Lev. 21-23. ( To be a priest of the Lord)

To be Priest of the Lord.

Is to live faithfully in accord.

With all that he is.

In absolute holiness.

In every area of life.

Including family and or wife.

When seems too hard to do.

The Lord says I am with you.

But holy you must always be.

To declare your dedication to me.

In every area you live.

To me you must give.

Honour and sacrifice.

Mediocrity won’t suffice.

Lk 2:21-33. ( Jesus’s dedication to God)

As each come to dedicate.

In our vulnerable baby state

We hear the promise given.

Amazed at the body we live in.

Can have a glorious future.

That God came down to nurture.

Ps. 71:17-24. (A dedicated life’s reward)

Oh God you have taught me.

So I can now still confidently.

Old and grey feel I can still.

Serve you Lord and do your will.

Knowing my Lord on high.

Even in struggles when l sigh.

You come and restore.

Just like it was before.

I then feel joyful all over again.

As worship and praise your name.

For you have ransomed me.

Come set me completely free.

Prov. 2:3-5

As l cry out for more.

The Lord will bless and restore.

Jan 11 Sunday

Galatian’s 5:22-23 ( to be christian)

The Holy Spirit will produce

A heart that will induce

You to do good to all.

That is your call

Nehemiah 8:10

Go now and celebrate.

For your present state.

Strength cannot be ignored.

By having the joy of the Lord.

Hebrews. 12:1-2

Now because we have heard.

The truth in Gods word.

Let’s strip off all weight.

That has hindered us to date.

That we might endure.

Answer the call to be pure.

disregarding the shame.

Of believing in Christs name.

For we need not cower

He is seated in all power

James. 1:2-3

So when troubles come your way.

Remember it’s always the Lords day

For when God seems to test.

You will learn what is best.

Lev. 18-20 (sexual purity and holiness)

You must be holy as God is holy.

To do any other is complete folly

You know what his word says.

How you are to live your days.

I must be in complete harmony.

With the God who loves me.

Who knows what is best.

Disappointment be does detest.

I should always try to do.

What’s good in Gods view.

Luke 2:8:20 ( The shepherds revelation at night)

It is amazing what God has done.

Glory for him has been won.

For men on earth shall be peace.

For those who their God do please.

I must hurry now to see.

What God has shown me.

Amazing was the sight.

A baby revealing his might.

I just had to tell.

For I knew all was well.

While Mary listened too.

What was God going to do?

Lord you know the trouble I’m in.

Yet l know you can help me win.

Jan 8

Lev 13:38-14:57 (disease )

Sometimes l will be afflicted.

Though it’s totally disconnected.

From any fault of mine.

But all will be fine.

If we acknowledge our problem.

Then seek help to solve them.

Lk. 1:67-80 (Prophecy fulfilled in John)

The Holy Spirit has revealed

How the future is sealed.

He will send the one

Who will overcome

Through a desert effect

He will be able to reflect.

And prepare the way

For the Lord to come one day.

Ps. 3 ( victory in failure)

I feel such a failure.

Despite having a saviour.

Defeated and feel small

By those who have the gall.

To flash their riches before me.

So l feel defeated completely

And yet l still have no doubt.

God will put a hedge about.

To totally protect me.

From the enemy.

Rise Lord come rescue.

Like l know you can do.

Prov. 1;29-31

Knowledge was hated.

Good advice relegated.

Lev. 11-13

The Lord knows what’s good for you.

Exactly what you should do.

To eat and fight off all disease.

To live with him in perfect ease.

To bow before him in everything.

To listen, obey, ourselves to bring.

Lives that will honour him.

Christ the Lord who dwells within.

Lk 1:57-66

A new birth happened to me.

As l now began to see.

Our amazing and giving God.

Did a thing seemed quite odd.

Surprisingly we gave this name.

That his purpose did proclaim.

Reveals something of what this is

What a amazing life will be his

We will just have to wait and see.

What that purpose is going to be.

Ps. 42:6-12

I am deeply discouraged.

My faith needs to be encouraged.

Lord yet l know you see.

All that is troubling me.

I must ask you just why.

I feel weak and about to die.

But in any case l do say.

I will praise you when l pray.

Confidently l surely know

You can lift me from my low.

The Lord has always told.

How to be healthy and be bold.

December 6

Lev. 8-10

The Lord has told you.

What you have to do.

What won’t cause offence.

To come into his presence.

If others do otherwise.

Their faith gradually dies.

But you must move on.

With who you depend upon.

Though they make me sad.

God makes me really glad.

Lk. 1:39-36

When Christ visits me.

My spirit jumps with glee.

When I know Christ within.

It is God my praise is in.

That he could come and do.

Something amazingly new

To a lowly person like me.

That even others would see.

Ps. 42:1-5

Like the deer l thirst.

Needing my God first.

For l so depend on him.

Who all my hope is in.

While others may scorn.

l have been reborn.

A child of the Lord.

Discouraged but not ignored.

I will praise him again.

My faith is not in vain.

Listen to what’s wise.

See wicked peoples demise.

January 4

Gal. 5:22-23. Love

The fruit of the Spirit.

We should be seen to do it

Love , joy, peace, goodness.

Kindness , patience, faithfulness.

Gentleness and self-control.

Makes the christian whole.

1 Cor. 13

To show love.

Is far above.

Any other gift

That would lift.

Or show a man

Is in Gods plan

Ephesians 3:14-21

Also Gods love.

Is by far above.

Anything like here below.

That we could ever know.

For it is him alone.

Who reveals the unknown.

Give glory to him.

Who our faith is in.

John. 15:9-17

Jesus showed great love.

Obeying Father above

As an example to follow.

That our faith is not hollow

That we love our Father

And show love to one another.

Jan. 3 Acknowledgement

A sacrifice has to be made.

We’ve done what God forbade.

Something has to die.

Valuable in my eye.

Though may not seem wise.

It makes me recognise

What God and men can see.

The enormity of sin in me.

Compared to God so holy.

I’m weak and full of folly.

So that is why.

Something had to die.

For Christ to live within.

For me to enter in.

Gods temple of mine.

It would always be a sign.

With Gods sacrificial lamb.

Now righteous is what l am.

Lk. 1:11-25

As we go to worship him.

Who our total faith is in.

He reveals what to do.

Something totally new.

That may really frighten us.

And cause quite a fuss.

But we just need go home.

As will of God comes known.

In such an amazing way.

For the need of the day.

Ps. 10:1-11

And yet l still see.

Wickedness all around me.

God just seems to ignore.

Their ignorance of his law.

They have this good life.

Totally devoid of strife.

While l just struggle on.

Never seem to have won.

Nevertheless

Listen to what the Father says.

Avoid this world’s evil ways.

Titus. 1-3 a man unworthy

For a church to grow.

You must all know.

And be sure.

Your leaders are pure.

So Paul would say

That there is no way.

I should ever lead.

Just fulfil a need.

Support where can.

A righteous man.

Luke 1-10

But God even then.

Chooses unlikely men.

To fulfil his mission on earth.

To start a new birth.

Ps. 90

Lord so pure and powerful.

I’ve failed feel so mournful

Please come forgive me.

That in my last days l see.

There is no real doubt.

Your purpose worked out

No wonder God seems so far.

But there will come a day.

When the Lord will have his way.

Bring all things to light

To hear what the Lord says .

To stand in the suns rays.

When l was seeking the Lords way.

Though all those around me.

Could only desolation see.

I went still ,so I could cope.

To the one place I had hope.

To the temples inner space.

In hope of seeing Gods face.

Lord forever you have been there.

The universe under your care.

It is as though time stood still

While you carried out your will.

Prov. 1:1-4

These wise words are taught.

So we do as we ought.
