Job. 18-20

Still they will not listen

Full of their own wisdom.

Willing only to accuse

I’m just getting my dues

I know all of what you say.

Am l worse than you today?

I just don’t think it’s fair

God doesn’t seem to care

Yet know my redeemer lives

He comes down and gives

I will stand before him

Waiting for approval in

all that he chooses to see

in his love for you and me.

Again you say not true

I am not as good as you.

The law l have not met

deserve everything l get.

Luke 18:1-17

Persistence in prayer

shows l really care.

God will answer in the end

He will come and defend.

Then he will come and ask

have you faith for the task?

When giving what is due

shows how humble are you

Do you come like child

Meek weak and so mild.

Lord I love you

So refreshed in all l do.

How good God is

when struggling in this.

His word so obvious

There is no excuse.
