Eph 4:17-6:24

Live lives honourably, that the people around you can see,

the righteousness of God , though it may seem odd.

To the world around you. Don’t let your emotions control what you do.

When steal be angry or swear, the Holy Spirit is not there.

Loving, tender hearted and kind, reveal a Christ mind.

Don’t joke and join in, with the talk of worldly men.

For there is no excuse, if Gods purity you abuse.

Awake and take delight , in Gods revealing light.

Always trying to fulfil, Gods good and perfect will.

For every relationship of yours. Should follow and reveal Gods laws.

While the enemy delights to see , if he can defeat me.

So put on truth to learn. Peace to discern.

Faith to know, as well as salvation wherever you go

So you always live it , in the Holy Spirit.

Praying for each other, for they are your brother.

Remembering those in prison, in their own God given mission.

Peace be with you. Gods grace in all you do.

Mth. 26:57-75

While Jesus is ridiculed in front of me, and l follow so timidly. While he is accused unjustly.

I so often him deny. To live and tell a total lie.

To what l know is true. That Lord I am ashamed of you.

What disaster l have been, too scared to be seen.

As a disciple of yours, Oh my grief outpours.

Ps. 123

I lift my eyes to you Lord. The only thing I can afford.

In this Life of mine , so l can feel fine.

For l too feel scoffed at, When with others sat.

Prov. 18:13-16

Be ready to hear, not just to jeer.

July 15

Eph 1-4:16

Listen to what Gods word said, as in peace you lay on your bed.

For he has blessed us within, through the sacrifice given.

Who now is lifted up, That we might in his presence sup.

With he who promised long ago, that all people should know.

His amazing love and redemption, despite the trouble we seem in.

How good it is to see, God sets everyone of us free.

Despite who we both were, his penalty we never incur.

God so rich in mercy, for the whole world to see.

For only by his grace , can l come into that space.

He brought different people together, In his Spirit we are birds of a feather.

All to live as an example , as Gods holy temple.

Even the weak man, sees the mysteries of Gods plan.

So please don’t lose heart, because you don’t feel that smart.

For Christ dwells inside, in your body he does abide.

That you might experience, The power of his presence.

So make every effort to be, a life lived righteously.

To do that special deed, that those around you so need.

No longer immature, but in Christ grow in stature.

Mth 26:47-56

Suddenly it all happened, our hopes were all flattened.

The enemy came to me , defeated we seemed to be.

But Christ says not so , I am with you wherever you go.

What ever it now seems, it is not by this worlds means.

Though now so desperately, the present circumstances you flee.

The victory will be mine. Wait and see all will be fine.

Ps. 118:19-29

Open the gates Lord that I might come in , to that amazing world you live in.

For I finally can see, it is you alone can give victory.

This is the day the Lord has made , my hope in him shall never fade.

Though others reject, Fulfilled I fully expect.

For Christ gives all things, secretly my heart sings.

Prov. 18:10-12

The name of the Lord is a strong fence , The world thinks riches the best defence.

July 14

Obadiah

The Lord does condemn , brothers of christian men,

Who choose , to abuse .

When others are in trouble , because God has burst their bubble.

But one day he will restore, that troubled brother like before,

And the brothers who lived next door, will be heard of no more.

Malachi.

Even amoung Gods chosen people, those who don’t feel to keep all,

The sacraments that honour him, that rescued you from their sin.

Going their own arrogant way, God will call to account one day.

And then raise the church that stood firm, from history they did learn.

To honour the Lord, doing everything in accord.

With his will in their life, That God redeems them from strife.

Mth. 26:36-56

We all went out to pray, Jesus leading the way.

But we went to sleep, not vigilant enough to watch keep.

So our relationship with God is right, to have strength for the upcoming fight.

Convinced how strong were we, but the Lord said we shall wait and see.

When trouble comes the churches way, That will be the reckoning day.

When you will face the test, of what in life you think is best.

Ps. 110:1-18

The Lord is in total control, of each and every soul.

Right to present date , he has been in control of the church’s fate.

Always he is here, we are under his eternal care.

If to defeat the enemy, must honour him who set us free.

Prov. 18:7-9

Easy to listen to what others say, It is harder to find the truth and the way.

July 13

2Sam. 22-24

The Lords ways are perfect, though life has seemed hectic.

Those battles had to be won, when all is said and done.

But he has given me the victory, he has always been there for me.

Nothing has caused defeat, as l was helped by Gods elite.

Each one in a particular way, saved me on the day.

I so wanted to prove it was me that was strong, though knew that was in Gods eyes quite wrong.

The Lord revealed this fault, for it caused injury and insult.

So I needed the sacrifice of Him , to finally allow me to win.

Mth 26: 26-35

As disciples of the Lord, his sacrifice cannot be ignored.

As we gather with him, away from the outside din.

Then we have to go, knowing there could be trouble and woe.

Thinking we are so strong now, that we would never disavow.

The Lord as our King, even if costs everything. We glibly sing.

Ps. 118:1-19

Give thanks for God is good, for l have understood.

His faithfulness lasts forever. Even when l felt not so clever.

To the Lord l cried, then saw how he supplied.

So what can mere men do to me, when the Lord has set me free.

Better the Lord to believe in. If you want to always win.

Prov. 18:4-6

Wise words like deep water, keep you afloat when you falter.

July 12

Mth 5:9 Roms. 12:17-21. James 3:17-18.

God blesees when you curer worlds messes.

When troubled by others, love them like brothers.

Treat well everyone , they will think well done.

Never set out, to cast some doubt.

That’s not For you, leave for the Lord to do.

If the enemy in need, give them a feed.

When they thirst, put their need first.

Then in shame, they will do the very same.

Don’t let evil conquer you, Win the day by what you do.

The peace from above is pure, peaceful gentle ready to endure.

With mercy and good care, that show you are sincere.

For the peacemaker will see, peace eventually.

July 11

2 Sam. 20-22

Some will be against the King. Say come on let’s do our own thing.

Some will in what they display, say I will do it my own way.

Some that are giants to behold, destroyed by men that are bold.

Some though old are so wise, Save because of their good advise.

Some are so offended. They need to be defended.

Some so sad to see loved ones die. They just sit around and cry.

The wars just go on and on, victory given to those to God belong.

For Christ sees all that you do. He forever will value and protect you

For I know it is you Lord alone, who lift up the weak and the unknown.

Giving them the victory. Over those who live in enmity.

As I continually sing praises to the Lord, who they constantly ignored.

When disaster seemed to overwhelm me, and I seemed to be defeated by the enemy.

My whole world was shaken, My faith the Lord did awaken.

As l determine to live in accord, to the ways of the Lord.

Now I could scale any wall , as I answer my Gods call.

Mth. 26:14-25

Even one who closely followed chose. To Gods plan in life oppose.

But the Lord said to me, just do as I ask and you will see.

As we meet around passover table, what I am doing will enable.

You see in me the victory, though one of you joins the enemy.

Ps. 109:16-21

The opposition to all that I am, Lord show that it is a sham.

They would love to put me down, everything l do they always frown.

Though I’m trying in the main. My heart is just full of pain

They shake their heads in scorn, l seem to dread each morn.

But my thanks l will repeat, for I continually see Christ meet.

The needs of needy men, though it the world would them condemn.

Prov. 18:1-3

Some think only of themselves. In them the Holy Spirit no longer dwells.

July 10

Sam. 17-19

When the Lord is for you , the opposition confused of what to do.

But you get advise , from those who are wise.

To cross over tonight, so you can avoid a fight.

For tomorrow it seems, the enemy will use all his means.

For you loved them above. Your saviour who has shown much love. p

To destroy you, So disappointing that they do.

Victory then is yours, the Holy Spirit implores.

Show gratitude to him, who rescued from sin.

Be a blessing as you return, as forgiveness you did earn.

God gave you the victory, ever so surprisingly.

Mth. 26:1-13

Even while those, who are plotting how to oppose.

The purpose of the Lord, that all things are in accord.

With the destiny, that he promised me.

I must come and worship now, though some want to disallow.

Not knowing what it does mean, thinking to do so is obscene.

But Jesus does praise, saying blessed will be your days.

Ps. 109:1-15

Oh God who I praise, don’t stand silent these days,

For those I loved now oppose, for they have chose.

To accuse and defame, what l do in your name.

Not only to annoy, but to completely destroy.

Prov. 17;27-28

Silence is sometimes best. Just in your Saviour rest.

July 9

2Sam. 14-17

Disaster upon disaster, when there is rebellion against the king my master.

Though they reconcile. It seems all the while.

They have been scheming against me. So now I will have to flee.

But there will be some. Who want to come.

Though I am filled with woe, they follow me wherever I go.

But there will be also some , who follow the rebellious one.

And some who curse, because they a grudge nurse.

How sad those days. Yet friends hear what the enemy says

And thwart the plans. Of the rebellious man.

Mth. 25:31-46

When my King comes into victory , he will ask who acted contradictory.

To his love for the poor, when though struggling they did ignore.

For when you did it for them. Who at the time were lowly men.

You really were doing it for him, The King who our hope is in.

He will then reward you, for what you did do.

Ps. 79

Lord unbelievers have defeated me. All my precious friends can see.

See how we now mourn. As we cry out for a new dawn.

How long will you not care, we are on the brink of despair.

Pay back those who curse. Though I probably deserve worse.

For I am the sheep of your pasture. You are my loving master.

Prov. 17:24-26

Lord I can only watch you, whatever others might do.

July 8

2Sam. 12-14

Sometimes we all, need to confess and recall.

Our failures in life, that have caused so much strife.

It is shown to be, a picture of me.

The shame it does bring, on my Lord and my King.

The consequences the enemy , will cause for my family.

Will tear us apart, and break my heart.

Death and disruption. Family destruction.

But even then I am forgiven. I can carry on living.

I can continue to fight. With the Lords might.

Victory is mine, I prove I am fine.

But behind the scenes, vengeance it seems.

Then death comes about, the reason no doubt.

It splits us apart, again breaks my heart.

Mth. 25:14-30

A story Jesus told , the servants who were bold.

To invest so to make , riches for the kingdoms sake.

But the one given little, his faith just so brittle.

Afraid to even invest that, just hid it under the mat.

What a disgrace, you are banished God says.

Ps. 137

By the rivets of Babylon, we realised what we had done.

We totally failed him , who all our hopes were in.

They wanted me to sing, but it was the very last thing.

I felt I could do. Lord l was away from you.

Prov. 17:22-23

A cheerful heart, always a good start. A secret bribe, keeps sin alive.

July 7

2 Sam. 7-11

As l come sit before the Lord. It just cannot be ignored.

How God has given victory, over all my enemy.

How amazing it is, that l am a child of his.

Truth belongs to him, who l rest my faith in.

For when he says yes, he does eternally bless

I can win every battle, when my faith does rattle.

Then l will bless those, who used to appose.

So confident was I, that I was tempted by.

A woman that I had, then l behaved real bad.

Mth. 25:1-13

Listen to what the Lord does say. that your hope in him does not go away.

And when he does return , You realise what you did yearn.

Has been and gone, because you have done wrong.

Even belatedly when call out, you were to late there’s no doubt.

Ps 122

How good it is to go, to Gods church where l know,

I will be satisfied , and Gods name glorified.

To pray for peace for all of us. In the name of Jesus.

Prov. 17:18-21

Your relationship with other people, can make you either strong or feeble.
