Rev. 5-9. Last days.

Christ has come at last.

The lamb as judge is cast.

The world that is mine.

Meets he who is divine.

Who our faith defends.

With wickedness contends.

Defeated but he alone.

Is worthy to atone.

To open the book.

For world to look.

Praise honour glory acclaim.

Given to the lambs who was slain.

Then we all are told.

Of disaster that will unfold.

As each horse and rider comes out.

What caused it to come about.

Then I saw.

A world at war.

Men who murder.

Desperate with hunger

Famine and plague.

Yet faith portrayed.

Coming long delayed

Then earth destroyed.

Cannot now avoid.

Though there will be some.

Say come Lord come.

All dressed in white.

They will have the right.

To stand before throne.

Singing glory to him alone.

Without worldly fear.

Now under his care.

Prayers like incense.

Overcome any offence.

This world cannot avoid.

Being totally destroyed.

Woe! Woe! Woe!

Wherever people go.

Their situation dire.

In sulphur smoke and fire.

Despite all that was sent.

Still refused to repent.

Mark 10:23-34

The rich and the famous.

Don’t realise how dangerous.

When not needy.

Their life can be.

Yet even still

If in Gods will

They give up all.

To answer Gods call.

To where he would beckon.

Will be rewarded in heaven.

Despite present victory.

Of the enemy

Ps. 121

Lift my eyes to Lord on high.

This is only reason why.

I am confident still.

That Lord always will.

Protect and provide.

For he walks by my side.

My hope is in him.

Though my eyes may go dim

Prov. 12:23-24

Prudent keep silent

So fools don’t vent.

Rev 1-4

He is seated on heavens throne.

All come and worship him alone.

Has authority over all the earth.

Alpha and Omega gives new birth.

Sends angels to protect and save.

Teach those who follow, to behave.

In each one he sees the good.

Pain and suffering understood

Our weakness and infirmity

Knows each one’s frailty

Now forgotten our Lord above.

That adoration of first love.

Though think we are now so poor.

Remember what was like before.

Beware of enemy who will twist.

Truth, so can’t see through the mist.

Here among you is that Jezebel.

Don’t listen to what she would tell.

Know of your great reputation.

Yet lost all Gods inspiration.

Though often feeling so poor.

Before you is heavens open door.

Now you’re neither cold or hot.

Do you want me, or do you not?

But then I see Christ in glory

Want a part in this his great story.

Mark 10:13-22

Jesus loves the attitude of the child.

Trusting totally in him reconciled.

Older now and comes to him.

Ask how can we get his approval in.

This life we have lived so well

Says your dearest possession, sell.

Disillusioned in dismay.

Will I then, just walk away.

Ps. 117

Praise the Lord he his here.

I am under his love and care.

Prov. 12:20-22

Deceit in the heart.

Like dung in the cart.

Peace that you deploy.

Brings happiness and joy.

1Kings. 21-22. choices

When desire the wrong thing.

The Lord in end will bring.

Disaster on you.

And everything you do.

Though repent in despair.

Not want really to hear

The battles you fight.

That seems to be right.

The word of the Lord

Is not taken aboard.

Randomly you will die.

All people will know why.

Yet there will be still

Some leaders who will.

Honour God in this life.

Who keep out of strife.

Mark 10:1-12

When asked about law.

Real meaning at the core.

Jesus with a sigh.

Explains just why.

The original plan.

Was the best for man.

To do otherwise.

Gods purpose denies.

Ps. 82

It is God who presides.

Over who leads and decides.

Whether to help the poor.

Or just those who want more.

If you think you are smart.

But don’t know Gods heart.

If that is the case.

God will replace.

Prov. 12:18-19

Truth endures forever.

Lies will never.

I have been inclined to steal.

What others have, I feel.

Is what I want right now.

Though conscience won’t allow.

I am taking it anyway.

What will people say?

And despite all I’m taught.

Oh no, now I am caught.

Rightfully accused.

Ignored and abused.

But Jesus comes quite near.

Calls come to me, do not fear.

I am coming to your place.

Despite what the bible says.

Amazing he does not see.

The unworthiness of me.

For he points out.

It is what he’s all about.

He comes and sups with me.

Disappointments gone, completely.

1Kings16-18. overcome

The rulers of today

Have lived as if to say.

Don’t believe in the bible.

Their leadership unreliable.

Until evil will reign.

Little faith does remain.

When I say l don’t agree.

What trouble l will see.

When announce to men.

The wickedness of them.

The Lord will protect.

Where they least expect.

Though struggle it seems.

God supplies the means.

Now surely you will know.

Protection wherever you go.

So then he says must go back.

I’m not afraid of their attack.

Mark 9:30-37

Lord takes to secret place.

Tells of troubles to face.

When I can only see.

What’s in it for me.

But I must now learn.

Many will now spurn.

As servant of him.

When he abides within.

Ps. 108.

My heart is steadfast.

Determined to last.

Know I will be fine.

Through saviour of mine.

Though world in a fuss.

And have rejected us.

l don’t really care.

I know you are here.

Prov. 12:14

When do good things.

Gods blessing it brings.

1Kings 14-15. overcomer

As Lord looks down from heaven.

Sees the tribulations of us men.

For his purpose appointed.

Whether or not anointed.

To fulfil God’s purpose now.

Or to other gods bow.

The consequences felt.

As God is left right out.

Of our prayers and thought.

As each battle is fought.

No longer to see now.

His truth and his power.

Mark 9:14-29

When confronted with trouble.

Is my faith just straw and stubble.

For Jesus the bible does say.

Will make all problems go away.

So I can be free of care.

As spend my time in prayer.

Ps. 101

My heart focused on you.

In everything l do.

Lord my every desire.

Is to really aspire.

To fulfil your purpose here.

To know and be aware.

Of the Spirit you give.

That I might victory live.

Prov. 12:12-13

Wicked desires to overcome.

That desire in me

to know Gods Son.

The world to see.

1Kings. 12-13. blessing or cursing.

Torn church in two.

So God can renew.

Because of past rebellion.

Wickedness now within.

Whatever they say.

Will not have their way.

Divided into two.

Smallest follows you.

Will be Lords domain.

Now to remove sins stain.

Start another day.

Listen to what God does say.

I must now accept

If Gods will to be met.

Mark. 9:1-13

Jesus has put into effect.

What only some detect.

Takes to the mountain.

Shall taste from holy fountain

Special time and place.

See Jesus’s glorious face.

And men of renown

Then come back down.

Ps. 128

Blessed those who fear the Lord.

They are able to afford.

Luxuries here on earth.

Their lives give new birth.

Nothing will annoy.

A life full of joy.

Prov. 12:10-11

Steadily do Gods will.

His purposes fulfil.

1Kings. 8-9. accountable.

Today Lord build your temple.

That I might be a godly example.

That all that come to me

I might bless and you set free.

From afflictions they do bear.

That you show love and care.

Heal and forgive those who come.

Give new life through your Son.

Come into that holy place.

To know and see your face.

Even as they believe.

They too will receive.

All that you will give.

As confess and you forgive.

That all might now proclaim.

Such riches in your name.

What joy it’s is to behold.

When we do what we are told.

Mark 8:14-26

Not self-righteous but the least.

Will be invited to the feast.

Foolishly I then do say.

I have nothing to give today.

Have I forgotten what he did.

Open what I thought was hid.

Food of heaven so all could see.

Through the fog so not clearly.

Rub the mud from my eyes.

Oh what such a surprise.

Now can see all you do.

Everything comes into view.

Ps. 47

Clap hands the whole world shout

When they see what Gods about.

Now know it is him alone.

Who sits upon heavens throne.

All will know what it will mean.

For now they would have seen.

That they can find no fault.

In him who we alone exalt.

You are either in or out.

No comparison no doubt.

1 Kings 6-7. Confidence

When God directs

He builds and perfects.

His temple to proclaim.

His beauty and fame.

That none can deny.

Or question why.

Or think it odd.

That you worship God.

Mark. 8:1-13

When Christ sees a need.

He multiplies to feed.

To help those who are poor.

That the rich would ignore.

For they refuse to see.

That he came to set free.

To bless and to save.

In life and from grave.

The Lord reigns.

His creation explains.

His glory and beauty.

Worship our duty.
