Acts. 22-23

When we cause the world offence. Our testimony is the best defence.

To prove who we now are. Why we have come so far.

From when we like you. Fought against Gods purpose thinking to do.

What was right, in Gods sight

But then I saw the light, though blinded now given insight.

That Jesus was Lord of all. That l had to answer his call.

A special destiny. To reach out and preach to many.

Especially now to those. Who l had thought to previously oppose.

The religious cried enough. This is ridiculous stuff.

The police saw how they did behave. Came to rescue and to save.

But then to treat with derision. To throw into prison.

Now priests their own law flout. It was then I cried out.

What about you two. One believe the other a worldly view.

This led to a fight, to prove who was right.

Then those in power could see. I’m innocent and should be free

When it was shown, those who would kill were not alone

They protected me, from the enemy.

By sending me far away, for trial on another day.

Mth. 5:13-20

Am I like salt and light, in the worlds sight.

Salt that gives flavour, light that shines on my Saviour.

Don’t think of the law, Jesus came so you can know more.

It is there still, for he does fulfil.

For the Old Testament too , is fulfilled in the New.

So you can never say, this is a different day.

We must all stand before, the righteousness of the law.

If we are to enter in, Gods holy kingdom.

Ps. 94:1-11

Lord come and judge, when those evil people refuse to budge.

Let your glorious justice shine , in this world of mine.

Let the arrogant we observe. Get exactly what they deserve.

For goodness sake. How long Lord will it take,

The weak live in fear. It seems God you don’t care.

Yet what they honour as cool. Will show them to be a fool.

Just how worthless they are. when seen from afar.

Prov. 11:14-15

A leader is never to forget, don’t mortgage yourselves into debt.
