2Chron. 36-35

It is amazing when man, comes together rejoicing in Gods salvation plan.

A holy sanctified place, recognised as dedicated Godly space.

Each come to fulfil, the God of heavens will.

Each child of his, celebrates and rejoices.

Then choose to fight the enemy, who does not want to be in enmity.

They kill and destroy. Finishing that season of joy.

As new leaders were appointed, no longer by God anointed.

Evilness and corruption, leading to total destruction.

Of all Gods had called for, many long years before.

Despite the prophets call, to repent before you fall.

The king and people ignored, the word of the Lord.

Until the seventieth year, when Lord again showed his love and care.

Mark. 7:24-27

Even faith that comes from those, whose reputation was to oppose,

Will lead to total healing, as crumbs drop from Lords table on which we’re feeding.

When we bring to Jesus, all sorts of diseases.

He shows how much he cares, as he opens mute and deaf ears.

Huge crowd come to see, amazed at this mystery.

Ps. 119:113-120

Divided loyalties I do not like, seem to be always on a strike.

But I will read the word of the Lord, Where I get the life they have ignored.

Sustain me Lord for l must, learn in you alone I trust.

When I daily sit and read , l am amazed how you meet my every need.

Prov. 22:1-3

Good reputation , sound deliberation. Whether rich or poor, opens heavens door.

August 20

2Chron. 32-34

Though faithfully l tried my best, the enemies of God still did detest.

Treating alI l built with distain, and my God they did profane.

Lord I beg you rescue me, from him who has so powerfully.

Destroyed so many others, some even of my near brothers.

Because the Lord l did please, he destroyed all them with a disease.

They returned home in disgrace , their own judgment to face.

Then as I did confess, the Lord got me out of the mess

All the surrounding people saw, that as I followed Gods law.

Victory in all things I could claim, but then, so proud I became.

A new era then began, led by such an evil man.

Who destroyed all that had been done before. The God of heaven he chose to ignore.

Then went into captivity, confessed so God made him free.

To obey Gods law, like his fathers before.

Then evil again took place, that was a real disgrace.

The Lord he denied , right up on until he died.

A young leader then arose, who straight away chose.

To serve the Lord, and live in accord.

To what Gods word said, encouraging the people he led.

The Lords promise he heard, destruction won’t his life disturb.

Mark 7:14-23

Not what goes in all the while, that in the end will defile.

But what in response comes out, that in the end leaves no doubt.

Of the evilness of the soul, and destroys the whole.

Christ can sanctify the heart, and from worlds sins set you apart.

No longer need to avoid, for sin is totally devoid.

Ps. 119:105-112

Your word is a lamp to guide my feet, a light for the path l keep.

I will try once again, though l have been through so much pain.

As I follow what your word says, Lord my hearts full of praise.

For the wicket have set traps deliberately, but your word promises to set me free. I am determined to keep your every decree.

Prov 21;28-31

The false and wicket will try to bluff, but the Lord is always just enough. So you remain free, he says learn to trust me.

August 19

2Chron. 29-31. religious

Come now to rededicate your heart. To return to where you did start.

Calls for a total cleansing. So again we can rejoice with singing.

The Lords deliverance at Eucharist , The way remembrance exists.

What joy as we think about it , from slavery freed we don’t doubt it

Now we should bring everything, to Jesus our Saviour, Lord and King.

Mark. 7:1-13

Religious tradition can mean, the goodness of God is not seen.

You live in such a way, that avoids others needs of the day.

Ignoring the truth in the law, that has love at its very core.

Yet you claim to believe. Fools you don’t God deceive.

Ps 119:97-104

Lord how l love to do, what l know pleases you.

Your word is my constant guide, come Holy Spirit in me abide.

That my life might display, the truth of what you do say.

Prov. 21:24-27

Tradition and wrong motives , wrong first impression gives.

August 18

2 Chron. 25-28. decisions

So often we see, as we look back on history.

Those leaders who commit to , always God follow you.

Then there were those, who chose to oppose.

Bowing to Gods, that were totally at odds.

With Gods eternal purpose , they brought down a curse on us.

The world’s history would tell, things go oh so well.

If people live in accord , to the will of the Lord.

Mark 6:45-56

Straight after see Gods great blessing , we are in this storm guessing.

Then the Lord does come, astounding everyone.

On the stormy sea, he calms the worries in me.

So we cross to the other side, where see his power override

Giving hope to those ,who felt the whole world did oppose.

Ps. 119:89-96

Lord l know you are here, l will always be under your care.

Your faithfulness extends to all, who respond to your call.

For you have a master plan, for the salvation of man.

Your word gives life, leads me from trouble and strife.

Though the wicked would kill, l will remain doing your will.

Prov. 21:20:23

Lord I will pursue you , in everything I do.

August 17

2Chron. 22-24. troubles

The leader the church appointed, faith in God became disjointed.

Following the evil advice, got Gods people into real strife.

Revolting those who saw, for they wanted a return to Gods law.

But then a queen arose, determined that she would oppose.

So tried to extinguish and kill, all that followed Gods will.

But one that God had selected, by the priest was protected.

To finally rise up and restore, faith in God like before.

But sadly came the day, when he too turned away.

Killed all of those, who this wickedness did oppose.

To turn to false gods, that was totally at odds.

With the perfect law of the Lord. that he now disdained and ignored.

Mark. 6:30-44

Jesus sees we need some rest, to operate at our best.

Takes us far away , so we can be still for a day.

Then crowd in need saw, and were there just like before.

Away from any people or town, where sustenance could be found.

But Jesus supplied all we did need, Some left over after everyone had had a good feed.

Ps. 119:81-88

I am worn out waiting for Gods rescue. , yet I try to do everything he asks me too.

How long must l wait, for God to seal my fate.

Destroy all those, who Gods will oppose.

Have mercy on me, deliver from the troubles I flee.

In your unfailing love, give me peace, from my Father above.

Prov. 21:17-29

Those who love pleasure ignore, advice to be still, so God can restore.

August 16 Sunday victory

Exd. 15:26. Ps. 103:1-5 1Pet. 2:24

The Lord says look at the cards I deal, play what you see and I will heal.

How good my God is, all heaven and earth is his.

As l live through each day, I see the good cards I have to play.

To win because of his mercy, he personally dealt just to me.

By his shed blood I can come right, healed from this world’s blight.

By his broken body he saved. From the cards that I poorly played.

August 14

2Chron. 19-21

When Gods appointed leader returned, it was then from Gods word he learned.

He had been so wrong, in supporting those who to the world belong.

Yet then he went out , serving the Lord so there was no doubt.

That all his people understood, we must serve God for our own good.

Judging right in every way, Gods righteousness to display.

Then he was horrified to find the fact , a huge army was about to attack.

He cried before the Lord, this great threat cannot be ignored.

Then he was told , in God you can be bold.

Go out to meet the enemy, you will see Gods delivery.

So while marching out singing in praise, the Lord destroyed all opposition within days.

Their riches he said are mine, so returned home feeling sublime.

But then all over again , joined those who treated God with disdain.

Their hopes all destroyed. For God was annoyed.

A new leader then appointed, Gods people he so disappointed.

Finally to die, and we all know why.

Mark 6:14-29

The word soon spread, to the authority, who always refused to bow the knee.

Their destiny as lord and master, was just turning out a disaster.

As they decided to kill, the one God used for his to fulfil

The purpose of Gods kingdom, recognised by everyone.

Ps. 119: 73-80

You made and created in me, a desire to hear Gods word joyfully.

That many will come to admire, the Holy Spirit fire.

That sets all men free, in Gods love and mercy.

Prov. 21:14-26

Come for secretly, God will set free.

Aug. 14

2Chron. 16-18

From victory to defeat, Gods purpose no longer meet.

When seek support from those, who all things of God oppose.

No confidence to now believe. Gods deliverance could receive.

Then deny it was your fault, Gods blessings brought to a halt.

Then a new leader came to power , Gods kingdom to blossom and flower.

As he led his people to finally see, praise of God made them debt free.

Making peace with your Christian brother, even though they worshipped another.

Persuaded even to go out to fight though Gods word said it’s not right.

Heard but believed a lie. You had to wonder why?

Believers involved in the defeat, Gods purpose impossible to meet.

If join in battle with those, who deliberately Gods word oppose.

Mk 6:1-13

When you return home, where your background is known.

And people now see, God through you working powerfully.

They refuse to believe, and Gods message to receive.

Because they saw a carpenter instead, yet in Christ I had been led.

To heal and restore. They refused chose to largely ignore.

So Jesus did not delay. Saying to us now it’s your day.

His will to supply your every need, as you let Christ lead.

To heal and restore, so the world just cannot ignore.

That Christ is right here, forever to care

Ps. 19:65-72

I can never moan, for Gods goodness I have always known.

Teaching me to know, he truly love me so.

I believe if Christ in you, he will teach you all things to do.

Though I wandered away. I follow Lord again today.

God you are so good, the arrogant have never understood.

Their hearts so dull they do not see. That even suffering is good for me.

Prov. 21:10-13

The evil and unmerciful, Will their own destruction fulfil.

August 13

2Chron. 12-15

There remained devision, but some remained in mission.

Yet were unfaithful to their Lord. Not living fully in accord.

With Christs will, Gods purpose to fulfil.

But then cry again to the Lord, and again God did them afford.

A great victory , that made them free.

But still there was this war, with the brother they had before.

That fought with them anew disparaging the God they knew.

When the fight carried on. It strengthened faith in God that we relied upon.

Establishing Gods kingdom, in a time of neutral freedom.

Despite an outside attack , given victory as we fought back.

Mark. 5:31-43

In the middle of the crowd, I wept as I bowed,

Before the Lord who had healed, my total faith in him now sealed.

But then another’s faith died, as their hope in Christ died.

But Jesus said, it is not dead.

Come with me, from death l will set you free.

I will raise you to new health just keep it to yourself.

Oh Lord you are my delight, I cannot keep that from the worlds sight.

Ps. 119:57-64

Lord you are mine, if follow you I will be fine.

Evil people try to delay, you having your way.

I rise at midnight to thank you, for victory in what I do.

Your unfailing love I see, teach me all your ways I plea.

Prov. 21-7-9

The violence of the wicket sweeps them away. It is lonely to follow the Lords in his way.

August 11

2Chron. 8-11

God establishes his earthly kingdom, where riches on earth can be won.

Wisdom gold great wealth seen, revealing what being children of God could mean.

The world came to see, how God gave wisdom and riches unbelievably.

Amazed at Gods temple, that also was an example.

Of all that my God is, magnificence so glorious.

Then when that era ended, the new leader proudly offended.

The people he did rule, arrogantly thinking he was so cool.

Dividing Gods kingdom, rebellion against Gods chosen one.

For they needed to learn , the people’s trust they needed to earn.

To again become strong, for to God they did still belong.

Just like the reformation, it is really about a godly relation.

Mark. 5:21-30

As Jesus moved on, a priest came from.

A place of need, looking for Jesus to lead.

To heal and restore, health like was before.

Then on the way, on that very day.

The desperate came to touch, for they had heard so much.

About the healing power of Jesus, for even the weak amoung us.

Then we had to admit, when we did feel it.

That even the likes of me, can be disease totally free.

Ps. 119 :49-56

Remember Lord your promise to me. Comfort so I can be free.

To meditate on your ways, all of my days.

My life task, doing all that you ask.

To join with all others, in Christ now as brothers.

Prov. 21:4-6

Haughty eyes a proud heart. From presence of God depart.
