2Chron. 25-28

The rise and fall of many.

Is Gods peoples destiny.

If they put trust in him.

They always seem to win.

But when they again rebel.

What Gods word does tell.

Defeat and disaster comes.

Even to God the Fathers sons.

Who never seem to learn

It’s Gods favour need to earn.

John. 12:20-36

Unless the gate is shut tight.

You will not see Gods might.

No longer is it your life alone.

It is then Jesus becomes known.

You then will hear the Lord say.

Through your life I will display.

Now just for a time.

I will show you are mine.

So now you can go and hide

While in Jesus you do abide.

Ps. 102:12-17

But you Lord are always the same.

When people call on your name

Revealing who you are.

Drawing us from afar.

To always worship you.

As you our faith renew.

Even when feeling poor.

You open heavens door.

Prov. 27:10-12

Go to those who care.

When your hearts full of fear.

2Chron. 22-24

The way Gods temple is built.

Depends on the persons guilt.

Whether they live in accord.

The purposes of the Lord.

To retain a holy place.

That will then displace.

The wickedness all around.

In Gods kingdom found.

Then rebellion starts again.

Causing the church great pain.

Until faithful restore.

As it was before.

History shows since then.

That’s been the pattern

John. 12:12-19

Until that day.

The Lord will portray.

Again he is supreme.

No doubt what that does mean.

All will know just why.

The world we made will die.

Ps. 102:1-11

As l grow old.

I am no longer bold.

Fearfully l see.

Everything against me.

Nothing now seems right.

I’m in a constant fight.

No longer feeling fine.

This now the life of mine.

Prov. 27:7-9

When everything is right.

Darkness becomes a shining light.

2 Chron. 19-21

While free and have got out.

When knowing what he was about

It will now damage you.

Because of what you did do.

Then vast enemy will come.

They will frighten everyone.

So call to all Gods people.

For you know you are feeble.

Feel God will not be ignored.

Let’s all pray to the Lord.

To go forth with praise.

He will help as his word says.

To amazingly defeat.

The vast enemy we meet.

But then again.

We see sins stain.

Destroy all that we gain.

Leaving people in great pain.

John. 12:1-11

As we are gathered around.

To Jesus we are bound.

As are raised up in.

Jesus is within

With oil do anoint

To some disappoint.

While others are much worse.

Shout rage and curse.

For they cannot win

If we believe in him.

Ps. 76

God is totally supreme.

In him is victory seen.

Power and such might.

In him only is light.

Before him now bow.

Fulfill you lifelong vow.

Prov. 27:4-6

Don’t be surprised

When your ways are despised

The Lord expects much of you.

Now he’s shown you what to do.

To show leadership and be brave.

For you are no longer just a slave.

Remember what Gods word says.

Take it with you always.

Then others will learn to follow.

As see your faith is not hollow.

Be strong and full of courage.

The Lord says I will encourage.

For when they hear what you say.

They will come with you some day

John. 27:11-14

Teach me your ways Lord.

That l might live in an accord.

With all you ask me to do.

Although there will be a few.

Who hate what l am about to do.

But l am confident of this.

That l will not now miss.

As l quietly now wait.

Knowing the Lord holds my fate.

2 Cor. 5:6-10

l am confident as l survive.

I am in the Lord alive.

But if instead.

If Im dead.

I still win.

Because I’m with him.

So whatever I do.

Lord may it please you.

2 Chron. 16-18

Asa

After Lord has given success.

Know he gave power to possess.

They reach out to world ways.

Despite what Gods word says.

Then in their walk become lame.

Get all bitter in their shame.

Until they finally die.

And the Lord passes them by.

Jehoshaphat.

Then raises up a new man.

Who trusts that the Lord can.

Do all that Gods word says.

If you walk in the Lords ways.

Careful not to then befriend.

Out go to battle to defend.

When ask whether or not.

Word tells victory he’s not got.

Though been told deceptively.

He will have total victory.

Then will see him die.

Because he believed the lie.

John. 11:38-37

Lazarus

Now hear same old story.

When Jesus portrayed his glory

It causes a huge uproar.

Just too hard to ignore.

Religious will even then still.

Refuse to do Gods will.

Because might lose their power.

That they have in this hour.

Far better to now this man kill.

So we can be in power still.

Gods purpose unknowingly fill.

So they really are doing his will.

Ps. 81.

Sing to the Lord all your days.

Listen to what his word says.

And he will always bless you.

He again will his promise renew.

If only we would listen to him.

Who our victory is in.

Prov. 27:1-3

Do not boast or think you are.

Proudly better than others by far.

2Chron. 12-15

When thought they were strong.

They set out and to do wrong.

Go to any length.

Depending on their strength.

When I stand against them.

With much fewer men.

The Lord is on my side.

For in us he does abide.

Though always at war.

In the Lord we still saw.

Deliverance from those.

Who would constantly oppose.

The Lord became so annoyed.

In the end they were destroyed.

Amongst this great fuss.

The Lord was blessing us.

John. 11:28-37

When it was told me.

Come out and you will see.

Though feeling so hopeless.

At least Jesus will be with us.

Lord why weren’t you here.

To help when needed care.

As I wept before him

With deep sorrow within.

He did sympathise.

As hope in me dies.

And others claim he.

Cannot be with me.

Ps. 50

The Lord of earth comes.

To the righteous he summons.

To the place where we will see.

Total victory.

We cannot just give to him.

If we think that will make us win.

For he is mighty and strong.

Has been in control all along.

To deliver me.

And set me free.

While others will be found.

In arrogance be bound.

But l will always thank him.

Who l put my faith in.

Prov. 26:27-28

You will receive

Exactly what you believe.

2 Chron. 8-11

God blessed his kingdom on earth.

Now riches and honour gave birth.

It was such a glorious day.

When Gods blessing was on display.

Then the king was laid to rest.

Argument rose who was the best.

The temple remained and drew

Those who realised that they knew

Where power of God really lay.

Leaving there home on that day

To live where they were beside.

The place where God did abide.

Knowing again he would bless.

As they him their ruler confess

John. 11:17-27

When what seems totally dead

Jesus comes who had always led

Me in my journey of life.

Delivering me out of all strife.

He said don’t you now believe.

That you will still receive

Yes Lord you know that I do.

I will always believe in you

Ps. 8

Lord how amazing you are

Above all things on earth by far.

Amazing it is to me too.

That l can even come to you.

For honour and glory is yours.

Yet even so you opened the doors

For me to receive from you

So on earth I will glorify you

Prov. 26:23-26

The deceptive cannot be believed

Spirit of God they’ve not received

2 Chron 5-7

When my temple is complete.

Jesus within takes his seat.

To listen to my plea.

Please now forgive me.

Humbly I pray to God holy

For l know I’m a man of folly.

You have the right.

To make my problems light

All things that would impede.

The planting of the seed

That would grow to glorify you.

In worship and faith in what l do.

For if l do not.

I will lose the lot.

John. 11:1-16

Sometimes our dream will die.

We ask can you tell us why.

He says he will delay.

So you truly know my way.

And know who l am.

You faith not just a sham.

And you might follow too.

Though it may just frighten you.

All down through history.

You have come to set us free.

The people of the Lord

When they your help implored.

May it now be the same.

As I cry out in your name.

That all men come to you.

1 Chron. 26-29

Here we see

Preparations to be free.

The people who our King will give.

To support world in which we live.

To build a temple divine.

From the inheritance of mine

For now as l am getting old.

The next generation must be bold.

Carrying on my dream to build.

In which Gods glory will be filled.

John 10:11-21

Jesus is the shepherd of all.

While I answer to his call.

There will always be some.

Who deny he is Gods Son.

They come to deceive.

Those who do believe.

For his life he gave.

For the world to save.

Ps. 133

How precious in unity to live.

That our Father can now give.

The oil of anointing.

To those God is appointing.

Such blessing to see.

For both you and me.

Prov. 26:7-12

Somethings are just a disaster.

Don’t help you follow the master.
