Neh. 8-10. Our redeemer.

All the believers together.

Said they would never.

Forget what God did for them.

Brought from slavery and then.

Grew a nation though weak.

Then promised we would seek.

To obey faithfully the law.

So God could give us more.

Now hearing this made us forlorn.

Just wanted to weep and mourn.

But told to feast to celebrate.

God now controls our fate.

How blessed l now see.

What God has given to me.

We all came to worship him.

Who our only hope is in.

John 15:25-40

What a disaster we have been.

All the world has now seen.

My king who is my Lord.

So afraid I now ignored

While Jesus had to face

Accusations of disgrace.

And abuse all because

He confirmed who he was.

Our saviour and our Lord.

The truth cannot be ignored.

Psalm. 105:1-7

Our Lord is just so great.

He totally controls our fate.

We all acknowledge his fame.

Worshiping in his name.

The God of heaven and earth.

Who constantly gives new birth.

Comes to restore.

As we bow before.

I feel weary and low.

Despite all that l do know.

Nehemiah. 5-7

When there is abuse.

Or slavery taken into use.

Expecting interest in return.

That you feel you earn.

It forgets the larger part.

Shows a stingy heart.

For from riches l save.

I never took but gave.

Oh Lord please give me more.

So that l can help the poor.

Even as Gods purpose fulfilled.

There is opposition to the build

I refuse to be cowed.

When they suggest it’s not allowed.

Continuing my protective wall.

Until I’ve finished it all.

Though the place looked empty.

I knew there were plenty.

Who had come with me

When we had been set free.

John. 18:12-24

When we Jesus follow.

Faith will be seen hollow.

When embarrass to admit.

Our beliefs do not fit.

To those all around.

I feel absolutely bound.

To deny who Jesus is.

The destiny of his.

But Jesus stands his ground.

His truth then to be found.

When refuse to believe.

Or in any way receive.

At all that he has done.

Has been in front of everyone.

And that is why.

You cannot deny.

He cannot be ignored.

For Jesus is Lord.

Ps. 150

Let everything we can afford.

He used to praise our Lord

Dec. 7. Sunday Condemned.

Malachi. 2

Listen now God says to me.

I’m telling you can’t you see.

When you are to blame.

You dishonour my name.

Don’t be deceived.

The blessing you received.

Will be taken away.

If you don’t do what I say.

For the purpose of you.

The reverence for all l do.

Reveals truth as you live.

Through what I give.

To faithfully teach.

And the outreach.

I have ordained you for.

In obedience to my law.

Yet you just carry on.

What you know to be wrong.

Dec. 6

Nehemiah 1-4 Restoration

I have become concerned.

Walls of God have been burned.

We have got what we deserved.

Gods commands not observed.

God in the trouble l hear and see.

Will you please now help me.

As l come before my Lord and king.

That he would help in everything.

That we build the wall again.

To remove the ruble of sins stain.

Protect me from the enemy.

When they realise and now see.

That l am determined to renew.

Though seem weak and so few.

To build this wall with gates.

Just as the word of God states.

That each servant of yours.

Puts strong bars on their doors.

Be armed and be prepared.

For the attack that is feared.

As each one of us fulfils.

What our Lord councils.

John. 18:1-11

There will come time.

When the sacrifice of mine.

Seems such a disaster.

When I follow the master.

For l know he has a plan.

For each and every man.

Despite the enemy.

Seeming to have power over me.

The word in me is instilled

His purpose will be, fulfilled.

Ps. 148:7-14

Praise the Lord all the earth.

As we see God give new birth.

And restore things as before.

For those who recognise and saw.

The love of God proclaim.

There is great power in his name.

Prov. 29:16-21

Where foolishness is found.

Wickedness does abound.

Dec. 4

Colossians. 1-2

To know who Christ is.

That all power is his.

Is where our power derives.

From faith in our lives.

For he is over everyone

In the heavenly kingdom.

Supreme in all things.

And yet he now brings.

By his dying on the cross.

Payment for my loss.

So l can be near to him.

Who my only hope is in.

Not in what l do.

He alone does renew.

The spirit within me.

From sin sets me free.

That l might be a sign.

To all those friends of mine.

Of Christs power to transform.

When hope is forlorn.

No longer can they condemn.

The frailties of men.

John. 17:1-12

It may seem totally odd.

That the way we really know God

Is to know Christ as our Lord.

This cannot be ignored.

That he in humility did die.

Is the only reason why.

we have hope in this life.

Freedom from sin and strife.

Hope for all except those.

Who deliberately oppose.

Ps. 147:12-20

For all power is in him.

Who l have my faith in.

Nothing is to hard.

He holds the trump card.

To overcome all.

The large and the small

In this world of mine.

So l know l will be fine.

He is to be adored.

Give praises to the Lord.

Prov. 29:6-10

What does motivate.

Ensures your fate.

Dec 3

Josh. 22-24

Finally we have overcome.

We praise the Lord as one.

Then go our seperate ways.

Remembering what the Lord says.

United we will always come.

To serve Gods only Son.

And if come our worst fears.

That one of us no longer cares.

Be prepared to go to war.

But first see if can restore.

Remembering all the Lord.

Had done when in one accord.

As he he told us what to do.

From slavery and desert renew.

Our faith God did always bless.

When we felt in so much stress.

But now has come the day.

When l must leave the fray.

John. 16:19-33

When Jesus says he has got to go.

To a place you are yet to know.

It seems a mystery to all of us.

Why we can’t get on the bus.

And journey now with him.

No matter what strife get in.

Think we will be so brave.

Because the Lord gave.

Everything we need.

When following his lead.

But now seem all alone.

As venture into unknown.

Where the world that we see.

Seems totally against me.

Just remember there’s none

The Lord cannot overcome.

Ps. 147:1-11

Praise the Lord.

There’s nothing he can’t afford.

For all earth belongs to him.

In which he works his purpose in.

Yet to rely on all of his.

Must respect who he is.

If you listen to wisdom.

You can overcome anyone

Dec 2.

Josh. 19:24-21:45

All the promises God has given.

And specified the place we live in.

Each for their own need.

For the Lord has decreed.

Where each could have a home.

No longer the need to roam.

As they take their possession

Victorious in humble confession.

It was God that gave it all.

As they did indeed recall.

A safe place for even those.

Who some might feel to oppose

A place for those in need.

Those whose mission was to lead.

Finally now everybody knew.

Promises of God were true.

John. 16:12-18

There is so much more to know.

Beyond understanding here below.

But we now have the Holy Spirit.

Gives life and shows how to live it.

For Jesus in heaven is divine.

Teaches encourages in life of mine.

Though we may not know.

Where Jesus seemed to go.

Struggling to understand.

What he has now planed.

Pa. 2

The world is no longer free.

Seemed bound in captivity.

A slave to the power of sin.

Wicked is the world we live in.

But we would have to be nieve

To think that the way we believe.

Does not cause major disruption.

If not complete destruction.

But even then we see.

The Lord has come to bless me.

For it has become known.

Jesus is on the throne.

He alone can evil destroy.

Replacing worries with great joy.

Prov. 28:25-28

Those full of derision.

Lack Gods wisdom.

Dec. 1

Josh 16-19:23 struggling

The land to each designated.

Although from each separated.

Is all part of the same plan.

That God has for each man.

And for the women among you.

Who demand their portion too.

Though enemies are subdued.

There will be continuing feud.

Between what you know is yours.

And those the Lord abhors.

Even some who seem so strong.

In the land to you belong.

You must now clear the forest.

Showing the Lord you’re earnest.

Becoming that much stronger.

So the land is their’s no longer.

John. 16:1-11

Remember what Jesus says.

It won’t be easy in your days.

As many will oppose.

Those who l have chose.

But as l leave you alone.

Although sadly you do moan.

It is for you to understand.

The Holy Spirit will demand

Righteousness in your land.

Is your responseability too.

That daily is placed on you.

Suppling all you need.

As his life in you does lead

Ps. 130

From the depths of dispair.

I learn that you God do care.

How could l ever survive.

Even in old age stay alive.

So often l do see.

That you have gone before me.

Though so often l have failed.

In the stormy sea l sailed.

You have always been near.

Showing your love and care.

Prov. 28:21-24

If show integrity in all you do

Gods righteousness shines in you.

Nov. 30 Sunday. changed

Jeremiah. 31:31-37

Once you were a slave.

Trying desperately to behave.

But now I am free.

The Lord abides in me.

This is a new thing.

Where l need not bring.

Any of my strength.

God has gone to great length.

To satisfy all that l need.

In the life that l lead.

There is nothing to hard for him.

In the world that l live in.

Heb. 8

I need only honour Jesus.

For what he’s done to please us

Now sits in a place so supreme.

Hard to fathom what it does mean.

But all that l need to know.

He’s high, yet loves when I feel low.

So l am no longer on the shelf.

He says be a priest unto your self.

No longer a failure I am told.

My faith grows strong and so bold

Nov. 29

Joshua. 14-15

The remaining believers.

Were the receivers.

Of their special allotment.

Where they should be content.

As with Christ by their side.

And in him they abide.

For he would give victory in.

Those who are in opposition.

Was their supposition.

What was promised long ago.

They would now come to know.

To live in total peace.

For the Lord they did please.

With victory over most men.

Though some allowed to stay then.

John. 15-18-27

Always you should remember.

From January to December.

You too will be hurled.

With a abuse from this world.

There will be no pause.

They will hate without cause.

But the Spirit of truth is with you.

From the beginning in what you do

Ps. 65

What mighty praise Lord, belongs to you.

When l see in this world, everything you do.

You see and know all my cares.

Then faithfully answer my prayers.

Not even noticing my behaviour.

You are my Lord and saviour.

No matter how distant l may seem.

You fulfil my every dream.

As you everlasting love brings.

Amazing blessing in all things.

With joy we can shout.

Our God knows what he’s about.

Ps. 28:17-20

As wicket will know no peace.

Are blessed if Jesus we please.
