Num. 14-15

When you don’t believe

That the Lord will fight for you.

You won’t now receive.

Except those who said they knew.

The Lord would again deliver.

For they had seen it all before.

Their faith would never wither

His power they would not ignore.

To disbelieve does God offend

The righteous plead the cause.

But the rebellious he would send.

To desert while he pause.

And they all just fade away.

Only those who will come to see. .

And believe in what I say.

And lived in desert faithfully.

Till come to promised land.

To make a sacrifice

Leave behind the desert sand.

The Lord alone will suffice.

But those who disobey.

Gods law deliberately flout

Knowing what God does say.

Will have them all cast out.

Lk. 7:11-23

Amazed at what we see

When disaster I do face

How the Lord saved me

No longer in disgrace.

When I see his compassion

Not seem at all in accord

With the prevailing fashion

Of the holiness of the Lord.

Though faithful ask now why.

Your majesty don’t display

He answers with a sigh

Don’t miss out on God today

Ps. 107::23-32

Some went out to sea

To see the Lord in action

When storm would batter me

It tested my reaction

As he calmed the storm

Publicly to now praise him

When everything returned to norm.

Tell the world of him.

Prov. 3:25-26

Need not be afraid of disaster.

For that he is your master

Num. 11-13

When complain because can’t aford

It angers the Lord.

For he can supply all I need.

Then I complain of those who lead.

Disaster will then strike you

For the whole world to view.

Then say those giants too strong for me

Ignoring how Lord has set me free

Lk. 7:1-10

When sickness is with me.

I call to Lord to set me free

Though l know he will come.

Feel l am am the unworthy one.

But this l really know.

Though l feel shamefully low.

Just as workers do as l say.

The Lord will have his way.

For all he has to do.

Say the word and he can heal you

Ps. 107:17-22

Fool you suffer because of your sin.

Cry out to Lord please help me win.

Because l do confess.

He healed me from distress

The forgiveness of the Lord.

Just use your commonsense

It is Gods protective fence.

There must be order

If want to cross the border.

Into Gods promised land.

As travel over desert sand.

With a thanksgiving reunion

As we have communion.

In Christ our salvation

As we march in formation

In Gods glorious light.

Ready for the fight.

Then know to stay still.

When see it is his will.

That we should forever

Worship God together

In all situations you live in.

Forgive and you will be forgiven.

Even as you give much.

You will feel Gods touch.

Truth you never find.

If you are led by the blind.

Ignoring others problems.

Looking for own solutions.

For it is the fruit on the tree.

That really defines me.

So build on solid rock.

That will withstand future shock.

Or you will get swept away.

Because have chosen easy way.

Some just did not care.

That the Lord was not there.

But disaster was finally seen.

Cried Lord where have you been

Each one should bring

To Gods holy place an offering.

What we can afford.

In honour of the Lord.

For him to speak today

And show us the way.

To be a follower of Jesus.

Is to love those who don’t please us.

For God does exactly that.

We cannot ignore that fact.

It must be understood

To love is to do good

To even those.

Who seem to oppose.

Ps. 107:1-9

Give thanks for there is no doubt.

Must tell what God is about.

How God brought from far away.

To worship together on this day.

In each of our needs

It is God alone who leads.

To fill hungry and those who thirst.

As we put him always first.

Joyful are those who find wisdom.

January 26

Num 4:34-6:27 (community)

Each numbered before the Lord

To live pure and in accord

Whith what’s best for all.

In their own special call.

When God has forbade.

A sacrifice needs to be made.

To cleanse our soul.

And make the church whole.

Diseased sent outside the camp.

Away from Gods shining lamp

For the safety of all

To answer Gods call.

The sick came to be healed.

Their faith in Jesus revealed. .

When we feel so poor

It opens heavens door

Hunger will be satisfied.

Laughter where before cried

People will be annoyed

But you will be overjoyed

While those who have it all.

With Jesus now we’re freed

To meet our every need.

To heal on the Sabbath day.

Much to the self righteous dismay.

Then chooses quite ordinary men

To go out to their world when.

It seemed so hard to believe.

Praises come from me.

The goodness of God l see

For each and every one of us.

The Lord made it all.

Numbers 1-2. (boundaries)

The Lord commands a certain order.

For you to have a protective border.

So that we might advance

In a certain clear cut stance

Though different we’re all as one.

That we might get God’s purpose done.

Luke. 5:27-39 (dinner with sinner)

It might surprise you.

Despite what others do

That Jesus is with them

Treats as righteous men

For it is a new day

We see Jesus in a different way

Freedom to be really me.

People wonder at what they see

Wine from new skin does pour out.

Some wonder what it is all about

For they are in the past still.

But I know I’m in the Fathers will

Shout to Lord there is no doubt

Don’t be impressed by how good you are.

God can supply much more by far.

January 23

James 3-5 (influence)

To control what you say.

When blessed or when not okay.

Like a ship with a rudder.

Words control each other

What you say is important too

For it can damage those around you

But in God you can become wise.

When you say all God desires.

In him you will mature.

Your life become pure.

But to be friend of the world.

From Gods presence will be hurled.

Should be friendly with those.

Who the world do oppose.

You will endure to the end.

Wherever God may send.

Pray for each other.

When in a teal bother.

Confess and restore.

Relationships as before.

The healing power of Jesus.

Is right here amongst us.

Religious refuse to see.

Though healed of leprosy.

When forgiven of blame.

I can be healed in his name.

To leap up and to praise.

When we see Gods ways.

For he is to be adored.

For all that we see.

January 22

James. 1-2. (integrity}

Faith that will endure.

Is shown to be pure.

In actions as well.

As what they like to tell.

Even as they learn to be wise.

The things of world despise.

For things you get involved in.

Can lead to deadly sin.

You think your God is here.

He actually is nowhere near.

Pride has gone to your head.

Yourfaith in God is dead.

True religion is this.

To show the love that’s His.

Lk. 5:1-11 (seashore encounter)

While in work I’m focused on.

Jesus came wandering along.

I listened to all he said.

Then my immediate need he fed.

To the amazement of us all.

So I answered to his call.

When he said I will do

What seems impossible to you

Instead of a fisherman

You now will fill a different bin.

Ps. 91 (protected)

In this amazing psalm.

I realise God protects everyone.

No longer need I dread.

For my Saviour has said.

No matter what disaster in.

I will allow you to always win.

All you need do is call on me.

To have complete victory.

Prov. 3:3-4

Never let goodness and kindness leave you

Then God will bless everything you do.
