Judges 2

To walk in the fear of the Lord.

Is to know he will accord.

New life when you say

Will you please save me today.

So you can rescue me.

I’ve put out a sign you can see.

Then when destruction comes

We will be the favoured ones.

Acts 9 :29-30

No longer the enemy spy.

For I am ready to die.

For now l have seen.

What victory in God does mean.

Now that Christ in me abides

I have completely changed sides.

July 9

Judg. 4-6

Again our eyes are off him.

Desperate are led into sin.

Captive to our mind.

No hope for mankind.

Then as l read Gods word.

Once again I heard.

Jesus Christ is with us

Why in such a fuss?

Go out there and defeat.

The enemy you will meet.

He has given a sign.

The risen Christ is mine.

Mth. 16:1-12

When you looking elsewhere.

For sign that God does care.

The cross Jesus died on.

Now risen can be relied upon

Don’t listen to what you hear.

That fills your heart with fear.

For you have already seen.

What following God can mean.

Ps. 119:57-64

Lord for all of my days.

I have considered your ways.

Have thought to follow you.

In everything l try to do.

For I see you give from above.

Your all encompassing love.

Lord please cheer me up.

Judges. 1-3

Jesus our saviour seems gone.

Have to prove to who l belong.

Now to defeat the enemy.

And possess our land completely

Otherwise to idols we will bow.

That God has forbidden to allow.

So God will then once again.

Rescue us from the pain.

By men he sent to lead.

Deliver from our desperate need.

Mth. 15:29-39

Jesus left for another place.

To where desperate had to face.

Despair in total defeat.

For him their needs to meet.

Again he saw the need.

Gave the crowd a feed.

Victory for all in dismay

Then went on his way.

Ps. 119:49-56

Lord l remember your word.

That l have read and heard.

That supports me in life.

Despite others see strife.

As l go to war.

With enemies of your law.

I stand on your name.

In victory once again.

Prov. 17:18-21

If watch what they do.

Reveals motive to you.

Obadiah

God has made a call.

Yet world sees you as small.

Especially when you state.

Look I am so great.

Things taken from.

You wanted all along.

A disaster does await.

Is going to be your fate.

Those who were on your side.

Your relationship now has died.

In disaster they stood aloof.

This seems all the proof.

So you have God annoyed.

And now will be destroyed.

But then I will see.

Deliverance just for me.

God will then say yes.

It is all yours to possess.

2 John.

I just want to say.

This is a new day.

When nothing is above

Our unity and our love.

As we today.

Learn to obey.

Some will have big talk.

But be careful where you walk.

Make sure as you follow him.

The Lords Spirit abides within.

Mth. 15;1-14

As they come to accuse.

It then hits the news.

All things they’re doing wrong.

What’s been ignored all along.

Jesus told you from the start.

It’s what comes from the heart.

Even if does offend.

It will come to an end.

Ps. 119:33-40

Teach me Lord all you say.

Give me understanding today.

That l might really see.

You purpose done through me.

As l do live in accord.

With the word of the Lord.

1 Peter:1-5

We followers of Christ should.

Do all things as he would.

Who saved us with a sacrifice.

In a world that was not to nice.

It’s your faith that will show.

Lead the world to rejoice and know.

How holy our God is.

Our lives should show this.

That you can come to him.

The living stone you trust in.

While others may ignore.

For you it’s heavens open door.

For then by doing good.

Gods goodness can be understood.

As by His wounds you are healed.

In your life truth is revealed.

Not from outward riches.

That men the world over bewitches.

But by doing good things

How peace of God it brings.

Even as you do all this.

You will realise you will not miss.

The rewards that will come.

When Gods will on earth is done.

In problems with one another.

Just like Christ you could suffer.

Be encouraged to be strong.

It is to our God we do belong.

Mth. 14:22-36

When Jesus goes away.

Seems not such a good day.

Suddenly he is right here.

Miraculously he did appear.

Amazed can I come, I call out.

Come, but you must not doubt.

But then l see the waves.

He reaches out and saves

He says you should not fear.

You know l’m always here.

Amazed now we carry on.

Seemed to everyone he did belong.

Knowingly they too appealed.

That they also might be healed.

Ps. 119:25-32

Lord when l feel so low.

May your word then show.

Even when may look odd.

The goodness of my God.

That I in faith understand.

Against troubles make a stand.

Are they evil are they good?

May Gods ways be understood?

Deut. 32:29-34:12

All we have to do.

Lord keep our eyes on you.

Not like others today.

Who look a different way.

Our Rock our only strength.

Saves and will go to any length.

Others are just so feeble.

In the face of his people.

For God is the only one.

Gives victory when said and done.

All nations will now see.

How God defeats the enemy.

I from mountain have now seen.

Mine it could well have been.

But l cannot there now go.

Time for others to really know.

As they get to participate.

In building the nation state

As God gives a helping hand.

To possess the promised land.

As they see their enemies flee.

I’m just a distant memory.

Mth. 15:13-21

After hearing what is sad.

Cross to where can be had.

Healing for the crowd

Food for hungry is endowed.

No need to send away.

Truly an amazing day.

Ps. 119:17-24

Though the world my enemy.

Your word reveals my victory.

I search it every day.

To see what it does say.

Though they would fight.

Your word is my delight.

Prov. 17:7-10

In each life can be seen.

Good things or the mean.

Sunday Aug. 3 Positive thinking.

1Sam 17:4-51. Eph. 6:10-18

In life there will be a fight.

Overwhelming in worlds sight.

Knowing where the enemy’s from.

Reveals the fight can be won.

For God your father is on your side.

Don’t be scared and go and hide.

Stand firm in the Lord.

From belt of truth to the sword.

Your righteousness now in place.

Peaceful faith will fill your days.

Your spirit sure as you pray.

Help me Lord to win this day.

Aug. 2

Deut. 30-32

I have lived life nearly out.

Have seen what it’s all about

That Salvation cannot be earned.

To the Lord I have returned.

To again sit with him.

Holy Spirit now dwells within.

As I choose to now depend upon.

The word where hope comes from.

Future I now do see.

Clear and obvious to me.

Jesus in this world will lead.

Suppling my every need.

So now can be strong.

For l know to whom I belong.

But still can be a foolish clown.

And let the Lord down.

Yet when facing a disaster.

Can turn again to my master.

He will forgive and renew.

Be with me in all l do.

Now I can write a song.

Showing to who l belong.

His blessings I do see.

His loved poured out on me.

He is my solid rock.

I depend on him a lot.

Just and faithful all day long

How l praise him now in song

Upright and just is he

How happy I am to be.

With his hand in my hand.

Did flee that desert land.

Though always must beware.

Of falling prey to next snare.

Mth 14:1-12

When you make a stand.

Against evil in the land.

They will come to kill.

While in the Fathers will.

When they may curse us.

God fulfils his eternal purpose.

Ps. 119:9-16

I seek you with all my heart.

For I want to be set apart.

With your word giving me.

Riches and surety

A wicked person loves a sad story.

Children of faith are your glory.

Deut. 25-27

Life’s all about doing right.

Being just, in the Lords sight.

When see wrong amongst men.

Be ready to condemn.

When things are so bad.

Abusing the poor and sad.

Be honest in your dealing.

Despite how you’re feeling.

Being thankful to Jesus.

Who gave all, to please us.

Now you must destroy.

Things that did annoy.

As you honour him.

Who enabled you to begin.

And build your own temple.

As a righteous example.

Constantly reminding.

With oaths that are binding.

That you are up for the fight.

To do right in Gods sight.

Mth. 13:36-46

The Lord gives the opportunity.

For all men to be totally free.

But weeds come and sprout.

Filling your heart with real doubt.

But the Lord says never fear.

I will always be there.

So you will shine like the sun.

Reflecting the light of Gods Son.

So valuable the Lords to me.

All I ever want to see.

Ps. 78:65-72

The Lord the world did surprise.

That men world does despise.

Will lead as a shepherd.

You this Lord prepared.

Prov. 17:1-2

Silence with all peace.

Disruption will then cease.

Deut 22-24

Listen to what the Lord says.

In all of your days.

for he would guide you.

On the right things to do.

Trying to be innocent.

For he is always present.

Mth. 13:24-25

Even when weeds are spread.

Lord says just go ahead.

Until it is harvest time.

And I will pick what is mine.

No matter you seem so small.

You will one day grow tall.

And spread word through out

What his yeast is all about.

Stories Lord did say.

Relevant even today.

When cause God Offence

There is a consequence.

Feels like Gods withdrawn.

Life becomes forlorn.

Prov. 16;33

When seems you are stuck.

It’s the Lord who sends good luck.
