2 Sam. 7:18-11:27

Amazing it does seem.

Considering what l have been.

The Lord would choose me.

To lead people to victory.

That where you have me seated.

I will see the enemy defeated.

The large and the small.

I will defeat them all.

In love l will restore.

Those who were strong before.

Sympathise with those.

Who once l did oppose.

Everybody I understood.

I seemed to be so good.

But I let desire.

My integrity mire.

And then l tried to cover.

The relationship with my lover.

The lengths l went to deceive.

Killed those who did believe.

John. 2:1-11

When all good I have to give.

Is gone from the life l live.

Christ says l can restore.

Much better than before.

Just fill up your flask.

Go fulfil your given task.

Ps. 110

For the Lord is king.

Above everything.

It is only because of him.

That enables me to win.

Alone I will never.

He is my priest forever.

Prov. 23;6-9

You must be very aware.

Of those who don’t care.

Oct. 5 Sunday Courage.

Est. 4;9-5:3. Heb. 4:7-16

In the hour of greatest need.

The word of God you must heed.

To do it all and be bold.

Now’s the time to do as told.

If won’t and do not do.

Others will perish just like you.

Pray and fast just be brave.

See how God then will save.

God has day now ordained.

The word of God is explained.

The path that you must follow.

Faith in Christ must not be hollow.

For our High Priest does always see

All the troubles facing me.

Confident l now feel brave.

Knowing Jesus is here to save.

Oct 4

2 Sam. 3:22-7:17

When Lord establishes you.

In what you were destined to do.

Others will join your fight.

And do what they thing right.

But it is the Lord who selects.

The presumptuous he rejects.

That all men then may see.

It’s God who gave me victory.

For l will worship him.

His power comes from within.

Then realise that the Lord.

Can only come aboard.

Through the sacrifice of Lamb.

Not through the efforts of man.

This will be the sign.

Victory forever will be mine.

John. 1:43-51

Can anything good come.

Then see Jesus is the one.

Who knows my own heart.

Surely this is just the start.

Of the journey you will take.

Of the person you will make.

Of the things you will see.

As you travel on with me.

Ps. 23.

How amazing it is.

That l as a child of his.

Know protection every day.

As l try and find my way.

Though valley and steep ravine.

Despite what it might seem

I know the Lord is near.

Therefore l now have no fear.

My faith in him not hollow.

Him alone l will follow.

Prov. 23:4-5

In Christ alone l will rely.

Riches make my faith die

2 Sam. 1-3:21

When those who opposed die.

Don’t celebrate but cry.

For they Lord had known you.

Your purposes they once knew.

Now should ask the Lord.

Is it now in accord.

To go where men will bow.

Again honour me now.

Still there will be some.

Will not accept Gods one.

Be patient and wait.

For God to work out your fate.

For the day will come.

When God unites as one.

John. 1:29-42

When see Jesus come.

Now recognise the one.

Who is greater than you.

Will peoples faith renew.

Men will then say.

It is a special day

I will follow him.

Feels like I’m on a win

As I will proclaim.

I will never be the same.

Ps. 131

I am not proud.

Yet nor am I cowed.

For I’m like a child.

Innocent not defiled.

Always can cope.

For in God alone my hope.

When think you are so cool.

Eph. 4:17-6

Just as the way you live.

Enables God to give.

So in all of your ways.

Obey what God’s word says.

Beware of those.

Who God’s will oppose.

Remembering you have to fight.

For you are God’s light

And show that you are strong.

Though they claim you are wrong.

Putting on God’s armour.

For this will be your protector.

To use what God’s given.

With Spirit power within

John. 1:14-28

Jesus gave up heavens glory.

That he might enter our story.

We have no right to claim.

To any fame.

We are only here.

To say you must beware.

And not to ever miss.

This given power of his.

Ps. 29.

Ascribe to the Lord all.

On earth large or small.

The glory due his name.

Nothing on earth the same.

He goes to such great length.

To give us power and strength.

So we give glory to his name.

He alone deserves the fame.

Prov. 22:26-29

When show that you care.

God will overcome all fear.

Lev. 16. 223:26-32

Atonement for when hope dies

Know and now recognise.

Your own unworthiness.

And your deep sinfulness.

Before a God that is holy.

Your life full of sin and folly.

As you come all together.

Like birds of a feather.

Mth. 9:1-14 Hen. 11:13-16

Now we can all come.

Christ invites everyone.

Through the blood of the Lamb.

He has saved sinful man.

No longer in self pity.

As look forward to the new city.

1Sam27-31

A litany of sadness.

Highlighting how bad man is.

Yet the Lord was seen there.

Showing he really did care.

That what he had in mind.

Was to in the end find.

A true and faithful man.

Who had done all he can.

To work in accord

With the purpose of the Lord

Mth. 29:11-20

When they have thought.

The truth they will distort.

The Lord will display.

On the very next day.

He is with you.

In all that you do.

So go on your way.

Telling what he did say

Even though others lie.

About why he did die.

And how rose again.

For a world that was in pain.

Ps. 63

O Lord l long for you

In everything that l do.

I thirst for the days.

When you blessed my ways.

Protect me from those.

Who my life in Christ oppose.

That I might again glory.

In your amazing story.

Sept 28 Sunday Hope

Eze 37:1-14

Mth. 27:50-53

When faith seems so dry.

In sadness we ask why?

Everything now seems so dead.

Life, now hopelessness instead

Speak into those old bones.

New life instead of moans.

Even the Lord cries out.

It fills us with such doubt

As the curtain is torn.

Then what was dead is reborn.

New life now did appear

Right amongst us, right here.

Sept 24

1 Sam. 16-17

When Gods chosen rejected.

A new leader is expected.

That will then be anointed.

To one day be appointed.

Despite seemed so small.

By brothers and all.

Gods Spirit was in him.

Giving confidence to win.

In all areas of his life.

Without sword or even knife.

To prove to those all around.

Only in God his strength found.

Mth. 27:32-44

While Gods followers did mourn.

As the world looked on with scorn.

God had a plan.

For salvation of man.

What looked like a disaster.

And people cursed our master.

It caused such a fuss.

Yet done solely for us.

Ps. 68:1-18

May my God now arise.

Much to our surprise.

As a saviour to all.

To those world sees as small.

While the powerful will flee.

They are Gods enemy.

But l will rejoice in him.

Who allowed me to win.

To ascend on his mountain.

Him alone l can count on.

In your life you will be known.

By the values you have shown.

When I do see.

The enemy.

Must cross that space.

To come face to face.

So God will defeat.

Whatever l meet.

Then everyone.

Will follow Gods Son.

With their focus on him.

Who gave them the win.

Beware of the pride.

Thinking Gods on your side.

Then to disobey.

Thinking sacrifice okay.

Yet not in accord.

With the word of the Lord.

Mth. 27:11-31

Man’s refusal to believe.

Hard to conceive.

Just how those.

So violently oppose.

Who the Lord is.

So completely do miss.

What is happening right now.

And before our Lord bow.

Ps. 91.

When you have no doubt.

The Lord knows what it’s about.

When facing what might seem.

The worst you could dream.

To the Lord you should go.

For then you will know.

He will rescue you.

In all that you do.
