debate, for I know the Lord controls my fate.

I put my hope in the Lord, now it is amazing what I can now afford.

Prov 26:7-9

To seek to be just so cool, often makes you look a fool.

Exd 7-9

God sends this amazing sign, to show that I will be fine.

Yet despite what I will say, they shout out, no way!

Then river was made to look red like blood. Frogs covered the neighbourhood.

Gnats then flies caused a major problem. Magicians now realised only God could solve them.

Then cattle died boils arrived. Yet Gods people survived.

A hail storm sent to warn. But still their were o stubborn. .

As their heart was hard, they continued to disregard.

John. 2:1-11

Another amazing sign, turning water into wine.

Mary could see , somethings are meant to be.

An amazing display, on this wedding day.

Ps. 29

Honour the Lord, for he cannot be ignored.

His glory, splendour and holiness , In our world we can sense.

It is the voice of the Lord right there. Shows amazing love and care.

Prov. 26:4-6

To trust or answer a fool, is not wise though may seem cool.

October 6

Exod. 4-6

We so often complain, we feel so useless to ever explain.

How the Lord will come, to release everyone.

From this world of slavery, how he will come to set all men free.

But he will give a sign, to show God is the provider of mine.

Though my speech is slow, Gods provision I will know.

Your brother will come, you two will become one.

As you together proclaim, we must worship in Christs name.

Though we must expect, our world to reject.

That trouble will come, people will say we were so dumb,

To believe in you. Lord what should we now do.

We must again confront, ask again then for what I want.

Though it will still be bad news, as they again stubbornly refuse.

To let my people go, it’s now his deliverance he will show.

Victory for all who can claim, they are known by Christs name

John. 1:43-51

Jesus then went to Galilee, said to Phillip come I will set you free.

Philip said to his mate, Jesus amazes me. You guys should come and see.

Nathaniel filled with scorn, said look where he was born.

Jesus then does show , there is nothing he doesn’t know.

Astounded Nat says I believe. Jesus says there is so much more you will receive.

As your spirit is woken, see heavens door wide open.

Ps. 92

To give thanks to the Lord is good, If only the whole world would,

Instead they scorn you, and everything I do.

Even though they see me , flourish like a palm tree.

Transplanted where I can take stock. Knowing Jesus is my rock.

Prov. 26:1-3

The Lord always comes to show his provision, so in all things you must listen.

October 5

Exodus 1-3

The people of God were distressed , by this world had become oppressed.

A special child was born , from water of Nile was drawn.

Raised with the earthly king, learnt that meant actually nothing.

Had to flee far away, until God said that’s okay.

God in a blazing fire did appear, to say he really did care.

Said he would and could rescue , through a nobody just like you,

Should go and will see, God can use a person like me.

Your right to now demand, to go from slavery to promised land.

John 1:29-42

Out of the blue, John saw the Jesus he thought he knew.

Was the lamb of God, though that must have seemed odd.

That he came to cleanse from within, from all the trouble we were in.

It was then we knew, what we had to do.

We then left to follow Jesus. Just as our mentor suggested to us.

Ps. 63

My God I earnestly search for you, Desperate seeking in all I do.

For I have seen you in your sanctuary, know you are just so good for me.

I lie in middle of night awake , seeking you for my goods sake.

Know all I hear is true, my only hope is in you.

Prov. 25:26-28

The godly who lose self control, Do such damage to mind spirit and soul.

October 4 Sunday

Josh 1:7-8. 2Tim 3:14-17. John 1:14-

Success always obeys, what Gods word says.

For you always knew, Gods word was there to equip you.

That blessed are those, when making decisions always chose.

When observing Gods law. To obey what they saw.

Oh that I could always say, l have obeyed Lord you every day.

October 3

2Cor. 11-13. weakness

For even though I am weak and frail, feel like a ship sailing into a gale.

That weakness make me strong, for it is to the Lord I belong.

That really is my only claim, to any authority or fame.

So when I am weak and things go wrong, l depend on Christ to be strong.

Not claiming I have any right, to be honoured in your sight.

For my only confident claim, is like you I call on Christs name.

For God will test both you and me, to see if different from rest of humanity. .

So now just encourage each other , and I will send a christian brother.

John. 1:14-28

The God of heaven and earth, has come down to give new birth.

Though you come and ask just where, not recognising he is right here.

You come to me who feels so feeble. Compared to him who will give power to his people

While I stand in this desert place to make plain. There is no power unless you repent and call on his name.

Ps. 51

Lord have mercy, I am a failure all can see.

Blot out my sin, As I recognise the trouble I’m in

I always knew , I was sinning against you.

Help me for I cannot deny, l need your blood to purify.

Don’t take your Holy Spirit from me, so I can know forgiveness totally

My sacrifice , will never suffice.

But a broken heart, is what I need for a start.

When taking the eucharist, I know that is the first on my list.

Prov. 25:23-25

Good and bad news, can control views.

October 2

2 Cor. 9-11

You know the need there is to give, God sends a message to encourage in the way you live.

Acknowledge scriptural authority, that you then act obediently.

We won’t boast about anything , except what Christ does bring.

We want your faith to now grow, so your works allow others Christ to know.

Not in some obscure doctrine, that can deceive and lead to sin.

As we preach humbly , that it is only Christ can set you free.

John. 1-13

For in the beginning Christ was here, the light in our world that was under his care.

In darkness his love did shine, for he spoke with power divine.

Though the world think they are wise, Jesus still refuse to recognise.

But to all who accept him, he transforms from within

To be as children of his, Blessing never to miss.

Ps. 69

Though feel rejected , and constantly effected ,

By the this world I live in, deliver me Lord from turmoil within.

That I again can feel fine, l can have victory in this world of mine.

Prov. 25:21-22

Though enemies dislike me, see them objectively , though may seem odd , as children of God.

October 1

2Cor. 5-8

For we know when this life on earth is done , a place in heaven we have won.

Though we can grow so weary, and know Gods Spirit is our guarantee.

Though we may now not fully see, we believe so we can confidently. Fulfil our present responsibility.

We work hard to , fulfil this especially to you.

Even though what we do may seem odd , our main purpose is to bring glory to God.

For just as Christ died for us all . As his followers that also is our call.

As we reconcile our world to him , showing who our salvation is in.

Putting up with what may seem disaster , knowing we are here to serve our Lord and master.

Never to be overcome , for the day will surely come, when we know we have won.

For now you must be seperate , not letting the ungodly deny your best effort

All the while , cleansed of what might defile.

Encouraging all, who have the same call.

Even though have been critical, How I loved them because they did not fall.

You recognise your hope is in him Who brings such joy to the world you live in.

That a righteous life you lead , thinking of the others need.

Even as you continue to allow , my people to come and serve you now.

Mark 16:9-20

First of all, Jesus revealed to the small.

To two travellers then, inconspicuous men.

Finally to the disciple of his, who did completely miss..

Christ was alive again , there to explain.

There mission here on earth, revelation , healing, and new birth.

Then left them to it, their role to fulfil it.

Ps. 68:19-35

Praise God our Saviour, he rescues from others bad behaviour.

Amazing to see, how God saves the weakly.

Summon Lord your might, in all the worlds sight.

That amazingly , sets everyone free. Awsome in his sanctuary.

Prov. 25:17-20

Honesty always pays, the word of God says.

September 30

2Cor. 1-4

Because we see Gods comfort in all we do, we are more understanding in offering comfort to you.

You know of all the troubles we face, you do too, but in any case.

In Christ we both can be sure. We can always endure.

All those troubles we together face. Depending totally on Gods grace,

I will visit when I can, if it fits into Gods plan.

For God is witness that in all l do, I think and pray especially for you.

That even though I seem to moan, it is for Christ in you I want to make known.

That you should now forgive your brother, so their faith they can now recover.

As even l work constantly , that Christ shall be known through me.

Not that l can ever save, except through what the Spirit gave.

For now we have an open door, even though we failed in law.

For Christs story, has so much more glory.

We have nothing ourselves to give, Like vessels of clay as we live.

For when perplexed and troubled so we shrivel and cower , we see Christs amazing rescuing power.

When hopes seem to die. Christ is seen like a light in the sky.

We can never give up on today, for Christ is the only way.

Mark. 16:1-8

When the sabbath ended, the faithful mournfully intended.

To acknowledge Christ in us was dead, It was only then realised instead.

Christ resurrected he is alive. His work on earth again to revive.

Ps. 68:1-18

Pray Lord you will defeat the enemy, that we will forever see.

That they will never again annoy, and we may know hope and joy.

Sing praises to him , who our hope is in.

Sets the prisoner free , there to help the poor and needy.

Power above the highest mountain, more than our world can ever contain.

Prov. 25:13-16

A trustworthy messenger, gives from heart that is tender.
