Philemon

No longer a slave

having to behave.

Freedom now given

in house l once lived in.

Now just another

much loved brother.

He so loved me

he set me free.

Sat down for special meal.

Christ said this would seal.

His fate and ours.

As obedience allows.

As him we are following

we will now see healing.

The way world behaving

You are my safe haven.

Yet still I see

storms around me.

Shine now your light

so l see your might.

in all that l do

and really know you.

So I can be encouraged

and not so discouraged.

The way l can cope.

Lev:26-27

In everything I do

I choose to honour you.

I know you will bless

when I say yes!

It is so much worse

to come under a curse.

When try so hard but fail

life can be such a sorry tale.

All because lost my thirst

of putting you alone first.

You came to set me free

of things that trouble me.

Luke. 22:1-13

Choose who you bow before

Heaven will open the door.

But those who say

this not the way.

Won’t hear the call

to go inside the wall.

Prepare to celebrate

with Christ it will be great.

When all that l can see

is everybody against me.

All that I can really do

Ask please come rescue

from such a sorry state.

So I can control my fate.

Fools refuse to be inducted.

April 7

Lev. 23-25. victory.

Times of joy and fasting

makes your faith lasting.

When see something bad

should be righteously mad.

Life not all sweet dreams

sometime l struggle it seems.

But there is a jubilee

when set free from slavery.

You can claim it as a right

for you have seen the light.

Now in the promised land

and able to make a stand.

There to sing a song

it’s to the Lord we belong.

Luke 21:29-38

Watch the world around

and answers will be found.

Fulfilment of Gods word

clearly will be heard.

Disaster you will know

now no need to feel low.

No longer do you fear

see Gods kingdom is near

Remember before to late

this will control your fate.

It is not out of reach

come to hear Jesus preach.

Ps. 50:16-23

What a sinner l are

Falling short by far.

Of what l know to do

In serving you.

Repent and l will see

Gods goodness to me.

Lev. 21-23

Our God is holy.

Sees wickedness a folly.

A sacrifice that is pure

only thing that is sure

to allow you to come

before the holy one.

Lk. 21:25-28

When life in turmoil

in fear people recoil.

Then Jesus will come

and stun everyone.

In full sight

his power his might.

Authority to reign.

All will be plain.

Believers will say wow

before their maker bow

Ps. 50:1-15

Think your sacrifice alone

will your life atone.

Is to think God in need

you can satisfy and feed.

God who stands tall

and has it all.

Does not rely on you

and all that you do.

Prov. 10:3

The Lord rescues today

those who follow his way.

April 4

Lev 18-20. sin

To be sexually pure

shows that you are sure

customs of day rejected

this is what’s expected.

It is at the very core

of what Jesus died for.

To leave sin and strife

and live a wholesome life.

Luke. 21:12-24

We have been warned

before a new days dawned.

Earth will be a disaster.

Rejecting our Lord as master

We can also expect

this evil to effect

and cause much strife

in our own life.

Ps. 25:16-22

Lord l have problem.

Help me to solve them

It is you l seek.

Yet feel so weak.

I know l am a sinner

Help me be a winner.

You are my only hope

For me to cope.

Live right it will save your life

Seeking riches just causes strife.

Lev. 15-17. hope

Purify my life still means

get rid of filth it seems.

What hope have l

But this is why

The only escape for me

is to constantly

Claim the blood of him

who sacrificed for my sin.

Luke. 21:8-11

For there is no other way

don’t be led astray.

Just patiently wait

God controls world’s fate.

Despite what you see

just focus on he.

Ps. 25:8-15

When you are in a fight

the Lord does what is right.

When in dismay

He shows the way.

My sins he does forgive

In joy l still will live.

My eyes are on him

not on my sin.

Prov. 10:1

To avoid your demise

choose to be wise.

Lev. 11-13. listen.

God knows what you can eat

He knows so you can beat.

The health issues of today

so you all will be okay.

Faith shown is not hollow

when decide to follow

instructions sent from him

that allows you to win.

Though you may not know

why it is so.

It is not just a test

for the Lord he knows best.

Listen to what he does say

He wants you to be okay.

Luke. 20:41-47

You claim it is an offence.

Really just common sense.

Jesus reveals true way

still in this day.

Beware those who despise

Who think they are wise.

Determined to control.

Like police on patrol.

Ps. 32

The Lord says yes

to all who confess.

To those who don’t

and say I won’t.

The Lord does now say

you will just waste away.

What joy it is to proclaim

victory in his name.

For he would protect you

in everything you do.

Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom.

Knowing Jesus and prepared to listen.
