Jere. 10-13

Everybody lives in fear.

They all think disaster near.

Get their highs in sport from.

Favourites supported all along

Honouring the very rich.

Hoping to satisfy that itch.

To forget what life’s about.

True faith now, full of doubt.

There then comes a day.

When the Lord seems far away.

Forgotten all he has done.

In history, victories won.

Though constantly we rebel.

Jesus came, so he could tell.

Look to me and l will bless.

Come now, just you say yes

Though men do plot against me.

Even from my family tree.

For world has lost all hope.

Rich and famous cannot cope.

The church that was well used.

Ignored now, or even abused.

What we had always understood.

Wasted away, considered no good.

Because the world so unclean.

One day disaster will be seen.

No longer feeling so bold.

Happened just as has been told.

Mark 16:33-47

Darkness and destruction.

Cry to Lord for instruction.

The whole world seemed to me.

Totally lost essentially.

For Jesus Gods only son.

No longer appears to have won.

As he died there on the cross.

And we all saw our great loss.

Saddened we can only mope.

But somehow still had hope.

Past buried there in a tomb.

What future now does loom?

Ps. 17

Lord l come to you and plead.

Help me in my great need.

You have seen and do know.

I have taken such a blow.

Right from the very start.

You have examined my heart.

So help me to come clean.

Now on you, alone to lean.

Prov. 14:13-16

Even in laughter, heart will ache.

Look to Lord, for goodness sake.

Jere. 7-9

False religion shows just the start.

0f deceitfulness of the heart.

Words that will deceive.

Yet you seem to believe.

Lead down a slippery track.

So hard to then turn back.

To walk again with Jesus.

Again in total consensus.

That we might now fulfil.

His good and perfect will.

Instead you’re in a mess.

When God would love to bless.

Come and let’s be wise.

You should recognise.

The foolish things you do.

That land you in a stew.

Uncircumcised of heart.

Life is falling apart.

Mark. 15:21-32

You have to wonder why.

Men would now deny.

The Lord of everything.

Our saviour and our king.

That they would crucify.

As they scorn and lie.

It is shown right then.

The wickedness of men.

Ps. 8

Lord but now we see.

Your power and majesty.

Far above all else.

Made the mountain and the mouse.

I really struggle to see.

Could you think of even me.

Lord how majestic is your name.

We see your power and your fame.

Prov. 14:9-12

He comes to unlock.

Fools look and mock.

Jere. 5-6

What a disaster awaits.

The prophet of God states.

The enemy you don’t now see.

Will destroy you completely.

Except those with perception.

God will make an exception.

Most do not God fear.

Have ears but don’t care.

Think they are so cool.

Will be seen as a fool.

By those who in sorrow.

Want their nation to follow.

And to live in accord.

To the ways of the Lord.

Will be freed.

And grow from new seed

Mark. 15:1-20

Finally will be seen.

Just how deceitful and mean.

As wickedly

People can now be.

Jesus stood his ground.

Not making a sound.

Allowed them to win.

They yelled crucify him

Ps. 144:9-15

Yet Lord I now see.

How you have so blessed me.

Rescued me form this disaster.

Lies that take me from my master.

Your promise to me fulfilled.

All worries and fears are stilled.

Prov. 14:5-8

Wrong advice will make you rue.

The bad advice you listened to.

Jeremiah 1-3

When God does call.

I feel just so small.

That others will dismiss.

Gods warning will miss.

Words that proclaim.

Utter disdain.

For their christian walk.

And all of their talk.

In dreams l do see.

Just how wickedly.

They follow what’s wrong.

Till God comes along.

Despite how we behave.

To once again save.

But still they rebel.

Despite what I do tell.

Until God destroys all.

His power his call.

A new kingdom to bring.

A totally new thing.

Where all men will say.

What an amazing day.

Mark 14:66-72

Right down below here.

We are suddenly aware.

Of weakness when we face.

Opposition in this space.

Just how could now I.

So vehemently deny.

My master and king.

For he’s everything.

Ps. 144

Lord come help me cope.

You are my only hope.

Take away all fear.

Show that you do care.

Then I will see.

My enemies flee.

Prov. 14:1-4

All people should know.

You reap what you sow.

Hosea. 11-14

No wonder l struggle to win.

My life so full of sin.

Yet know it’s me he’s called.

Yet others are, so appalled.

At my lack of faithfulness.

Seem to have lost that blessedness.

Even then l know he says yes.

My child be still, l will you bless.

For l am now more wise.

My old ways, now despise.

Gods word says what is right.

Rebellious cannot, see the light.

Mark. 14:53-65

What wickedness do we see.

In the whole of humanity.

We all spat on him.

Overcome in rebellion.

In silence he just stood.

Evil contrasts now with good.

Refused to recognise.

In unbelief, our faith dies.

Only later do l see.

He suffered just for me.

Ps. 139:13-24

Lord you knew me from the start.

You knew l would be a part.

Of your purpose here on earth.

As I came into your new birth.

How precious my God thought.

As rescued and he brought.

Me back again to worship him.

Despite the wickedness within.

Search and know my heart.

So l can again be a part.

Hate what others do.

In defiance of precious you.

Prov. 13:25

Righteous needs are met.

Wicked deserve what get.

June 15. Sunday

Mth 28:16-20 2Cor. 13:14. John. 1:18. 15:18-26

It seems an impossible mission.

For others to catch my vision.

It should not come as a surprise

If listen to what Jesus did advise.

Though you too did have doubt.

Not now as shown what he’s about.

Others refuse to believe him

Totally rejecting resurrection.

Father, Son and Spirit now with.

You wherever you do live.

They see and do know.

Reveal truth to us below.

They are never too late.

To determine our fate.

Holy Spirit come.

So may know Gods Son.

For you alone can reveal.

What in this world is real.

Hosea 6-10

Now I must turn to him.

So torn to pieces, within.

Surely if I come again.

He will take away all pain.

Though his word cuts like a knife.

It helps me change my life.

To heal and restore.

My failures ignore.

Though slothfulness surrounds.

His love to me still abounds.

As wearily I do see.

No power within me.

All that God has given.

Useless though know forgiven.

I acknowledge you.

Doesn’t show in what I do.

Go to great lengths.

To prove my strengths.

Looks good my sacrifice.

Then ignore the words advice.

What will happen to this man.

The day of reckoning is at hand.

What can I expect.

Others naturally, reject.

For l will falter.

Before my broken altar.

But if l live in love.

Now see power from above.

For the day will surely come.

God will be seen by everyone.

Mark. 14:43-52

Seeming disaster and arrest.

Lord’s done what he knows best.

I fight with my sword.

Not dependent on my Lord.

Though such a terrible sight.

Scared l now take flight.

Accused alone my sins to bear.

I have no faith, so full of fear

Ps. 139:7-12

Where can l go.

That Spirit doesn’t know.

For he is always here.

I am under his care.

Even darkness will not hide.

When in you l abide.

Night will shine like the day.

When always do what you do say.

Prov. 13:24

Though may seem quite odd.

Love does not spare the rod.

Hosea 1-5

What l see portrayed.

Is my life I’m afraid.

For I am still.

So often unfaithful.

That he will still love you.

Inspite of all you do.

For God still calls to me.

Come and you will see.

Yet there will be others.

Who used to be your brothers.

Who refuse to obey.

Or follow me today.

One day they’ll come again.

To live under my name.

To earnestly seek me.

Because of their misery.

Mark. 14:27-42

I am just so dismayed.

Lord knows I am afraid.

That l would deny him.

When looks like l can’t win.

When his work seems so hard.

l am dealt a losing card.

Tired and so weary.

Now just so sleepy.

Yet the Lord he knows.

The coming highs and lows.

Ps. 139:1-6

There is nothing about me.

Lord you do not see.

Before even l was born.

My destiny began to form.

You took hold of my hand.

Just to hard to understand.

You were always there.

I was under your care.

Prov. 13:21-23

You receive according.

How deserve rewarding.

2Kings. 24-25

As all men rebel.

It soon will tell.

God will then send.

An enemy to end.

Lost our Gods care

To enemy we fear.

Terrible destruction.

Ignored Gods instruction.

Until all riches gone.

Taken in captivity from.

The temple of God.

To a place we feel odd.

Mark. 14:12-26

We will then see.

Restore our memory.

How God did save.

When we were a slave.

Even then.

There will be men.

Evil at heart.

Don’t want to be apart.

Of Gods salvation.

For this our nation.

Ps. 73:17-28

As l grow in him.

My heart burns within.

As see evil displayed.

Feel totally dismayed.

And so annoyed.

Then all is destroyed.

A different story.

Come into Gods glory.

Prov. 13:20

Walk with wise.

Not fools advise

2Kings. 21-23

How wicket are we.

The Lord can see.

Disaster will befall.

On us all.

Then comes a man.

Reads where all began.

Starts a new day.

From evil turns away.

But the wickedness still there.

We again do not care.

Forget and do again.

Causing so much pain.

Making God to frown

So finally closes down.

Mark 14:1-11

Here again the contrast.

Jesus fulfilling passover at last.

Yet evil men still conspire.

Against all that we desire.

Though we may seem poor.

We honour and adore.

And do not miss.

All that Jesus is.

Ps. 73:1-16

God is good to the pure.

Helps them to endure.

Yet so often see.

Others better off than me.

I am in constant pain.

All I did seems in vain.

Prov. 13:17-19

Are you going to lose?

Depends on what you choose?
