Jere. 31-32

Amazing God we serve.

Don’t get what we deserve.

Though in a desperate plight.

In love and in foresight.

Fathers might outpours.

As he again restores.

Weeping as we come.

Knowing what we have done.

What rejoicing will be heard.

Despite’s sadness that occurred.

But still there is hope.

To get off this slippery slope.

Ashamed humiliated again.

Yet now l can proclaim.

Because l have believed.

The Fathers love I received

Not because of who l am.

It is God’s sacrificial lamb.

A new covenant is now here.

Where it is all so clear.

That I’m Gods special child.

No longer by the world reviled.

What seemed to me improbable.

To others utterly impossible.

The Lord revealed to me.

What could happen possibly.

So in faith l now see.

God has set me free.

Despite disaster all around.

In the storm not run aground.

Mth. 4:12-25

Jesus’s time has come.

To the surprise of some.

Fishermen he did call.

Away from fishing haul.

To follow wherever he went.

Hearing that you must repent.

Listen and you will hear

The kingdom of God is near.

Ps. 98

Sing to the lord a new song.

For to him l belong.

What joy is to be had.

I’m so happy and so glad.

For he has shown his great love.

Blessings from heaven above.

Prov. 14:34-35

The king delights in the wise.

Shameful he does despise.
