2Thess. 1-3

Here we again see.

The need for faithfulness in me.

For the day will come.

When the lawless one.

Will rule amongst men

To demand of them

To obey his ways.

Ignoring what the Lord says.

But be absolutely assured

Those who have endured.

Will see Christs return.

For rebellious to learn

His power and might.

Will win the fight.

Lk. 9:46-56

As we so often ask.

Who is best for Gods task.

He loves his child.

Gentle meek and mild.

Whoever does display.

Gods power today.

And just to leave alone

Those who oppose and moan.

About the direction you take.

For your destiny’s sake

Ps. 145:14-21

The Lord lifts those who fall.

In life’s work seem to stall.

But when there eyes are on You.

Lord you bless all they do.

You are righteous in all your ways.

I will praise you all of my days.

Prov 4:23-24

Above all else guard your heart.

Not just trying to be smart

February 12

1Thess 1-5

I have followed Jesus.

Have seen all he does.

Given my all.

That others may not fall

Now l am away.

Watching you join the fray.

Just remember all Jesus said.

Don’t follow world instead.

Be pure holly and upright

In your saviours sight.

For one day he will come

To take everyone.

It will be a surprise

For those who Gods word despise

But there will be no doubt.

He will arrive with a shout

So right now live lives full of love

As you think of the things above.

Lk. 9:37-45.

Came down from mountain height

Was confronted with a sight.

That revealed my lack of belief.

When could not heal their grief.

Then Jesus saw and did heal.

So now victory felt so real.

But then he turned and us told.

You will feel left out in the cold.

Ps. 145:1-13

I will exalt God my king

For l see all he does bring

Great things into my life.

Delivering those in great strife.

Giving to all

Not allowing them to fall

Jonah. 1-4

When I hear what God does say

Yet l then try to run away

I will be caught in this great storm.

Desperate and all forlorn.

Then will be thrown out.

Because there is no doubt.

That my God was angry.

Disappointed in just me

But l promised to behave.

If only he would save.

From whale in the sea.

And now walk obediently.

Then saw those who I supposed.

That God should have apposed

Be released from sins curse.

Just made me feel much worse.

So l then just wanted to die.

But God came and said why?

When see so many hurt men.

Should l not bless them.

Lk. 9:28-36

Climb mountain with Jesus to pray.

To hear what God has to say.

Amazing it is what l see.

What was revealed to me.

It is too hard a tale to sell.

Only later will be able to tell

Ps. 141

Lord l am calling to you.

As l desire my faith to renew.

Listen to my prayer.

You know how much l care.

Even if it be hard.

And l am dealt a wrong card.

Let my faith not be hollow

As l determine you to follow.

Even though others may scorn.

May my hopes be reborn.

The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn.

Num. 34-36

The Lord does gives you land.

Don’t treat it offhand.

For it is special to you.

For what you are about to do.

As part of the whole

In your worlds role.

So get rid of all that does kill

The purpose of Gods will.

Luke. 9:18-27

Who do you think you are.?

You are the son of the Father.

Though you will come to know.

Despair that brings you low.

For that is you earthly task.

All that God does ask.

When who you follow is named.

You will not be ashamed.

Ps. 138

The Lord comes and encourages me

So often l come at night to that see.

Even when l am in strife.

He works out his plans for my life.

That he is right by my side.

For in him l do abide.

So Lotd don’t now abandon me.

Si l can my present troubles be free.

Just don’t do as the wicket do.

For their blessings are so few.

Nums. 32-33. (my journey)

To cross Jordon to help those.

Who finally destroy all that oppose.

Is why l first set out.

What my life has been about.

As l left the land of Egypt.

Victorious no longer defeated.

Crossed the Red Sea.

Set out determinedly

Over the desert land.

With believers hand in hand.

Many fell away.

But here we are today.

For Jesus to lead us in

Finally to see heaven.

Lk. 9:1-17

Jesus initially sent us out.

So there was never a doubt

Caused quite a fuss.

It was seen he was with us.

Then we were in a desert.

We could see we could be hurt.

But Jesus said do not worry.

This is not the time to hurry.

Just sit and l will feed.

And meet your every need.

Ps. 134

Praise the Lord all night

When resting from days fight

That he might bless you.

In everything that you do.

Prov. 4:5-13

Get wisdom above all else.

Listen to what your heart tells.

This is the best thing to do

To give victory to you.

February 8 Sunday

Gal 5:22-23

It is with patience kindness and goodness we live with others.

Treat each person like they are our brothers.

Even those we don’t particularly like.

We never tell them just go take a hike.

February 7

Nums. 30-32

When you make a vow.

That scripture will allow.

That you promised to do.

Because it’s good for you

Then when kill the enemy.

Must not let anything go free.

The priest shall lead the way

Making you do as the Lord say

Then bring all before the Lord.

For his purity cannot be ignored.

Thankful that he did give

Protection that we might live.

That some would want to stay.

And that would be okay.

If support the others too.

To have promised land like you.

Lk. 8:40-56

When we look to Jesus.

When disaster comes upon us.

Whether secretly or in the open.

Faith makes healing happen.

If we just touch or loudly call

He will come and heal us all

Some will happen publicly.

Some between Christ and me.

Ps. 125

In the Lord put your trust.

For in him only you must.

Have faith to overcome.

What the enemy has done.

Do what you Father says

All of your days.

Num. 27-29. (chosen)

Even when against custom

Lord says all must win.

And he insists to give.

All a place to live.

Then when told for me to go.

Don’t be filled with gloom and woe.

But ask the Lord to heed.

The people’s future need

Appoint someone can depend upon

Who can lead these people on.

Then present your offerings.

From all those blessings

The Lord has given you.

As you look for something new.

Lk. 8:26-39. (healed)

When Jesus cures the insane.

He could also get the blame.

For upsetting status quo.

We prefer not to know.

Yet the man was set free.

For all to come and see.

Jesus said now go to town.

So what’s done becomes renown.

Ps 67. (mission)

God be merciful that world will see.

How much you have blessed me.

That also I might praise you.

When you will bless them too.

For you are right here

Fill us with respectful fear

That all would be the same.

In praising your amazing name.

Prov. 4:1-2

To God listen

Nums. 25-26

Here we see again

How rebellion causes pain.

Brings death to Gods community.

As think can sin with impunity.

Is to God an insult

And the end result.

To purify and to cleanse.

Need to stop what offends.

Then it is only then.

You can count on those men.

Who will go up in unity.

As God insists on purity

Lk. 8:16-25

God will bring to light.

What is done in the darkest night.

So listen to Gods word.

And obey what you have heard.

Even if come and suppose.

You are to Jesus real close.

If you don’t obey.

You are really far away.

For a storm will come along.

Reveal your faith not strong.

Though then astounded to see.

He can save the likes of me.

Ps. 120

I took my troubles to the Lord.

For l realised l could not afford.

To live with deceitful people.

Who don’t like peace at all.

For I am tired of this.

So want the peace of his.

Prov. 3:33-35

God curses the wicket life.

The upright saves in strife

Gods wisdom does unlock.

While fools will only mock.

Nums. 22-24

When those who oppose.

Want a curse put on those.

Who looked too strong.

They will be proven wrong.

For God blesses chosen men.

Instead of cursing them.

For he let it be known.

They were not all alone.

Much to the disgust

Of those who realise they must

Defeat them in a fight.

Despite realising Gods might

To protect and to make.

Them victorious for Gods sake

Lk. 8:1-15

Lord I will follow you.

To hear what I should do

Those words of yours.

The world often ignores.

Let my soil be that good.

I will bless the neighbourhood

Ps. 108

My heart is confident in you God.

For you have given me the nod.

To live victoriously.

When l live so perilously.

In this world of mine.

Knowing all will be fine.

For it is only you.

Who can give victory anew.

Prov. 3:31-3

Do what the Lord says.

Don’t follow the world’s ways.
