1Kings. 16-18

The world Lord, has left you.

Worshiping false gods as they do.

l also live like them.

Following the wilful ways of men.

Death comes to leaders and those.

Who deliberately now oppose.

What they know to be true.

What the bible tells to do.

Then a righteous man came.

Drought will come he did proclaim

Even he was in it caught.

The rivet of life came to naught.

Then he was told to move on.

On God he could depend upon.

To supply all that he did need.

And the desperate mother to feed.

To raise up her dying son.

Now she became the amazed one.

Then went on to tell all.

King and those that feel so small.

What it was all about.

This seeming everlasting drought

Lk. 12:22-34

You worry the drought you’re in

God allows the weakest to win.

Don’t seek a proud display.

God will glorify your way.

Though at first may seem odd.

Seek first the kingdom of God

Leave all to follow him.

Now you have total faith in.

Ps. 66;1-12

Praise the Lord for he leads.

How awesome are his deeds.

All the people will now see.

How you look after me.

They want to now follow you.

When they see the things you do.

Though been through a tough time.

l know with Jesus l will be fine.

Prov. 6:20-22

As Gods son.

Follow his teachings every one.

1Kings. 14-15

What a disaster it does mean

When Gods people do lean.

On this worlds things.

The power it brings.

No longer free.

It brings slavery.

But then came along

A man who did belong.

To the Lord in every way.

Giving victory in his day

Lk. 12:13-21

I think l will have a future

But if my heart is not pure.

It is a complete waste of time.

For the Lord l left behind.

Ps. 61

Lord please come hear me.

I need you so desperately.

In you l put my hope.

I am on a slippery slope.

So l can praise you.

In everything l do.

February 26

1Kings. 12-13

Here we once again see.

That l need your delivery

Not followed what told to do.

Now many people have left you.

Sort other satisfaction instead

Been deceived by and be led.

Even when sent prophet to warn

Then suffered because of scorn.

And did not turn away.

Continued to disobey.

While those who came to tell.

Turned and got into trouble as well.

It was the Lord who did forefil.

That we all might see Gods will

For it was shown even then.

The failure of the leading men.

Lk. 12:1-12

Many come to Jesus to follow.

But their faith totally hollow.

The secret has become known

Don’t be worried or now moan.

God sees even though so small.

Loves if turn from your fall.

So when you need to defend.

Gods Spirit he will send.

To teach you what to say.

To lead you in Gods way.

Ps. 58

When I see the world in disaster.

The enemy is the broadcaster.

All that false news.

Deliberately lying in their views.

May they be proved to be wrong.

Blessing to believers do belong.

That God comes and judges.

Those who the truth fudges.

Prov. 6:12-15

Worthless people are in trouble.

Become just a heap of rubble.

February 25

1Kings. 10-11

God gives amazing riches to you.

Brings honour to him in all you do.

But then you became ensnared

By the world became empaired.

Your obedience to him.

Causing division within.

The world that was yours.

Because of your many flaws

Lk. 11:45-54

You think you know it all.

But you are in for a fall.

Criticising those before.

Yet you now have come to ignore.

The flaws in your own heart.

That all began to start.

When you followed the ways.

Of the men of your days.

Even though being told.

Your sin took a hold.

Refusing to come to know.

You will be brought low.

Ps. 53

Only fools ignore what is said.

Evil thoughts their heart fed.

God looks down from heaven.

Lives destroyed by sins leaven.

All have turned away.

From the Lord on this day.

In disaster that brings shame.

Bringing disgrace to his name.

Yet even then God will restore

Allowing rejoicing as before.

Prov. 6:9-11

To sit and not work.

Your responsibilities shirk.

Will cause ultimately dismay.

With disaster in your day.

February 24

1Kings. 8-9

As l build Gods temple.

It always must resemble

His omniscience

His holy presence.

So that when l come before him.

I experience cleansing within.

As l confess all of my sin.

That he will support and lead us.

For in life’s weakness he is near us.

Giving victory instead of shame.

That l might glorify his name.

Lk. 11:29-40

So often we want a sign.

To show Jesus is mine.

But he says don’t you recall.

I have given my all.

To make totally free

If you follow me.

A light that extinguishes the dark.

With the cross as the mark.

Not living as before.

Just following the law.

Dead without realising it.

No longer a servant fit.

For his glorious kingdom

To be a servant of him.

Ps. 40:9-17

You know Lord what I do.

People all know I follow you.

Yet my heart is full of worry.

For my failings I feel sorry.

Yet your unfailing love constantly.

Helps though l am poor and needy.

Lord come and do not delay

That l might see the light of day.

Prov. 6:6-8

Like ants be prepared.

1Kings. 6-7

God designated Solomon to build.

A temple that would be filled.

With the glory of the Lord.

If he lived in accord.

With what he knew was right.

In a holy Gods sight.

Exact in design the plan.

A place where God met man

Built to glorify him.

Now the temple is placed within.

Intricate to a special plan.

Done by the Son of Man

Lk 11:14-28

When see a demon cast out.

And wonder what it is all about.

The Lord turns and says.

I use lots of different ways.

As long as each pf you.

When purified determine to.

Each in everything obey.

Blessed will be your day.

Ps. 40:1-8

All these years l wait.

In the Lords hands is my fate.

I struggle to be clean.

Of the mud where l have been.

Now Lord give me a new song.

That reveals l do belong.

That l might finally have come.

To the place where l have won.

Prov. 6:1-5

Now you have seen.

Leave the place you have been.

Gal. 5:22-23. Ps 18:31-35. Is. 42:1-4. 1Peter. 3:15

For l will only know goodness.

When l I know the firmness.

Of Gods love for me.

He alone gives victory.

For just as he is.

I am a servant of his.

Even when I’m wrong.

To him l do belong.

He always is with me.

No matter how far away l be.

I must only worship him

Who my hope is in.

So that l can explain today.

This is the only way.

February 21

I live i in an alliance

With a world who lives in defiance

With what l know is true.

But what ever should l do?

For l am so weak.

It’s your wisdom l seek.

Strength to do what’s right.

In other people’s sight.

You have promised me.

That you will powerfully.

Fulfil what l ask.

That l might complete the task.

Left for me to do.

Where l can worship you.

With people who support.

Doing what they are taught.

Lk. 11:1-13

When l come to pray.

This is what to say.

Lord your name be kept holy.

May my world turn from foley.

Give today my food

Forgive my faithless mood.

As l would do to others.

Or be tempted by another’s

Lack of faith in you.

In everything l do.

For if l persevere

Daily in my prayer.

God will come at last.

Defeat will be in the past.

And Gods will will be done

With Holy Spirit and l as one.

Ps. 36

The world full of wicket people.

I often feel just so feeble.

Yet l know that all along.

My God is powerful and strong.

For in everything I see.

He is present with me.

Prov. 5:21-23

The Lord is on patrol.

Expects in me self-control.

Feb 19

Heb. 11-13

It is by faith l do live.

For Christ l know does give

All that l need on earth.

As he brings about new birth.

You know to whom you belong.

Now you must be strong.

Not falling away.

When tempted today.

You have come to an amazing place.

Where you can see God face to face.

From where Jesus looks down.

No longer by weakness bound

So listen to what he does say.

For this is the only way.

To always honour him.

In this life you live in.

Looking also to those.

Who God has now chose

To lead you in this life.

To persevere as you face strife.

Lk. 10-25-37

What is most important to do.

Lord when l want to follow you.

To love you and my neighbour.

Which neighbour should l favour?

Then you said you will see.

Those who have most need of me.

Don’t you be so proud.

That you can’t speak it out loud

And be seen to help them.

Though despised by some men.

Ps. 33

Let the godly sing with joy to the Lord.

It is right and fitting that he should be adored.

Sing and shout a new song.

For he destroys all that is wrong.

And he created all things

To his people he now brings.

Hope that we can now learn.

In faith to always stand firm.

Prov. 5:7-14.

Now you you are in this place.

Listen or you will be in disgrace.

February 18

Num. 6:1-21

Today if you make a vow.

Because ash Wednesday is now.

To bow to your Saviour

And change your behaviour.

It is a promise to record.

That you will live in accord.

With a special way.

Until Easter day

Mth. 4:1-17

Satan in the desert has tempted.

When hungry feel emptied

Yet l relied on Gods Word.

All I had learnt and heard.

Said get out of my way.

I will serve the Lord today.

Then return to my home.

Where really not now known.

So go to the place.

Which is in disgrace

To proclaim this is the day.

That the Lord will have his way.

Repent and you will know

God can lift you from feeling low.

Mark 2:18-22

Don’t do as you have before.

It is not just about law.

But you have new wine within.

Need to change your outa skin.

To contain and not now burst.

And quench your world’s thirst.

With compassion and love.

As you are led from above.
